What happened was that my blood sugar feel very low due to eating so little at the beginning of the week and then I had to eat a lot to get it back up. I noticed that while my blood sugar was low, I was unable to function as well meaning that I did not feel like doing so much exercise and I could not think very well and so got behind with my work. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Because of this I have decided to make some changes to what I am doing. I am going to eat two pieces of bread with my lunch instead of one. Yesterday I was out for the day and ate a lot of snacks in the evening including a chocolate bar and a packet of crisps. I did quite a lot of walking but not hill walking like I normally do and no exercise machine and my weight went down to 9 stone 9.8 pounds. I was a little disappointed but went into a shop to try on some dresses and realised how good my figure looked, which made me feel happy. My goal for next Monday is still 9 stone 7 pounds though so I will have to work hard again this week to get there. I had expected to do better but I did miss a lot of walks due to being home with my poorly son. Back to walking today though so that is good. I tried not to eat in front of him as I thought it was mean as he could not have anything. I ended up having his packed lunch for my lunch because I had already prepared it before he was ill and had a small portion of food for my evening meal by accident because I reduced the amount by too much. I went for a walk after my evening meal and did not overeat in the evening despite watching a cookery programme! I was not surprised because I treated myself to a wholemeal scone for my lunch. I will have to be careful today because I have a son at home from school and so will not be doing the school run and therefore will be missing out on quite a bit of exercise. It was not as low as I had hoped but I will keep working hard at it and hopefully will be able to get to 9 stone 10 pounds by this time next week. I was sensible yesterday and did two exercise sessions, one jogging and one cycling and some sit ups and ate well. Saturday brought a grocery shopping trip and a children's birthday party and an evening of low blood sugar but my weight was down to 9 stone 13 pounds this morning. I kept it healthy though and I think that really helped. I had chcolate cravigs this morning which I managed to ignore and they have gone away now. I am hungry though but have managed to just have porridge, a cereal bar, a carrot, a Quorn ham sandwich with cherry tomatoes, a banana and some fruit sweets. I will be careful when cooking our evening meal and try to pile up the low calorie veggies such as cabbage and carrots and hope that I will not snack too much this evening as I do not want to undo the good I have done so far. My weight is scarily up to 10 stone 0.8 pounds which is almost a stone heavier than I would like to be, I have been eating very unhealthily an dnot doing enough exercise. Having the boys at school full time means that I will now have the time to fit in a daily exercise session, will be walking a lot doing the school run twice a day and will not be out and about much being tempted to buy unhealthy foods. I would like to lose 2-3 pounds a week and that should mean that by Christmas I will be just over 9 stone and feeling and looking good! I have exercised more and eaten much more healthily. Instead of buying chocolate I have been buying smoothies and they have been great. I am feeling much better about myself and how I look because I am more toned and feel good as wlel as feeling better because my skin looks better. I did a couple of cycling workouts on the exercise machine as well as some crunchies and I can already feel the difference in my body becoming more firm, which is fantastic. I am eating better and my skin is looking healthier as well, which is great. I feel good today though as I did a good workout yesterday. I didn't do anything like a &lt;a href="http://my300workout.com/get-ripped/"&gt;300 workout&lt;/a&gt; but I did do two 30 minute sessions on the exercise bike burning 300 calories and almost flew up the hill to pick the boys up from school, partly becuse I was late but partly because I felt so energised, which was fantastic. I am not feeling quite so energised today but have not done much exercise yet, only a slow walk. I am hoping to start building up to doing more exercise, well more energetic exercise, perhaps not a &lt;a href="http://my300workout.com/get-ripped/"&gt;sparta workout&lt;/a&gt; but maybe a good jog on teh exercose machine. I was planning on doing one on Sunday but never got round to it. I am wondering whether, when the boys are on holiday, if I get up extra early and do a half an hour jog on the machine then, it will set me up for the day and make up for the fact that I will not be doing the school run. I can understand this to some extent in that people do discriminate about people because of their size, although I think that does not just apply to overweight people which is what this was all about, but also to those who are underweight and short or tall. I do think it is unfair if people are refused jobs because of it or if they are bullied because of it, but I think there is never any excuse for bullying or abuse whatever the cause. The part that I found concerning was that they were trying to copy a ruling which has been enforced in a state in the USA. In this state people can ask their doctors to not comment about their weight and not give them &lt;a href="http://www.diet-meals-recipes.com/2009/10/diet-advice-from-113-year-old-man.html"&gt;diet advice&lt;/a&gt; if they ask them not to. I think that this is not acceptable. Maybe if you are paying for your own health care it coudl be valid but in the UK healthcare is paid for by the state and it seems rather unfair that people who do not have a &lt;a href="http://www.diet-meals-recipes.com/2009/10/diet-advice-from-113-year-old-man.html"&gt;healthy diet&lt;/a&gt; can get free treatment and people who live a healthy lifestyle have to pay for it. Obviously it is not that simple and there are health problems, eating disorders and socio econmic factors which can also contribute to a person being overweight. I was a little disappointed. However, I know that I need to work hard because the boys break up form school on Wednesday and so I will be doing less exercise then because I will not be doing the school run. At the moment I want to work hard at it and have a good goal for losing wieght by. I woudl really like to be less than nine and half stone by halloween and I think that I can do it if I keep working at it. I must start working out a bit in the evenings as well as I know that I am not that fit and it would be great to have a healthier heart as well as being more toned. I did a few sit ups yesterday and I can feel the difference this morning and so I must keep that up as well. I have even been forgetting to weigh but I did remember this morning and was pleased that I had not put loads on, which was what I was expecting. My weight was actually 9 stone 12.2 pounds.
