This directive can be turned on in a few different ways, but the most common are either in the php.ini settings or in a .htaccess file. I've installed and I can't log in!Recently, a few folks have had trouble logging into PMM's NewsCMS after installation. The symptoms appear to be that one enters the correct credentials for authentication but no matter what you do it never works. The problem seems to be caused (in most cases) by a difference in MySQL versions. Later versions of PMM will have an installer Bill H.http://www.blogger.com/profile/11245075614082024776noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23121065.post-1147795917322538042006-05-16T09:04:00.000-07:002006-05-16T09:11:57.333-07:00Using the PMM Installer ScriptAt the sourceforge project site we have added an Ioncube install script for PMM: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/pmm-cms/pmm_installer_1.3.zip?downloadThis is the easiest way to install PMM on your site. There is one feature in the installer that might cause the upload to fail. The default setting for file uploading tries to open 5 ftp connections to your site. Many hosts limit ftp connectionsDale Hobsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13944539078439445007radio@ncpr.org0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23121065.post-1142449421952880532006-03-15T10:44:00.000-08:002006-03-15T11:06:19.526-08:00Missing Items in PMM DownloadIf you downloaded the PMM source code archive (pmm-cms_1.3.tar.gz) two empty but necessary folders are missing from the bundle. They are present in the zip archive of the download--(pmm-cms_1.3.zip). The missing folders are:/pmm-cms/NewsCMS/news/audio/pmm-cms/NewsCMS/news/imagesIf you have already installed the version that is missing these directories, you can correct the problem by creating Dale Hobsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13944539078439445007radio@ncpr.org1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23121065.post-1141432582518145792006-03-03T16:29:00.000-08:002006-03-03T16:36:22.526-08:00PMM 1.3 Release at SourceForgeThe open source audio news content management system Public Media Manager 1.3 is now available for download at the SourceForge project site.
