Postponed again due to lack of available numbers, crysies!

Argh, I HATE doing this, but when I saw that a few people couldn't make it this evening, I just thought I'll have to postpone it to later this month. I'm sure it's a pain in the arse (especially for Stephen and Darragh), but I think you'll all agree that we couldn't really have a good discussion if less than five people were there.

SO this week, I will come up with a better date that people can make and then we will rock it. Again, sorry for the inconvenience, The Gum Thief awaits you all v soon!

Book-N-Supp #1

Will take place in the wine cellar @ Fallon & Byrne on Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 at 7pm on Monday 13th. The first ten people to add their names to the list will be attending.

Book-N-Supp postponed for a week

Yo, due to various commitments, Book-N-Supp will not be going ahead this Monday, but Monday 14th instead. Sorry for any inconvenience!

I've just been super busy, so have had to put it on hold. Just for a week though. After the weekend, I'll make another post where people can sign up for defo for the first Book-N-Supp meeting, and then it will be all systems go.

The first Book-N-Supp book will be The Gum Thief by Douglas Coupland.

Welcome to Book-N-Supp, a combined book and supper club run my me, Una.

The aim of Book-N-Supp is to gather people together to read books and then talk about them while eating good food and drinking good alcohol.

It is early stages, but I hope that Book-N-Supp will become a monthly meeting.

On the first Monday (because, Mondays suck in general) of every month, Book-N-Supp members will meet in a restaurant in Dublin and discuss the book that has been allocated for reading that month.

To register your interest in being part of Book-N-Supp, just leave a comment below, maybe to suggest a book or an eatery.

I hope to have the first meeting in January 2008.
