But I love them! I don't want to take them back! I'm with you on the flip flops. Kind of funny that neither of us lives somewhere where we can wear flip flops all year round, huh?Amihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05612740302739047256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22470509.post-83056706403849368462008-05-15T13:46:00.000-08:002008-05-15T13:46:00.000-08:00I hate shoes. I would try to stretch just the edge of the shoe out a bit (How? I don't know.) and see if that helps. If it doesn't, I'd call the store and see how they feel about taking back a bloody shoe. All they can say is yes or no, right?

Good luck.artemisiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12048259618106957687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22470509.post-50839415258304514802008-05-14T06:58:00.000-08:002008-05-14T06:58:00.000-08:00Oooooh! Notably, he won this game playing on an injured ankle - the same injuries that contributed to his disastrous outing in Game 1 of the ALCS. These injuries were so acute that by the end of his performance that day his white sock was soaked with blood.

Read the full text next time! :)Chriswww.wikipedia.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22470509.post-55611202339667762022008-05-13T14:45:00.000-08:002008-05-13T14:45:00.000-08:00LOL, who is Curt Shilling and why am I the new him...LOL, who is Curt Shilling and why am I the new him? I know nothing about running, though, so I'm not going to say anything that would take away from what Tessie the Running Expert says up there.Jesshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15942269316108576622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22470509.post-38735414549866581082008-05-13T09:54:00.000-08:002008-05-13T09:54:00.000-08:00Oh, I so appreciate your input. I got some really good band aids for blisters and some "moleskin" last night, so we'll see if that helps.Amihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05612740302739047256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22470509.post-16245404657270979212008-05-13T05:13:00.000-08:002008-05-13T05:13:00.000-08:00If the shoes are just CHAFING, then that might go ...If the shoes are just CHAFING, then that might go away as they stretch out with wear. Definitely use bandaids or tape or something so you don't bleed though!

If the shoes make anything ELSE hurt, I would try downgrading to "no correcty" shoes, aka "cushioning" shoes made for people who don't pronate or underpronate at all. Like Saucony Grid 4 Trigons (I wear these) or Nike Pegasus.

There's a school of running thought(BORING) that says you should never try to alter your stride through shoe correction, no matter what. That's been my experience. I pronate but have never had good luck with correcting shoes. I always end up back with plain old cushioning shoes.

Hi, this is LONG!
