Thanks to everyone who can make it. It's been great! Even though we didn't get to honk around midnite. There was quite a number of honking that nite.

I couldn't remember the last time I ever won anything. But this is the best feeling. I feel so high (this is seriously not farnie, I might end up in a loony bin).

Anyways, remember this tag blog post about it last week (last Wednesday to be exact)? Aww, you don't? click this link, here. I'm the winner! YATTA! It was announced on the 27th Dec 2009, the time when I just came back from my day trip to Kundasang. Amy C thanks for informing me via plurk. I wouldn't have known. Btw, the winner announcement, here.

I though, didn't know wut the prize was. I didn't know what to expect, well since TCS never announce/mention about the prize either. It got me curious, so curious that I was cracking my brains. I sent my details on the 28th Dec and waited for a reply. And got reply and was given the tracking number yesterday (mind you) and all in just two (2) days. Talking about efficiency ei? That was fast. And was informed that my package will arrive in 2 days.

Still curious with what is in the package. I was doing the online Pos Laju track and trace thing whole day. It got me really excited. Till (not sure wut time) I noticed the status changed to item in KK. I got even more excited. I waited, and waited, and waited. But my package haven't arrive. I tried calling Pos Laju center but it was engage till 4pm. I kept on dialing and dialing and dialing till 20 minutes later, I got connected and enquired about my package. The lady told me that the postman who're handling my area is on leave (typical) and I will most likely receive my package the next day with a different postman. Though, she's not sure when I'll receive it. Now, knowing how slow postman could be sometimes, I decided to go collect it myself. I do it often enuff actually. I should never be given tracking numbers. I get all jumpy. Anyways, it was 4:30pm when I left the office and I got to the post office 15 mins before 5pm. They close at 5pm btw.

Got my package and couldn't wait to rip off. I mean the box. But before I did that, I had to take photo of the box hehe. Typical massy rite?

A superheadz 35mm film camera. The White Slim Angel version. I was left speechless. Something really nice to add up to my collection. Guilty~ I haven't finish the film from the Holga yet XD Flannie, my young sifu is coming home! Sifu, I need guidance. Kekekeke.

Haven't tested it yet. I'll just gonna post up photos of it first. I'll try it soon. I promise.

[27th Dec 2009] Kundasang Trip (Day 2)

Rise and shine!!! (*queue the cardigans).

I was nearly having a nice sleep till my bro called and woke me up slightly before 8am to take photo of Mount Kinabalu. We got the perfect view from our room window. Natural air day and night. No air-conditioning. It's also creepy if you ask me.

Took those with two (2) different camera.

Packed and brought my bag to the car. We haven't check out yet, I just dun need my bag in the room.

Went to look for breakfast. Went to Strawberry garden. But there's no strawberries *sad. Not strawberry season *sigh. And they only serve fried noodles there. Went to another place along the road but that place have one (1) waitress and one (1) cook, takes too much time and looks like they only serve fried noodles too. Dad sort of got bored with fried noodles. Imagine 3 days different company meeting serve the same noodle. BORING~

Went to Nabalu Lodge just so it's convenient and more choice. We notice people eat fried noodles in the morning. Don't they get bored?

We went to the Kundasang War Memorial at around 10:13am. Entrance fee for MyKad Holder is RM2.00, foreigners is RM10.00.

Massive photos ahead.

How's everyone's holiday? As for me, I went to Kundasang with my parents and brother. I'm constantly thinking how am I gonna ~~write~~ type this post coz I have around 700 photos (I brought two (2) camera with me) in total. Wanted to bring the Holga with me but my bag were too heavy. Somehow. Maybe, just maybe I could reduce the photos part since most of it are shots of my Mini Danboard (I'll post this at my figure blog, here).

Lets just hope this blog post won't be long (but will have lotsa fewd photos ngehehehe).

Here's a map for those who never been to Kundasang. It's been few years since I last visited that place. Think of fresh vegetables and fruits and foggy like Cameron Highlands.

One (1) thing one should get when they're at Menggatal town are hot buns!

My dad used to get lotsa these when I was younger. They have coconut fillings, cream fillings, tausa and etc t here. Glad that they still have these there.

I asked my "assistant" to take some photos of the town too ;)

On the road, all you can see are green grass and trees, old houses and shops etc. Very pleasant view, gewd for relaxing and sleeping in the car. I for one always end up sleeping, erm sometimes just to get some shut eye coz of my dad's driving. And here I thought I'm the mad driver. He's a even crazier driver than me. Since we're in mum's car, mum, being her cautious self, keeps reminding dad to slow down or be careful.

I got slightly hungry on the way, had my butter cream bun ;) eat it while it's hot. Nyum~

Oh, it's common, I think in Malaysia (I think) to have this sight. Stalls along the road selling fruit, vegetables and local snacks and etc. We stopped for Duku Langsat? A mix of duku and langsat? I have no idea. The skin is as hard as duku but inside looks like langsat. That's the best explanation I could come up with.

1 plastic for RM5. Dad got it for RM4.

Dad made a joke about langsat being "halal". Poor dood didn't get his joke. *sweat.

There's a near by stall selling "vogoks!" (piggie).

Heard from a friend that it's been raining at Ranau for few days. It was sunny for a moment it started pouring around 11am (I think).

I'm starting to hate my hair.

Sorry didn't take much shot of the place, we (me and bro) were bz taking photos of mini danboard.

When it's cold and foggy, don't use aircond. And always bring your jacket. In this case, I left my jacket in my bag, thank gawd I manage to get it.

It was so cold that I'm starting to get hungry. We went for lunch at Nabalu Lodge & Cafe (there's 1 branch here in KK at Gaya Street, same row as RHB bank), arrived there around noon. There's a cafe there. I blogged about it few years ago. During my last trip there. My raves, here.

This place is undergoing some renovation. It's bigger now.

Love love love the tom yam soup! Tom yam soup had this curry mixture and it wasn't that spicy. The chicken soup not so great. Very refreshing.

The ONLY thing that gets to me gotta be the flies! OMG! You can't imagine how many flies they have there. Must not let it get on my nerves.

It was 1pm when we finish our meal. Went to Kg. Luanti at Ranau for the fish massage thing. I blogged about this few years back too. Dad said there's three (3) location that has this but only 1 is maintained and got entrance fee. We went to the other two (2) which is further. But we can't see any fish there.

There sure a lot of weddings around on that day.

The second location is a private own land. Sure lotsa durian there. But the owner don't wanna sell it to us. He said not ripe yet. That dood has some serious armpit hair issues! GO SHAVE DOOD! OMG =_="""

The third place is the place we went before last few years back. Can't remember how much for entrance fee but if full body massage is RM10.

Since can't take photo of fish massage, take photo of everything else. lulz.

Since all of those place are closed due to rain. We head back to check into the hotel. But dad kept saying that he wanted to go to the Ranau P.O.W Memorial (some info about it I found here). We saw the signboard the first time and u-turned, didn't know it was near the church.

The only shot my bro took of the signboard. Too over exposed. Fixed it with photoshop *sweat.

I notice there's not many online sites about this.

Went to check in around 4pm. And it's still drizzling. We check in at Mount Kinabalu Heritage, formerly known as Perkasa Hotel. This place looks really nice now. All renovated and looks very new. Wifi available only at the ground floor.

Went up to the 6th floor to leave our bags. Dad need his sleep, actually he thought he could online from his room but wifi ONLY available on the ground floor.

Went dinner at Zen Garden Resort at 7pm. We sort of got a bit lost to the restaurant. Walk there is gewd exercise if you ask me.

For those who worried if the place serves halal fewd or not. Don't worry. HALAL! Got halal sign ;) Not sure wut's the rates there. Always fully booked. And I notice the place is nice and big.

After dinner, walk back up to the car. Lack stamina that's for sure and I'm stuffed from all that eating.

The bad part was waking up around midnite orz. Thank gawd for sucky mobile internet connection, I'm able to connect for awhile and I was on till 2:30am till my mum woke up and watch tv. LOL. That was funny. I was having a hard time sleeping till it was almost 6am then only I start snoozing like a baby orz.

The room next to us is noisy. I couldn't sleep anymore till it was 7am. orz.

Anyways, how does one make salsa?

Here's a youtube video, my bro use this method to make em.

Anyways, this is his second (2nd) time making em. I thought the first try was better eventhough it was slightly watery the first time. This one too much chili. Taste a bit bitter but still great.

Cosplay Outing @ 1 Borneo

In conjunction with Comic Fiesta, we, the ones who can't go decided to have a Cosplay Outing here in K.K. last Saturday.

Time for meet up was at 11am onwards. Sabah time. I reach there around noon. My house is not that near to that place but it's not as far either. Lets just say I could reach there in half an hour time. Met the rest at McDonalds. Had brunch there. I actually wanted double cheeseburger but since I can't take much beef especially when I need to walk around A LOT, I decided to go with the chicken burger instead. Too bad 1 Borneo doesn't have breakfast meals. I could use a hash brown.

Went to the cinema to get tickets coz most of us wanted to watch Avatar. The show was at 2:50pm. I actually don't wanna watch it coz it reminded me of one of the southpark episodes, Dances with Smurfs, which in this case is bad. A little advice, please do not, I repeat DO NOT! watch that particular episode if you planning to watch Avatar. Maybe after you watch that Avatar movie. Or you'll end up getting flashbacks of it when watching the actual Avatar movie.

Tickets were settled (I think there's more than 10 of us), we went to Daiso. Oh, the floor were fixed. I still want those wood miniatures. When will they sell chairs! Gawddammit. We were there for awhile and went to the arcade to "kill time".

I really really really wanted to play Air Hockey. Why they haven't fix the machine yet? *sigh.

After that whole fun games thing, we went to the cinema, it was 5 mins to 2:50pm. After I think more than 2 hours, we went to the ground floor for group photo. But before I get to that part, lets just say that Avatar could be a great movie, except the part that I've already watch southpark before and I thought the Pandora (the world) is AWESOME! Except the creepy creatures @_@""" Those are awesome too, but creepy.

Oh yeah, lets not spoil for those who haven't watch it. Next was yeah group photo.

Trying to gather everyone is not farnie. Once awhile there's missing person. But we manage to gather everyone after er few minutes.

Went to Arena at Citymall after dinner. Reached Citymall at around 8pm. For what? Left 4 Dead 2 mwahahahha. Finally!!!! Uber fun!

Wait, did I play it for 2 times already ka? Why does it feel like 3 times? weird.

1 more map to go. Right? Oh, the luk luk at Lintas is nice. It's located at the parking space near Fruit Monster area. Want!!! But not everyday of coz.

Overall it was a fun and tiring outing. And I'm sleepy now. Aight, happy reading! Oh yeah, I just remember that I didn't post images of my figures yet. I'll do that some other time. Good nite.

HobbyCon 2009 The Aftermath

So I thought, maybe, just maybe I should totally skip this post coz I got two (2) other post to work on. I have been lazy with the holiday season approaching.

Or I should combine all three (3) post, I wonder. Nahh~ I guess not. It'd be totally messed up if I did that. Anyways, lets recall what happened.

I'm a week late. For this post. Sorry 'bout that. It took me almost a week to finish upload the photos. I didn't upload all though. I'd be crazy if I do that. Imagine 700++ shots for two (2) days cut to 322 photos? I think, if I calculate it correctly.

Day 1,

We have Danbo made out of boxes by aks.

I've ordered amazon.jp danbo but it came in too late. If not, there will be shots of em together. But, you can read about my post about those version of danbo at my figure photos blog, here.

This year, we got some new booth.

I had my session on the second day. Ehem~ it's between me, him and god, am not gonna tell anyone about it hur hur hur.

Halal Dim Sum

We know for a fact that most of the Dim Sum places in KK are non-halal. I only know certain place that sells halal dim sum and this includes this place that my brother told me about near the Inanam Bus Terminal, is a place called Wan Malaysia (corner shop). There used to be a halal dim sum place at Kolombong Giant fewd court, but I don't know what happen to it.

Today, my bro decides to bring mum and tag along massy to that mentioned dim sum place.

Oh yeah, parking could sometimes be a problem during working hours.

What's on the menu? Seven (7) types of chicken-based dim sum. Yeap, no seafood.

The seven includes, chicken feet (kai kiok). It's selling at RM3 each.

There's two (2) other which is curry dumpling and steamed chicken which is not available today.

Lunch?

Since fewd is a problem at my current work place, I decided to make my own.

This is my lunch for the last 2 days. I wanna see how long I can take it till I get bored of it, like the time when I had vegetarian brunch or instant noodles almost everyday. Lets just hope this healthy meal will last. IT was carrots and chicken burger yesterday, today's menu is carrots and french bean, or maybe additional salad?

I seriously don't lose any weight from thinking about it too much LOL.

Anyways, November has been tense for me. I'm guessing it's bad feng shui. I'm tense all the time and I don't like it coz it's affecting everyone else. I apologize for my behavior. I need to be quarantined from everyone else. I can't handle noise well, reason why I spend most of the time in my room. It's peaceful there, me and my music ;)

Belated birthday party / outing.

Mastermind = fallenone. I remember he told me about the present months before. But the plan for this party was quite last minute hehehe. With the help from cubex of coz to gather CSPians. A total of 20 people came.

The idea was to sign a card and give the present. Who knows Nic added a cake? XD

Phew~ thank gawd I got the cake right hehe~ Everyone likes chocolate!

The plan:

Everyone gather before 7:30pm to sign the card. I was rushing to it coz I had to send my sis home first and shower etc.

Location: Upperstar Damai (my first time there hehe).

Outdoor (more than 5 tables combined?). Oh the lightning effects very nice but not farnie to be sitting outside. Scary.

I had Spaghetti Bolognese. A lot of sauce. Nice.

Watermelon juice was too sweet. I mean seriously sweet @_@"""

And I'm not the only one with the sweet drink. *sweat.

By 9pm, bring out the surprise cake! XD

Been contemplating about blogging this coz I didn't have too much photo to post but, I finally decided to blog about it on this rainy day coz I wanted to show you guys the wonderful fewd we had last Thursday.

Yes, you heard that right. Last Thursday was the dinner. I'll just post photos aight.

Dinner was at Equatorial Restaurant at Tg. Aru Plaza. I never been there. Lucky for me, my brother drove us there hehe. I'm such a lazy arse.

I wore one of my maxi dress that I bought online.

Yar, this is one of those rare occasion that massy descided to wear dress hmm. Somehow I look slim here. Tipu! I am not that slim orz.

Dinner is served around 8pm. I think.

The Little Nyonya

I know I'm a bit late in watching this chinese drama series, I just have to blog about it. Who knows there's others like me (those who didn't watch it *cough cough). The first time I watch it was on NTV7 (it was episode 11 mind you) and I couldn't move till I'm done with it. Interesting storyline. This TV series is produced by MediaCorp and was aired last year November.

Colleague told me that it was on astro last year ;_; why I didn't know about it de?

Since I couldn't wait for the episode on NTV7 and wanted to watch it from the beginning, I end up watching it nonstop on youtube (click here, full episode) for 3 days. There's obviously some pausing moment coz I have to sleep, eat and go to work. I have a life, hello?

Oh yeah and there's a total of 34 episodes. I'm not gonna put any spoiler or anything. Just watch it! It's worth to watch. (though I hate the ending).

Weekend DIY Project: Camera "Box" Pouch?

I've been wanting to sew something but I tend to laze around and watch tv every other weekend too. This week was different, I was motivated. ;3 kana sama.

Since my current camera pouch (for the PNS camera looks fugly, gawd, sometimes I'm embarrassed by the looks of it that I decided to make one today).

Anyways, lets get started. Tried to draft my pouch and try to imagine it as a box. Could roughly see how my pouch gonna look like. Phail. Then, I took an A4 paper and try to fold it into what I think it should look like, quite successful in making it with paper. And I'd referred some photos from Project by Jane, click here. Written instruction seriously doesn't help. I'm too lazy to read. So, I decided to go with the flow and try to make it my own way. Trial and error.

Aight, so first, I lay an A4 paper (I'd measured the camera for a rough estimation of how big the camera would be but an A4 paper worked), cut two (2) different cloth, in this case, the red hippo design that I bought online ;) (so cute) and for the inner layer, I'd use a blue polka dot cloth I bought from Kamdar (Kamdar is your friend). And since I need protection for the camera, I'd added sponge. Now, of course you can't forget the zipper. 7 inch ones is enough in this case.

Next, I'd cut the hippo printed cloth into two (2) cause I didn't want it to look like it went through a loop and look weird (of course if you have a single design you can skip all those cutting it into half part). Sew the edges and attach it to the zipper (shown as photos below).

It looked something like this.

Once I'm done with that, I took the blue polka dot cloth and sew the sponge together. This is to prevent the sponge from moving around LOL.

Then I attached it to the sewn hippo cloth, should look something like this (as shown below).

Done with this part. Look, can make it as arm cover :) *giggles.

Last minute changes to the pouch, I add a strap holder. I think it's easier to hold in this case.

It was tricky fixing it to the pouch. Oh yeah, that ended my session with the sewing machine. I hand sew the rest. I was gonna sew it the way the tutorial had shown but it doesn't seem to work, lets just say after that whole arm cover thing, I had been sewing and taking it off coz my brain stop functioning at that time. It was 2am btw.

I'd continue my sewing today after lunch. And this time my mind was clear. Had to took off the sewing I did the night before and started folding it. It looked like a pencil case. I'd ironed it, and folding it in so that it'll look neat. In this case, I got tired and almost give up and it really shows in the way I sewn it. *procrastinating.

Thank gawd, I finish one side, it should be folded like this.

Once done, I fold it in a triangle shape and attach it to the outer layer. and cover it up.

I did the same for the other end.

FINALLY!!! I finished it! ;)

And this is the final product. Cute no? ;)

Hang it.

I'm very satisfied but I need to sew the other side just in case. Soon.

The Chicken Incident

For those who knew about this (refresh memory), I plurk-ed about this last 26th October 2009.

Lets start from the beginning.

On 26th October 2009, I received an sms from my sis about how her colleague found a slaughtered half dead chicken (with blood on the floor) at the entrance of their office. Didn't know what to do, they called the police and reported the incident. The police came slightly after and found footage for the incident caught on a cctv from the shop next door.

From wut I heard from my sis, lemme see if I could remember the story correctly. The police and the colleague watch the recorded video saw an old car "cruising" around the parking lot till on the third (3rd) round, they pulled over. A man came out of the car, look around, slaughtered the poor chicken and threw it into the main entrance of the office and left. Now what that fellow didn't know, the cctv was just right on top of his head (I lol-ed hard when I hear this part). Funny idiot. Too bad I didn't manage to get the footage, it'd be listed as "retard caught on camera in Sabah".

But, uh oh, this is fun. I got photos of the half dead chicken :) hehehe. I'll just post 3 of them, so....

Hmm, what puzzles is nobody from that company knows why the culprit did this. Hmm. Is this a ritual to perform a curse? No idea. But it's seriously farnie.

Sabahan Bloggers Gathering 2009

Lets start off with my morning. Went breakfast with my bro at Kedai Kopi Janggut coz both of us were craving for Fish Mee and fried foo chuk.

Went home and watch tv. Lets just say that I was contemplating and complaining about how I didn't wanna go. I think it's the bad weather. And since it was my first time putting on wig for few hours, I was trying em out since 2pm. Lets just say that my bro, cube, had to listen to me whining all day long. In the end I settled for my blonde wig.

Oh, to add to that whole complaining whole day thinggie, I also had problems deciding which camera to bring. I end up having both my PNS and DSLR with me. But guess what? I didn't use my DSLR, it was left sleeping in the bag whole night LOL.

I've psych myself out that I must keep it on whole night. Lets just say that I was expecting aircond. Followed cube's car coz I was too lazy to drive. We were there around 6pm and my bro and the others were getting ready at the parking lot. A car parked next to us and this family asked if they could take photo with my brother and dori.

By 6:30pm, we went up to the 10th floor. Here's the funny part, we went up till 8th floor, and went back down to 3rd. Yeah, coz most of us can't remember the details. I just remember that registration at 6:30pm and event at the rooftop. Was in the lift with Joan but I didn't know it was her till we were inside.

SBG this year's decoration was awesome. Lets just say it was dark.

Met Lorna and Margaret. These two (2) sure did lotsa mingling that nite ;)

Oh and I was screaming for help coz it was so hot (this started the headache). Why? The fan weren't turned on. Try to imagine how'd my bro feel in his werewolf costume? He was sweating. I mean serious sweating going on there. Thank gawd Dino came to the rescue! Thanks a bunch dood! Oh and the sad part was, he didn't get to get his fewd till everyone get theirs coz moving around in his 4 to 5 inch shoe is a bit hard. Me and his Irene were all paranoid when he got up the stairs with it.

I think there's something wrong with the sound system. Sometimes it's too loud, sometimes I can't hear clearly. Like during Roger Wang's performance, it was too loud that it sound annoying at times. I was disappointed that during Sasuka's performance, I couldn't hear shite =_=""". Maybe I turned deaf for a moment there. Hmmm just maybe.

Don't get me started with the numbers of camera flashes flashing. Eyes were badly affected. @_@""" One could seriously vomit blood.

Here's the nomination for best costume voted by the crowd. Throat got all sore from all the screaming.

My bro won the PS2 with guitar. Etto~ but where is the game ah? (totally killed the excitement, thought wanna play when reach home but no game, can't play) Two (2) ps2 at home now. LOL. Alar I want a Wii. Anybody wanna sponsor Wii? XD

Here's my bro's costume that he worked on for a month, click here. Glue failed on him. I think it's all the sweat LOL. He should have sewn it ;)

Aight enuff of that. I don't remember what time the event ended but I know there were lotsa waiting at the parking lot and we went to yamchar at BK Putatan coz cube got really hungry. I had blackcurrant and I think I yapped a lot again coz I got a terrible headache. Yes, I yap to release stress.

Sorry cube for having to put up with my yapping whole day LOL. See, when I'm having second thoughts on something, dun make me do things I don't want. It's damaging.

Sorry took me awhile to blog. I'm still having problems with the computer at work. It's too frigging slow. There's lotsa things I can't do with that computer. So, I'm requesting a new one. A faster one. I also need one for myself at home. But, yes there's always a but to everything, money, I spent a lil too much on nendoroids. *cough cough.

Perro Loco, a new place located at Star City North (formerly known as Kompleks Asia City) ground floor. It's actually facing Chung Hwa school. This place sells South American hot dogs! Ogie, maybe not just hot dogs but most of them are. I've actually blogged about the fewds in my previous posts (here), but didn't make any intro wutsoever yet.

This place officially open a month ago. I missed out during the opening coz uncle *roll eyes, invited me at the very last minute and being sleepy at that time, I couldn't give an answer, hence said I can't make it. LOL.

But, since the past month, I've been going there, I won't say often but enough to try five (5) different fewd. Oh yeah, the owner of this place is uncle's sister and her husband.

Ogie, here's the situation. The computer at work been having some problems that I couldn't access my blogger and gmail. Wait, I can view but I can't comment or post anything. Weirdness.

I've been wondering why 4mbps line is uber slow? *confused. Pay so much but it's worst than 1mbps. How odd.

On another note, nothing much happen, except the fact that I did a lot of driving this past week. I mean seriously a lot that I'm getting tired from it. It must be the U-turn! (*blames) and the fewd! (*more blaming).

I'm back on my jogging routine. Must push myself coz friend said I look fat. Bad! Very bad.

Oh, I went to meet an ex colleague today. It's been months since we hang out. Oh and I got my first McD glass thinggie. Of coz I had to take blue ;) Besides, it's free. One can't reject free fewd now could we?

Went and bought some scented candles. And these (for the candles), *blames fren for impulse buying.
