Someone in my
family who I was very close to died
3 years ago and I still have a hard time
with it.

Coincidentally one of my co-workers
would also make Helvetica T-shirts
and she gave one to me. When I saw
the sweatshirts on your post, I thought
it was pretty strange. I guess it could
be interpreted in many different ways.
But I see it as she is still here, just
in a different form, just like my
family member.

When I can't figure things out, my
brain keeps spinning until I figure
a justifiable solution. I did a lot of
research on death and this might
sound strange, but I came up with
there is a whole spectrum of colors
that we can't see and when
someone passes away, They go
into that spectrum, therefore, they
are still with us. It's just a different
form. One example is when you
take a photo with a 35mm camera,
and because the film is made
from crystals, it can pick up
a spectrum we cannot see. Maybe
that is why you can sometimes
see ghost like images in the
photographs. But digital cameras
haven't gotten there yet. I think
11 megapixels equals the 35
mm film.

I'm very sorry about your friend, but
I'm sure she knows you are thinking
of her.umeboshi onigirihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09387970792012514715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24294398.post-1166710830433902072006-12-21T06:20:00.000-08:002006-12-21T06:20:00.000-08:00Wrote this about my best friend that passed away a...Wrote this about my best friend that passed away almost 2 years ago this March:

"It’s blinding and numbing and shattering all at the same time - loss. The familiar things become blurry and the linear forms that make our structured world seem to dissolve as if they were never anything except sugar frosting. Because of the pain in the way it makes us numb in the way that it intensifies the smallest moments the frame of what was our reference seems nothing short of surreal."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
