Our pastor sprinkles water on the baby's head with his fingers.

Hope all is well with you!Jewelshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08244653679318435825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22628571.post-30220206955262650952008-01-21T01:00:00.000-05:002008-01-21T01:00:00.000-05:00We too went for the baptism of our friend's baby y...We too went for the baptism of our friend's baby yesterday evening :). She was such a sweet heart and never cried thro the entire service. I remember Tarun's baptism. fFrom the moment we stepped into church, he started crying.. he became silent only after the immersion in holy water..

Our baptism in the end involves the baby being dipped.. may b in 2 jug fulls water.. All churches have a small structure that can hold water, where the immersion takes place.. The baby is immersed sitting position almost .. and the water is taken by the priest and a cross is made on the head.. drip drip.. thats the end of the ceremony.

check out the structure i am talking about
http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=baptism&gbv=2

its like the 3rd pic on the page with the title ''Baptism of Beatrice Anna ''.
Our church also has a similar structure.

Is ur baptism also the same kind?Anoojahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10943321433193009759noreply@blogger.com
