After months of putting this little project to the wayside I finally finished it. With the help of my dad (and his better tools) we were able to get the frame finished last month. Then it was just up to me to decide what to do with it. I wasn’t sure if I was going to stain it or paint it, in the end painting won out. Noah has definitely fallen in love with spaghetti! He just couldn’t get enough of it…which of course made the dog sad. Bryce has just recently taken an interest in reading at home. I have tried and tried to get him to read to me, but he never will, always saying that he doesn't know how. It is done! I finished Maddie’s bed and I am thrilled with the result! It took literally no time at all and I am definitely sold on the whole spray paint thing! I promised myself that I would take things slow this year. So I can’t work on the rest of the furniture until next month. We were at Sallie’s house this year for our annual Gingerbread House party. My parents neighbors the Atkins gave them the cutest kit and they were kind enough to let us build it. At Maddie’s school they are big into their music program. They constantly have them practicing their recorders and singing. Every Christmas the 9-12 class performs at a local Nursing Home. I offered to help drive so that I could see Maddie’s performance.
