Now, having committed ourselves to following God's lead instead of inviting Him to join our plans, we've transitioned to a micro-church structure that's relying COMPLETELY on word-of-mouth. We're wrestling with how to do that best, with how to make the micro-church thing as "unchurchy" as possible (your principles are really helping me think and pray through this stuff). The results are cool--our people (all of whom are brand spankin' new Christians or preChristians) are thinking how they can "market" the church instead of relying on an advertising campaign that costs a ton of jack. Just yesterday, one of our ladies (who's homeless) brought an entire family from her shelter to the church in my house. They loved it. It was awesome. Definitely showing what God can do through someone he's changing.

Keep up the good work, dude.

Aaron Saufley
Discovery Christian ChurchAaronwww.myspace.com/churchforusnoreply@blogger.com
