Hi Folks,

I've deliberately not posted because until I have more confidence, I don't feel qualified to comment in any significant way. The hope I talked of still stands but it is still based on talk. My silence reflects that from Steorn but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Work is being done and their showmanship has been tempered.

My feeling is that, after the non-demo, Sean and co have changed their approach to dealing with the public. The SPDC is an important element in their overall strategy but, frustrating as it is for everyone interested in Steorn, nothing will happen overnight. Lessons have been learned and I agree with the route the company (ie Sean et al) has explained in the SPDC.

As it stands - the outrageous claim apart - everything fits their words and this thing may yet turn out to be true. You will probably be able to guage my confidence by the frequency of my posts. If I become too sceptical I will not spend the time that others do on such a waste of space. That I still bother at all speaks volumes.

Paul if you aren't so certain Steorn's going to deliver anymore, then perhaps you should change that tag line from:

"A Personal View of the Coming Revolution"

to something more like

"A Personal View of a Promised Revolution"

It's just a thought.

In the meantime Steorn's morals and motives are a non-issue to anyone who does not give up something they value to Steorn's unfulfilled promises.

Like you, I don't believe Steorn is so evil or callous as to be running a scam.

My best guess is that they found an anomaly but have not been able to really exploit it. They probably have fragile devices that are slightly OU.

The rest of it is Sean being a salesman and, based on extrapolations of the little that they really do have, giving people the impression that they have robust OU.

Even a replicable anomaly, putting out a small bit of OU, would be a giant accomplishment, and I hope they will demo that if nothing else. It will open the door to further work and some day might lead to useable OU.
