IRON DUKE HEART ATTACK PROMOTION

With Valentines Day approaching fast, We have put together a special heart attack promotion!
The second February Promotion will be named Iron Duke Heart Attack.
There will be a daily freeroll tournament. Entry is gained through daily comp points earnings. Every qualifying player then receives a coupon entry to the daily Heart Breaker Tournament. The prize pool will be $500 per weekday and $1000 (per tournament) on Saturday and Sunday. On Valentines day we will make the prize pool $5,000. Players must achieve at least 4,000 comp points to gain eligibility for this tournament.

During the promotion the prize pool will be split down the middle. 50% of the pool will be paid according to the set up of a normal tournament structure. The remainder of the pool will be based on receiving hearts as hole cards, the top 5 players with the most consecutive hole cards as hearts win a percentage of the prize pool. I have had a back problem for many years now. At first it wasnt too bad. Just every now and then. When I went to the doctors, after 3 months, he said its due to having children,[ it all started after my second], and would most likely sort it self out. So I carried on but 3 months later it was not any better. So another trip to the doctors. He said if its still painful after 3 months come back. So another 3 months later, yes back to the docs. The doctor I usually see was not there, I saw a locum. He was a bit more helpful, and put me on some mild painkillers.

This went on for another 2 years. Going back and forth to doctors, it was getting so frequent the staff answering the phones know my voice. Final a new doctor started and I was luckly to see him. He was amazed that the problem wasnt investigated. Thats when the really fun started.
First blood tests then x-rays then more blood tests and even more x-rays.

Then after 7 years of tests and seeing several different specialist, it turned out to be Rheumtism. It has now got to the stage where the pain is constant and I am no longer able to work.

So if anyone suffering with a bad back, keep on to your doctor. Dont let them fob you of with pills after pills. Find out what is causing the pain. The other thing I found out was that I have one leg longer then the other. Normally this is not unusually but [of course] this as meant that my pelvis is at a angle and has made things a lot worse.

I expect you have heard lots of reasons about why to avoid slow playing: It's not advisable, because when you slow play, your opponent has a chance to make a bigger hand without too much expense. There's another reason to play your big hands quickly. Slow play can give your opposition a chance to fold a hand more easily than they would have if you would have bet big from the beginning. Lets say your in a late position and you were dealt10h 10d in a nlhe ring game.
A player raises in early position. The flop is Kh 10c 8h . You've hit your set and, with the king on the board, chances are your opponent has something good could be A-K, maybe pocket Kings or jacks.So he bets the flop and you start rubbing your hands together
Most players will just call,but a raise is usually the best option. If you just call, you risk seeing a heart on the turn. I don't think you need to be worried about the flush beating your set. Your set could easily be beaten even if you raise,but you do need to think about what a 3rd heart will have on your opposition. He/she might think that you could be on a flush draw and be willing to commit a lot of money to the pot, even if he/she has aces or kings.
If, any King, Jack, 10, 9 or a card that pairs the board your opposition will more than likely hesitate. If he/she bets on the turn and you raise, you're making a statement that the turn has helped you.You're announcing that you can beat one pair. If he/she bets the flop of and you raise, he's likely to think that you're bluffing or raising on a flush draw. At that point he/she might feel an all in is the right thing to do,then you can take down a monster pot.
There are some times when slow playing is the best OPTION. I mean if you were to hit a boat or quads on the flop then you will want to give your opposition a chance to bet otherwise you might scare them off and make nothing from your monster hand.
