1. I have been in contact with Peter Kuper to contribute to the next World War 3 Illustrated. Which will be the first publication of my book 'War Song' in comic format.

2. This week the premiere of Rabid Rabbit #9 featuring 2 pages of my work is available.

3. At the Groundswell Mural Project I will be teaching mural painting, development and execution of the work. I begin in January 2009. Look out for my work along with my students across New York city walls, buildings and subways!

My final year at the MFAI program (SVA) so far has been tough. David Sandlin I do believe is just warming up. The program has turned me into an avid reader. Most of my time consists of reading the newspaper, a book a week along with school readings.

My thesis project will surely develop my style and understanding of who I am. The first image has been started and I will post soon with my new web site.

Also, this image 'DOOM' is a care free side project that allows me to experiment in collage and stamp. Check out my other 'Faux' screens throughout my blog.

Sorry to all that view my web-site and blog. I have been on hiatus due to the demands of the masters program at SVA. Not that I am taking it easy but I have a bunch load of scans to post online and hardly the time to do it. Over the past weekend I hurt my back pretty badly. I stayed in bed all weekend and still recovering.

My new web site will be up and running shortly. As for now I am posting my latest contribution to REBEL REBEL night at the Annex music club.

Rabid Rabbit # 9

I recently submitted two pages for the next issue of Rabid Rabbit # 9. The pages are under review.

I will post my drawings when the book debuts. This will be my first comic printed without scratchboard. The piece I created has a more fine art approach and influenced by my latest readings/research/theories.

Rabid Rabbit # 9 will be available for the month of October 2008.

I did a promo for Joey Nova, an events coordinator. This will be used as a promo card for the 'Rebel Rebel' night at (location to be announced soon).

I designed the 'Bowie' image with the Korean spelling of 'Bowie'. If you view quickly I see the word 'Hot'. Joey designed the 'Rebel Rebel' section.

This image is from my 'War Song' book I completed a few months ago. I decided to do some silkscreens for display.

Reworked in a single color silkscreen, I wanted a contrast from the colored version of the book to a gritty display on the wall.

I colored a piece for a good friend Robert Pollak. I've known him for quite a while and have colored many of his postcards.

This is the first illustration I had the freedom to color as I wish. I took a silkscreen approach to it and controlled my acidic nature.

The piece will possibly be published as a coloring book cover Robert is working on right now. Time will tell.
