Last night while getting ready for bed this was sitting on my vanity...
As I crawled into bed I asked "Is that the check you want me to take to the bank?" Hubby replied, "Yes, apparently my wife was being overzealous in her laundry efforts tonight." The check was in the pants he Tanna Clarkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12392182128825392242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315480796227060490.post-11608541924068403772008-07-21T21:55:00.007-05:002008-07-21T22:46:42.900-05:00Monday's Motivation: Dream BigIt is never to late to be what you might have been.

This quote reminds me of The Bucket List. We watched it this weekend. It was so inspiring! Do you have a list of goals, dreams and accomplishments you would like to make? Don't wait until it's too late! Start making your list today. Where do you see yourself 5, 10 or even 15 years from now? I received an email this morning informing subscribers of the "cessation of publication of Organize Magazine." How sad to see it go. I was looking forward to spending many years drooling over a publication geared Tanna Clarkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12392182128825392242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315480796227060490.post-23471409146083022372008-07-18T17:11:00.003-05:002008-07-18T17:22:40.344-05:00Potting BenchWhat a lovely idea featured in the June issue of Country Home magazine! Here are the directions to make your own potting bench using an unfinished farm table and chain link fence:
1. Assemble the table. Prime and then paint it and the galvanized gate.
2. Match the center of the gate to the tabletop; mark the center of each gate post 1 1/2 inches from the table’s back edge. I have always wanted a little reading nook with a big comfy chair. I would especially like a wingback chair like this one. Pottery Barn is sporting some new graphic prints and I am loving them!
Unfortunately, these days it seems if I get too comfy while reading I fall asleep!

I am still here I promise. This summer has proven hectic so far, but in a good way. I have been blessed with several new clients and tons of organizing fun has been had. Visit the Etsy shop Uncorked for an updated look on the old traditional cork board. I am not usually a huge fan of the cork board but this one I would hang. I especially love the attached glass test tube to hold the unused push pins!

He is not gone for good but for this family the backyard fun with him and Wyatt will be missed. Wyatt is his 20 month old Weimaraner. The kids loved going out back in the evenings to run around with Wyatt and hang out with our neighbor, "Mr. Aaron." So to honor our furry friend I wanted to share a few organizing ideas for man's best friend.

Ouch, I've been guilty of this one myself. You have your day planned out and somewhere, somehow you get off track. You spend a little too much time surfing the net, checking emails or get stuck on a couple of calls that are longer than ususal. The rest of the day is off and you feel like Tanna Clarkhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12392182128825392242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315480796227060490.post-77537745266890107502008-06-21T22:06:00.003-05:002008-06-21T22:32:28.451-05:00Traffic on Saturday? One of the benefits of my job is that for the most part I can plan sessions with clients in such a way that I can miss rush hour traffic. It's not your typical 9-5 job. I would probably be a very ill tempered person if I had to deal with major traffic every day. Driving through traffic in Nashville is no the worst but it has it's bad days.
Unfortunately today, a Saturday, I was not so lucky. For the most part I am not an antique person. I always say I want to check out some of the local antique shops but never quite make it there. Subconsciously I know I would be tempted to buy and really I just don't need anything especially when we are trying to downsize.
