Sightings of such living fish are rare cos they usually lives thousands of feet beneath the surface of the sea. It looks so... WEIRD!! This fish was spotted in Japan, on the 21st of January, 2007. it was transferred to a seawater pool BUT died hours later! They believe it may have been found because it was weakened or ill.<br /><br />This "living fossil" is believed to be joining its ancestors soon!
