A few of yz have expressed concern at the lack of new posts. The reason I haven't been posting is that I currently have no scanner or photoshop access. Posts will definitely resume in September at the latest, and sooner than that if I'm lucky.^^

Austin, Emma et al were drawing supervillains so I felt like doing one too.^^
EATGIRL-
Age- 23
Powers- Hyper-omnivory, invulnerability (because anything that goes into her body is absorbed without a trace)
Weaknesses- Blunt trauma, starvation
During a routine high school field trip to Dr. Axoneme's brand new supercollider, Dee Vower accidentally fell on top of a very small black hole. Instead of being sucked in, as a normal person* would be, she became fused with it.
For fear that the black hole within will absorb her, she now eats anything that wanders into her path--people, animals, cars, tanks, gym teachers, raisins, kryptonite, guns, and planetoids, which, once consumed, wind up in a dark and lonely parallel universe.
Motivated by survival, (with a touch of sadism,) Eatgirl has no plan, agenda, or ideological program. Several supervillain organizations have tried to recruit her without success.
She lives next to a landfill in New Jersey where her activities are unlikely to be noticed.

*Her father left when she was very young, but Dee's mother asserts that he was actually Radio, the Greek god of Radioactivity.

REAL QUICK- I might be running some ads on here for a little extra change. If they bother you, well, you're way too picky.

There are life drawing classes every day at Disney (including costumed models, hence the dude in the Zorro outfit)--pretty sweet! I'm going to try and go when I'm not busy. Practice is something you can never get enough of. Mostly I scanned these to show my folks (my dad is a pin-up painter, among other things) but I might as well post them here too.

My fourth day at Disney draws to a close...It's been really cool so far. A bunch of my friends are here and I've seen all kinds of amazing stuff. I also had to take a bunch of orientation classes, some of which didn't quite hold my interest.

Hairy Gods, Sweeney Todds, hallucinations and CJ7s

First, the Hairy Gods for the Cha Des challenge. (I feel that this is a fertile topic. I might do more.)

I really liked Sweeney Todd...um...except for that crappy tuneless pattering noodly music. Everything else was awesome. I tried to draw the main characters as fast as I could with no regard to construction or anything.=p

Hmm hmm.

This is the little critter from CJ7 (which, for those who haven't seen it, is sort of a Chinese working-class ET sort of thing by the nosebleed-inducingly brilliant Stephen Chow.) It's an alien toy-slash-dog thing.
