I especially liked BP in it, and there were bits I did like. But every now and then I'd catch myself going, "Huh? What's this saying?"

Probably I was over-thinking it. Which says something as I can't stand Ange! But I think the both of them turn in likeable, funny, slick performances in this movie. I think the script is dry and clever and I really love it!
Maybe try again in six months and see if it has grown on you ;).
AllyAlly Blakehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17352564320902831489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22347819.post-50665710655559317722008-03-14T20:20:00.000-06:002008-03-14T20:20:00.000-06:00Jill, let me know what you think when you watch Mr...Jill, let me know what you think when you watch Mr and Mrs Smith again. My taste is all over the map. I can watch very low-brow stuff as long as I know that's what I'm getting. And I'd just seen Kal Penn in The Namesake, about which I should have written a blog as it was a much more memorable film than either Smith or Harold and Kumar. We're still working on H&K because the dvd stuck and stuck Anne McAllisterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04408045786951555625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22347819.post-9895397631923436132008-03-14T16:18:00.000-06:002008-03-14T16:18:00.000-06:00Hmmm, I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith with my husband at ...Hmmm, I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith with my husband at the theater. We both enjoyed it. I see what are you are saying about the connection b/t sex and violence, but I don't think I ever thought about it enough to see that. We own it and watch it occasionally. I will have to see what I think next time I watch it.

Harold and Kumar, well I liked it, but not only do I like "Mr. and Mrs. Jillhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15364220221782320521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22347819.post-1665661645366323852008-03-13T07:42:00.000-06:002008-03-13T07:42:00.000-06:00Ah, glad to see you all here. But I wanted to see the movie based on what I heard it was about (thinking there might be something worth seeing in the balance of marriage and mayhem). It was the personally directed violence that wasn't 'over the top' that bothered -- especially when it led to the bedroom (or the dining room table or Anne McAllisterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04408045786951555625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22347819.post-90985525915947314082008-03-13T02:34:00.000-06:002008-03-13T02:34:00.000-06:00I'm sorry that I didn't respond sooner. I didn't like it very much but, Hubby loved it. He seems to love movies with violence, and really stupid comedies. I like movies that have more of a feel good theme to them. I also like some action movies but, draw the line at movies with an Madelinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11627330376503258784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22347819.post-87596684279999439562008-03-13T02:22:00.000-06:002008-03-13T02:22:00.000-06:00Sorry Miss, I was paying attention - honest - but ...Sorry Miss, I was paying attention - honest - but I was paying attention to Santos, And I'm so relieved to see Michelle's comment.
