The day When the media will stop being anti Israel biased

1) When there is an account of every single Arab Muslim terrorism.

2) When Israeli victims of terror will turn to human from being "tanks" in media's dehumanization.

3) When the (BBC, NPR, etc.) reporter will finally visit an Israeli hospital for a change.

4) When a rare (if/when) abuse by an Israeli soldier won't be overblown any more than that of any other westerner's case.

5) When those drama words, bigoted slurs (like: "apartheid", "racism") invented by Arabism, Palestinianism upon Israel's war on fascists' terror won't be used.

6) When it will remember to quote the source where it comes from, like a "Palestinian" point of view, stating it as such: "Palestinians" say, not reporting it as "facts", and use the phrase: "they say", as the media is always so careful to side it only on Israel's view.

7) When the tone won't be inflating the cult of 'Palestinian' victim hood, but reporting dry facts. Or the passion should be used on Israeli victims just as much.

8) No more "Palestinians" are the bigger picture, When the headlines are the repercussion of both sides, not a headline & main news crying on 'Palestinians' and in just small little details something about Israel as well.

9) When it will finally start mentioning the sacrifice democratic Israel is making in gestures to "Palestinian" Arabs & open borders on the expense of it's vital security, asides from it's humanitarian aid.

10) When it will report the racism, treason & danger from Arabs living inside Israel & it's establishment's incitement for Jihad, murder, hatred & terrorism.

11) No more unequal talk about 'equality', When it's worry for "equality" will finally be fair, it will talk about: "unequal" citizens, the Jews face so often in Israel's preferential treatment of it's Arab citizens as first class citizens like: access to holy sites, land issues &amp;amp;amp;amp;amp; benefits of not being obligated to serve in the army, etc.

12) When it will refrain from calling fear & worry for security as "racism".

13) When it will stop dancing around the real issue of the conflict, the seeds of hate, the 'Palestinian death cult' indoctrination & it's child abuse.

14) When it will talk about the 'lobby', no! not the one confined to merely one country alone, but the international one, the powerful one, the Goliath one, the one that uses it's oil & threats of terror, the one that occupies the UN & influences the EU, as well as Washington.

15) Calling a spade a spade, a 'Palestinian' that intentionally harms civilians - a "terrorist" not a mere "militant".

16) When it will refer to every checkpoint, be it at any international airport, shopping centers, stadiums, etc. the same way it refers to the ones in the Gaza/west bank, or vice versa.

17) When it will not let itself to be playing into the hands of radical 'Palestinians' & Hezbollah's use of human shields to make sure their kids die & pin it on Israel.

18) When talk will come about on the real racism & real apartheid, such as in "Palestine" ethnic cleansing of Jews, anti Christian apartheid, oppression of own people and on minorities, as well as on the entire Arab & Muslim world that practices such heinous crimes against humanity without any 'fighting terrorism' or 'self defense'.

19) When the most unfair image of "kids throwing stone" won't be shown unless explained about the adult 'Palestinian' gunmen behind them.

A United Nations anti-racism panel is once again examining the human rights records of various countries and Israel, of course, is being characterized as particularly malevolent.

Last week, Israel was before the committee to answer to allegations of discrimination against its Arab citizens in areas such as education and housing, and the disparities in incarceration rates between Jews and Arabs.

The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination also questioned Israel about accusations that the Jewish state doesn’t sufficiently protect sites considered holy by other religions.

This issue was prompted by a report to the committee by an Israel-based NGO called Adalah, which promotes the rights of Israeli Arabs.

Since 1948, about 250 non-Jewish places of worship have either been destroyed or made inaccessible because of neglect or security concerns, according to Adalah.

Some were razed because of development in the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv corridor and others have simply been left to crumble because of lack of funding, the NGO asserted.

“Jewish sites take high priority, Christian sites come second and Islamic sites a distant last,” Adalah declared.

The group also complained that tourism officials promote the city of Safed as the centre of Jewish mysticism or Kabbalah, even though the city also has a Muslim past.

Well, the Ottoman Empire is long gone and Israel is a Jewish country. It would be peculiar if it didn’t use Safed’s ancient link to the Kabbalah to draw visitors.

As for the destruction of non-Jewish places of worship, I suspect most were sacrificed for the sake of urbanization.

Racism likely played a part in the closure, conversion and neglect of some mosques and that’s unsettling. Israel also has a troubling history of discriminating against its Arab citizens.

But let’s keep things in perspective. All citizens of Israel have full civil and political rights, including freedom of religion. Israel isn’t perfect but it is at least striving to improve.

And Israel has the rule of law to keep the country on its toes. Elsewhere in the Middle East, however, it’s racism as usual – typically state-sanctioned.

In Saudia Arabia, for instance, all citizens must be Muslim and the public practice of other religions is banned.

Non-Muslims who gather in homes for religious practices are supposed to be protected. However, this right isn’t always respected, according to the U.S. Department of State’s 2006 International Religious Freedom Report.

In compensation cases, male Jews or Christians only get half of what male Muslims receive. Other men are granted one-sixteenth of the amount a Muslim gets.

And the government, which observes Sunni Islam, doesn’t finance the construction or maintenance of Shia mosques.

In Egypt, non-Muslims need a presidential decree to build churches and synagogues and the neighbouring Muslim community must give its approval.

The construction and repair of churches is typically delayed for years.

Israel’s missteps are mild in comparison, says Aurel Braun, professor of international relations at the University of Toronto.

“Among the tricks here,” he says, “is to set up a standard that no one can meet and then hold Israel alone to that standard.”

near Hevron, to squat on land 10 miles away that has been farmed by Jews for
10 years. Nearby residents of Beit Yatir, in the southern Hevron Hills,
protested on the property Friday, claiming that the presence of the Arabs
presents a danger to the area.

"Their tractors are unlicensed and they drive them on the roads at night
without lights," said a Yatir spokesman. Army officers who arrived on the
scene confirmed that the Arabs left their identity cards at a nearby
checkpoint because they had no permit to live on the grounds, but Civil Lands
officers later said temporary permission would be given until the dispute is
settled in the courts.

Apartheid or the greatest lie ever told?

Apartheid in South Africa was based on color separation. It was the whites (the “Europeans”)
versus the “non-Europeans” (Blacks, Coloreds [mixed race], Indians
Malays and Chinese). All suffered from the legalized deprivation decreed
by a South African government determined to impose white domination on
the rest.

It is manifestly clear that
Israel has no color problem of any kind. Israel has brought in some
70,000 Ethiopian Jews and plans to absorb 30,000 more. All, including
Circassian, Druze, Kurds, Armenians, Beduin and other non-Jewish

Israel’s
Arab citizens, some 20% of the population, have always enjoyed equal
voting rights. Eleven Arabs sit in Israel’s Knesset.

2.
Non-Europeans exclusively had to carry a “Pass Book”. (Identity
books were introduced for Europeans round about 1976.) Employers had to
sign the pass books monthly. Pass book infringements by blacks led to
jail sentences and often to deportation to the black homelands.

All citizens
and legal residents of Israel carry an identity card as required by law.

3. Job
Reservation laws kept non-Europeans from a wide range of jobs.

No
discrimination of this kind has ever existed in Israel’s democratic
Jewish State.

4. There was
free education for whites till matriculation. Not so for blacks whose
educational prowess was strictly limited by an oppressive Bantu
Education Act.

All school
going children in Israel are entitled to publicly subsidized education
till matriculation. No racial distinctions whatever are made.

5.Only one
university was established for Blacks in South Africa, at Fort Hare.

In addition
to several Arab universities which Israel established in the
predominantly Arab areas, Arab students may study at any university in
Israel.

6.
Black-white sex was a serious jail time crime. Sex detectives were even
employed to catch offending parties in flagrante delicto .

7. Medical
services for non-Europeans were both restricted and segregated.

Arab
citizens are members of all the major Medical Service Organizations and
benefit equally from government subsidized medical services.

8. Hospitals
were largely segregated or had segregated wards. White hospitals were on
a par with any in the western world. But black hospitals were under
funded, under staffed, and few. Ambulances were also segregated. A
"white" ambulance could not take a black to hospital.

Not the
Israeli way. Israeli Arabs get the full treatment in all State
hospitals.

9.
Non-Europeans “could not be employed in any of the skilled trades;
they cannot become engineers, accountants or pharmacists. . .. The Civil
Service is closed to non-Europeans, as are also the technical colleges
and most of the universities. They may not use the libraries, cinemas,
public transport, public conveniences, post offices . . ..” [From

everything in Israel which non-Europeans in South Africa could not.

10. For many
decades blacks had to observe a 9 p.m. curfew or face arrest, jail
sentences and deportation.

sport was allowed – by law.

No such law
ever in democratic Israel.

12. Parks
and recreational areas provided benches for people to rest. Benches were
painted with “Europeans Only” signs. I never saw a bench marked for
non-Europeans nor a park.

An
unimaginable insult in democratic Israel.

13.Non-Europeans
were not permitted to use the main entrance to buildings. They had to
use the “tradesmen’s” entrance at back.

An unheard
of apartheid stricture in democratic Israel.

14. Black
South Africans were given half the pension allocated to whites. They
were forbidden membership in trade unions (until the 1980s). Strikes
were banned and strikers severely repressed.

No such
discrimination in democratic Israel. Not only are pensions allocated
equally to all citizens but Arabs benefit fully from monthly child
allowances to parents of large families.

15.
Libraries, public swimming pools and beaches were racially segregated.
Even so there were practically no black pools or libraries.

No such
segregation in democratic Israel.

Even if that is so, to me it indicates an admission that they do not have a land. What are they to do in the mean time? Why can't they give them equal rights? Why can't they go to schools for free? Why can't they get the same jobs and pay as the person who was born and grew up the their same area? Where is that love, for that matter, where is that hate for for Israel that they use the Palestinian issue to justify?

Let's go to the refugees! First the Arab Governments starts with the scare tactics, then they take what ever they could from the United States and Israel and then they stick them in camps with deplorable living conditions. WHY? Why didn't they leave them alone in their homes?

Why did they promise them refuge and reward them with what are essentially prison camps? And most of all, why didn't they provide them with homes in the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan heights when they had control over them? Please do not say "Money". The Palestinian refugees receive aid from all over the world and yet, they don't seem to have a better living conditions. The "hosting" Governments siphons off some money into its' pockets and the Palestinian authority, or lack of it, siphons off the rest and as a result the poor deserving people get nothing

Who is Entitled to Gift Away Jewish National Rights? It is normal for a nation state to discriminate in favor of its own ethnic majority. For example, Israel is already discriminating in favor of Jews in its law of return. Similarly Germany favors in its laws ethnic Germans and facilitate their return and integration after absence from Germany of many generations, and nobody says that this discrimination is racist. On the other hand, millions of Turks live in Germany and neither them or their descendants have the German nationality and the right to vote in the national level, and this occurs when, in contrast to the analogous situation in Israel, Germany is not at war with Turkey.The situation is similar in Switzerland where for many years guest workers and their families find it very difficult to. get Swiss citizenship which is also made difficult by the fact that the local authority has to permit such a citizenship! 65 years ago on this day, Iraqi Arabs launched a Nazi-inspired two-day pogrom, the Farhud, which would anticipate the end of some 2,600 years of Jewish life in Iraq. Sephardic Holocaust Project grew out of an expansion of the earlier Farhud Recognition Project (FRP). The FRP was developed because while the entire world knew about the affects of the Holocaust in Central Europe, few knew it had extended outside of Europe. As an example of this, while most have heard of Kristallnacht, few had heard of the Farhud, where Arabs trained by the Nazis in Baghdad, killed, maimed and committed numerous atrocities against the Jewish population on the two days on the Jewish holiday of Shavuot in 1941. When we telephoned Holocaust centers around the country to initially discuss the Farhud, very few even had heard of it.

And here's something that will boggle the minds of you Israel haters. In the last United Nations vote on foreign aid, only 7 nations WORLDWIDE voted against the United States giving $3 billion to Israel. Only Micronesia got less votes against, with 0.

On the other hand... 78 nations voted against the United States giving financial aid to Lebanon. 67 nations voted against the United States giving financial aid to Jordan. 66 nations voted against the United States giving financial aid to Egypt.

and the list goes on...

Why so many votes against supporting countries like Lebanon, and so few votes against supporting a country like Israel?

So long as Israel believes it’s dependent on the U.S. for its survival, Washington will continue to mediate the Israel-Arab conflict to the disadvantage of the Jewish state.

American and Israeli politicians are ever saying that the shared moral values the U.S. and Israel is the basis of their friendly relationship. Ariel Sharon often said that his friendly relationship with President George W. Bush was Israel’s greatest strategic asset. No wonder Sharon repeatedly engaged in unilateral concessions to Israel’s Arab enemies! But this obviously renders Israelis servile and undermines the security of their country.

Now, contrary to conventional wisdom, Israel’s military and economic dependence on the U.S. is a myth. Some years ago Joseph Sisco, former Assistant Secretary of State, told Israeli author Shmuel Katz, “I want to assure you, Mr. Katz, that if we were not getting full value for our money, you would not get a cent from us.” American foreign policy-makers are pragmatists, not moralists. U.S. aid to Israel is animated by national self-interest—pious platitudes to the contrary notwithstanding. Israel is and has been America’s biggest strategic bargain.

According to Gen. George Keegan, former chief of U.S. Air Force Intelligence, while Israel annually received $1.8 billion in military grants from the U.S. between 1974-1990, Israeli aid to America was worth between $50-80 billion in intelligence, research and development savings, Soviet weapons systems captured and transferred to the Pentagon, and testing Soviet military doctrines up to 1990, when the USSR collapsed.

Moreover, the bulk of the $1.8 billion Israel currently receives in military aid must be spent in the U.S., where it provides jobs for an estimated 50,000 American workingmen. It should also be noted that Israel would not need this amount of military aid were it not for huge American arms sales to Saudi Arabia and Egypt. U.S. military aid to Israel creates a demand for, and the purchase of, tens of billions of dollars worth of U.S. weaponry by these and other Arab states.

American arms manufacturers have a vested interest in opposing any reduction of military aid to Israel—and so do their representatives in Congress. Directly and indirectly, Israel has enriched a welter of American corporations. For this reason alone, American congressmen, irrespective of their attitude toward Israel, will oppose cuts in military aid to the Jewish state. And as world leader in software and avionics, Israel has many corporate friends in the USA.

Mention should also be made of Israel’s medical research contribution to the U.S. And then there are the thousands of Israeli-educated engineers and scientists that live and work in the U.S. and have contributed countless billions of dollars to the American economy!

As for the $1.2 billion Israel receives from the U.S. in “economic” assistance, it does not go into building up Israel’s economy. Most of the money is used to repay pre-1974 loans for military hardware. It has been reduced by $120 million a year beginning in 1998, so that it is now negligible. By the way, Israeli economists across the political spectrum agree that U.S. aid to Israel has reduced the productivity of this country. Israel would have its own fighter aircraft were it not for myth of its dependence on the USA.

But now consider Israel’s strategic contribution to the U.S.
- Ever since 1971, when Israel first received significant amounts of aid from the U.S., the Jewish state has helped secure NATO’s southern flank.
- In 1970, at Washington’s behest, Israel prevented a Syrian invasion of Jordan. By protecting Jordan from this client of the former Soviet Union, Israel thwarted Moscow’s ambitions in the Middle East. (By the way, it would be naive to think that Russia has permanently abandoned its historic objectives in this region.)

Furthermore, Israel would not have been financially indebted to the U.S. had she not withdrawn from the Sinai. By so doing Israel lost a $17 billion infrastructure, including her most sophisticated air bases, as well as Israeli-developed oil fields which, by now, would have made the country energy-independent. Israel has had to spend more importing oil than she has thus far received in U.S. “economic” assistance. It was as if the United States beggared Israel to display American “charity.”

The question arises: What prevents Israel’s political leaders from telling the truth about this grotesque state of affairs? Do they fear the loss of $1.8 billion in military aid? Perhaps this was true in 1985, when Israel’s Gross Domestic Product was $24.5 billion. But today, when Israel’s GDP is almost $150 billion, the $1.8 billion is only 1.2% of its GDP. Given even a much smaller GDP, $1.8 billion can’t be deemed indispensable for Israel’s survival. Indeed, if Israel had a government that was not steeped in corruption, it could dispense with American “charity” entirely! All it would have to do is clamp down on tax-evasion. Or if the government granted a moratorium to big tax evaders and lowered taxes, this would increase capital investment and make Israel another Singapore!

But all this is known to Israeli politicians. If so, why do they perpetuate the myth of Israel’s dependence on the U.S.?

According to contemporary political science, the dominant motivation of politicians is the desire for power and prestige. (This is precisely how nine out of ten Israelis view Israeli politicians!) It follows that Israel’s ruling elites may have a personal interest in fostering the myth that their country’s survival depends on U.S. aid. This conclusion gains credence from the fact that no Israeli government has undertaken serious steps to liberate Israel from its supposed dependency.

Like other political elites, Israel’s want the people to feel dependent on the government. Influenced, no doubt, by Israel’s precarious situation, many people in this country want a strong leader, even if he is corrupt. Sharon exploited this tendency. As already mentioned, he repeatedly said that his friendly relationship with President Bush is Israel’s greatest strategic asset. This could not but make the people feel all the more dependent on Sharon himself. Stated another way: by fostering the myth of Israel’s dependence on the U.S., Israeli prime ministers can the more readily manipulate and control the people.

At the same time, the myth of Israel’s dependence on the U.S. is also used by Israeli prime ministers as an excuse for their caving in to American pressure.

All this substantiates what I have long called for—regime change. This will require the compete overhaul of Israel’s system of governance, beginning with democratizing the mode of electing the legislature; replacing the corrupt system of multi-cabinet government with a popularly elected president; and democratizing the method of appointing the Supreme Court. These democratic reforms will empower the people—the key to making Israel a truly independent and sovereign state—yes, and even a Jewish one!

1921 May 2, JAFFA (Eretz Israel)

1929 August 16, ERETZ ISRAEL

Although warned by the Zionist Executive that the Arabs were preparing to attack the Jews of Jerusalem with massive riots, High Commissioner Sir John Chancelor refused to cut his vacation short, declaring that relations between the two sides were improving. The day after the ninth of Av, after Friday prayers, two thousand Arabs attacked Jews praying at the Western Wall. One Jewish youth was stabbed in the back. The British Government refused to condemn the attack, leading the Arabs again to believe that the British supported their riots.

1929 August 23, ERETZ ISRAEL

Arabs began to riot throughout pre-state Israel after Moslem Friday prayers. The next day, the riots spread to Hebron where over 60 Jews were killed and over 50 injured. During the week of August 23-29, 113 Jews were killed and 339 wounded. As a result, Sir Walter Shaw headed a commission which urged the banning of Jewish immigration and absolved the Arabs and the Mufti of guilt. Another commission led by Sir John Simpson declared that the entire Zionist operation was unsound and undesirable. Both of these commissions were under the auspices of Lord Passfield, the British Colonial Secretary.

Arab headquarters called for a general strike and a rebellion against the Mandate in an effort to prevent Jewish immigration. Initially 80 Jews were murdered and 308 wounded. Riots took place on the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. Similar riots in Tripoli LYBIA left 120 Jews dead.
