WOW, What a wonderful Day. Grandma's little Angels (you know the ones with horns) and I had a wonderful day, shopping for gift exchange (A new tradition I have started to teach them the GIVING to OTHERS part of Christmas). The boys got girls to buy for so after we got past the Transformers and making them realize girls are not going to really like them, they did great. We spent 2 hours letting them look for girls gifts and had a lot of laughs and they were so proud to stand in line and tell the cashier about what they were doing and paying for it themselves (grab bags came with 10 gift card to spend on their name the draw). Then they were so proud to put the change in the red pail for Salvation Army Bell ringer, telling the guy to have a very Merry Christmas and why they wanted to help other during Christmas that don't have anything. (GRANDMA is VERY PROUD of their little BIG HEARTS)!

Then we had one more stop to make for them doing so well, A VISIT to SANTA! For the month of Dec Cocoa Village has a ICE skating rink step up in the riverside park, and on the weekend SANTA comes to the park to visit so Dusty and I took them, with our own camera and let them talk to Santa. After telling Santa what they would like, Mikey (and then of course Baby Javi followed up too) by asking Santa to not for get the kids that don't have anything so they can get a new toy too! WOW...my lesson of GIVING and THINKING of others really touch Mikey's heart. Baby JAVI is our kind and soft hearted one, so of course after hearing Mikey he did the same thing. TIMELESS memories for GRANDMA today! (IF they could only stay this age forever!)

OK...Grandma is tired out from my 12 hour day with my 3 little guys...which ended up with a new Christmas movie (new to them) The Grinch with Jim Carey. (PICs will be posted tomorrow)

Well, it is now Friday and I finally got my house cleaned. So I can play most of the rest of the weekend. I wanted to share another new hair do...for whose of you that was the first hair cut last week on facebook, you will understand why I am saying ANOTHER. I didn't like the first cut as it was nothing like I asked her to do, but I thought maybe it was my thick head of hair and I would give it a couple of washing myself and try to style it myself...everything just kept falling to my face..........so I found a couple more of the pics of the hair style and told her to go shorter and try again. Well I am finding out that she is great with coloring, trims or long hair styles but not so good with newer hair styles that are not straight and even. First I will show you what I wanted. (Twilight fav will know who she is)

Just a couple of things wrong here....top is still to long and she cut too much from the neck and I cut the small feather bangs as she said "No bangs". So I guess I will let it grow some and find a new stylist. So enough about this...LOL. Good thing my hair grows really fast.

Next someone had stopped by my blog and asked me if I had printed my card I made on the inside so I thought I would post a pic of what I printed on the inside....it was a freebie word art but for the life of me I can't find the folder so that I can give the gal credit....I am so sorry. But will come edit this when I do find it. It is so cute...I believe she is from Ginger Snap, but as I said I will look it up and edit this.

Now I also want to show you a layout I did last night with the kit Summer Driggs did for a special friend of hers...Here is the post that I got the kit from and wanted you to please read it and please find it in your heart to maybe donate a couple of dollars in return for the kit Summer made as a freebie for her called "Believe" . Well, today is my FRIDAY, WOO HOO! And it is really time to get my bunns in gear to finish up some digital Christmas Cards and gifts. So the next few days posts will be quick but when I can I will share what I am doing with you! I do have a couple of things I have been working on to show you.

First, I did get my side bar updated with our Days Gone By Posting Bonus....we have had a couple of people post already, which I really enjoy seeing your Christmas Past Layout! Remember that you are going to have a longer time this month to post, as we have extended it until Jan 15th 2010. I also added the daily links for my 12 days before Christmas links there as I will add each day there as well. That way I don't have to add all links each day here.

Second, I want to let you know that any of my live links for any of my freebies will be removed December 31, 2009! So if you have missed anything in the last little while you will still be able to download if you have the time to go through my posts to find them. As I am uploading the 12 days before Christmas I noticed I still have alot of links still there...wont clean out until then...OK?

Next I want to share a Quick pages I did for my sister. She had the cutest idea for pictures to make her Christmas Card and I used one of the pic she sent me... Aren't they the cutest little bakers!

And I made this CD Insert and label for my good intentions of burning a DVD of all the layouts and special photos of our family gathering during 2009! I hope I get them done....biggest part of the project is going through all the photos we have taken this year....WOW I did realize how many I, alone, had taken. It is going to be a job! (this is what I will be working this next few days.) Wish me luck! Hopefully I will be more organized next year...LOL!

Day 3 of 12 days before Christmas Freebies!

Hi everyone. Well life just doesn't stop, the closer to Christmas, the most I am finding myself just too over whelmed! But I am sure almost all of you can relate. As my daughter and I was talking about tonight, having great expectations of what IT SHOULD be or how we think things should be is totally getting in the way of being happy during these days of preparing for what we want/think our holiday to be. So I think I have to start "keeping things REAL" and stop looking for more! . . . Well enough venting....

I did get a few pictures uploaded so that I can share my project with you...I found these from a newsletter, sorry can't remember which one, but they are the cutest match box printables. Made by Krisi's Kreations. Krisi made them with a kit by Man in the moon Designs called Tis the Season at Scrap Matters. She does amazing hybrid craft and I just had to make a few of them up. I did print and put together a couple of Krisi's and then used a wonderful freebie kit called "Believe" by Summer Driggs! But I am sorry Summer, I can't remember where I got my kit, but I love it....you did a wonderful job with it.

Well, I am still working on a few Christmas goodies and I haven't taken any pictures yet, but I found and making some cute matchbox candy boxes. They are turning out so cute...can't wait to share with you. Things got a little crazy this evening with one of my girls so I am just getting settled for the evening...so I will have to show you what goodies I am making tomorrow evening.

Well I am a little late at getting this posted, but Holiday rush has already hit my household or something as it seems like I just don't have enough time in a day anymore....so here's the deal. We know that things are going to get a little crazy for everyone, so I have decided to keep this challenge very SIMPLE...as the TITLE says, *Christmas Past* we would like to see ANYTHING from your past Christmas Holidays. I would love to see things from your childhood,but as I said, "Lets just keep it simple."

We are going to run this Challenge into the mid of January 2010 as I know that it is a very busy time for everyone, which will give us all time to post our layouts and for Linda and I to get a January Posting gift together for you. So we are going run this one until January 15, 2010.

Hi everyone, just a quick post for a update of what is coming this next week in My Digital World…

First I would like to share a couple of things with you.

New Release .....From Charlie

Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know that I have been working on a couple of project for the holidays coming up and I used a wonderful new kit that Charlie's DigiScraps just put in her store. And before I get started explaining what I am posting here, I want you to know that I will be back to designing and will have two Christmas Blog train ready for you next month, but also have a couple things coming up for you before that as I only have 175 pages left in finishing up on the Twilight series....Breaking Dawn. This one was almost double of the other three, but I just can't put them down. The girls and I are going together for the opening night to see "New MOON"...Girls NIGHT...I am sure that I will be a couple of days cleaning house, but after that I will be in full design mode to GETTER done!

This one is also for his grandma, this is one of my favorite pictures of him with my daughter.

They both lived in Michigan at the time. I was about 3 months old and living in Santa Ana, CA. So I am so thankful for the very important ladies in my life. They were or are still a GREAT inspiration in my life. So without say, they are what I am most thankful for. And below I would like to share this as a quick page with you. Month Blog Challenge with Snowsmoon and Bon Scrapatit

Good morning and look at the wonderful surprise I woke up to! I was on a Grandma's Date last night with Xander and Grandma Eldona and was just to tired from a VERY Exhausting day to say the least. But after a good nights sleep it is onward and upward....Linda got her posting gift ready for us. WOO HOO and what a Beautiful one to say the least.

Here is a brief description of our Novemeber's challenge.
It is a simple but very meaning full. Linda and I would like to challenge you this month to scrap a VERY special time of thankfulness in your life. Post it in our Gallery and check out what Linda has for us below.

Hello everyone out here in Scrapland...

This morning I would like to share a blog post I read this morning which is very near and dear to my heart as well. I have followed Hummie's blog for some time now, and would like you to read it so that you totally understand what and why I am blogging about a comment I left for her. First, I woulds like to say that my grammar is not great, and I am usually quick and to the point, not a very good writer so please bare with me as I try to reply/comment to your post as you are a gal from my own HEART. And have hit the nail on the head for something that is near and dear to my heart as well.

AMEN Sister...WOW if that doesn't get some attention, (and I mean that in a good way)as I see it is something I have felt and wanted to say for some time now.

I have spent 5 plus years in the digi world and seen many changes, good and bad, learned many awesome things by gals and blogs, forums and gallery's like yours. And as a blogger for almost 3 plus years now, I totally agree with what you are saying here. I, too, at the times have gone through your very same emotions 3 or 4 times during my life in the digi world. YOU GIVE AND GIVE AND GIVE...which on one hand is something that makes me feel good about myself so I keep doing in almost every aspect of my life BUT sometimes it is nice to be noticed for it.

I have made many good friends from surfing around scrapland, 5+ which came from the very first site I got heavily involved with and no matter what path our lives take us, we have try hard to keep up and support each other as much as we can, this is one of the things I am very very THANKFUL for. We keep each other on an up beat through thick and thin of what life throws at us. MY point is, is that without their support, I would of thrown in the towel long ago for this very same reason you have the ability of putting in kind but firm words here.

Yes, I have followed your blog for a long time. Have read most every post...and to be honest I am not sure I have commented many times at all, but if something hits me, like this has today, I do try to post a few kind words of thanks for your efforts. YOU are a great leader, AWESOME teacher and a SUPER GREAT Inspiration. Please accept my gratitude for ALL your efforts, including this AWAKE up call this morning. As my greatest teacher of life, next to my Mother, God says, "Do unto others as you would have them do onto YOU." Simple things like a few kind words, which by the way, cost nothing and/or takes only a fraction of the time to type as we put into whatever we are sharing on our blogs, forums and gallery's "DO MEAN A LOT TO US" no matter how little or short it is. Kindness and Thoughtfulness goes along way.

THANK YOU, HUMMIE from the bottom of my heart for reminding us that with little effort on our part, "Kindlness and Thoughtfulness goes along way with anything in life and these facts and matter no exception."

AND I would like to thank all my FOLLOWERS, leaders, fellow designers/bloggers and most of all MY Friends, "the Sisterhood of the Traveling DigiScrappers". Without you, I am almost sure I would not still be lingering around SCRAPLAND!

Happy Halloween!

This is my favorite holiday. It is so much fun dressing up, watching the children in costume of what they would like to be. I am going to be busy tonight with my 3 grandsons, getting dressed up and going trick or treating so I thought I would post now and hand out my TREATS to you now.

I have played around with Sassy OCT Grab Bag, I know it being the last day of the month but it has some awesome textures and a lot of this and that in it. So make sure you visit her store as I am sure you wont be disappointed.

Grandma duties call again....Band Fest 2009 for my oldest Grandson this afternoon and taking my 3 little guys with me and My #1 granddaughter, Brittany...LOL. (Inside joke).

Hi everyone,

Wow what a busy couple of weeks...it seems like every time I want to get back to scrapping and designing, someone in the family has something else going on. I have been to high school football games to see my grandson march in the band, JV basketball games where Brittany is cheer-leading and spending as much time with my "boys' as much as I can. BUT to be honest, I am so enjoying my family so much. Of course they are all sick of the camera being in their face but I tell them as long as I am keeping this up, I am gathering memories to preserve to future generation.....

OK, now down to business. Charlie's Digiscraps just released a new kit at Digiscrap Obsession today. What a super versatile kit this one is. I just downloaded it yesterday and did up one for Charlie last night and two more today. AWESOME job Charlie....I love this one a lot.

I know to some of you this is a day later than I said but we had just a few more things to make sure we had it all setup right for you. We now have our own Forum and Gallery which Linda aka Bon Scrapatit Design, Sarah aka Designs By Sassy and myself came together calling it SCRAPLAND EXPRESS. In order to keep the monthly challenge which Linda and I started last month going the Forum and Gallery are still under construction but We all hope that you join us in OCTOBER'S Challenge. Monthly Blog Challenge

This month's *DAYS GONE BY* challenge is for y'all to create a layout (one page, two-page spread OR more!) telling about one (or several) of your FAVORITE memories in celebrating the Autumn/Fall season! I realize that half of the world is now in their summer months, however, you can still scrap a FAVORITE Autumn/Fall memory with us!

A few ideas might include a Halloween carnival, trick-or-treating, a trip to the pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving, a Harvest celebration at church, a barn dance, raking leaves, a sports event, apple-picking and/or baking apple pies. How about a VERY special holiday and/or celebration in your community and/or country OR, perhaps, even a TRIP somewhere out-of-town or out of the country! Did you travel to see an area noted for it's BEAUTIFUL Autumn/Fall foliage? Surprise us!

Once you have completed your layout according to the GUIDELINES, upload you "masterpiece(s)" HERE and then return to this thread to post your link. If you need assistance in how to post your gallery link, see GUIDELINES.

Good morning everyone. Charlie's Digiscraps New Kit...... Up, Up and Away.

I have been visited with friends from out of town and one of them is a very close friend but is also one of my grandson's dad. We had a wonderful time sharing and spending time with Xander. Well, when I was trying to get back in the grove of things I checked out Charlie's Digiscraps new kit I had waiting for me to work with being on her creative team, and Her new kit was awesome to use for Xander tell his daddy good bye from the airport.

You can find her new kit in her store at DSO. Great job Charlie...very cute and loved working with it.
