after buying records since 1986 i,ve finally gone and flogged the lot in one quick go a few hours ago. £700 to show for all those years may not be much to show but i,m happy enough and as i,m off on my holidays soon comes in real handy.could have got much more if i could be bothered with ebay but fuck that..i did keep my false liberty 7in to see how much it,ll go for just for the hell of it...still got more old hardcore than i can ever hear in a lifetime on cdr and the pc..

been trying to track down 10 NOTES ON A SUMMERS DAY and ACTS OF LOVE by one of my fav bands CR@SS,seems strange after all these years i,ve never heard either of them.

maybe not strange as i,ve always had a million and one records i,ve wanted and those two records from wot i can gather are nothing like the band i,ve grown up listening too ,top that off with being very closed minded as far as wot i would listen to and theres the reason for being months away from the big 40 and having no idea if i can listen to those discs all the way thru.

so if any of you pukebags can help me out with those records upload or point me in the right directon of any blogs who posted um that would be cool

fuck 1st track on acts of love started of ok but went downhill soon after.thou the actual vinle would be worth picking up as it contain some of gee,s cool artwork with each of the 50 poems.....

heres the poster fot the recent adolescents gig in newport, RIOT SQUAD also played and were fast as fuck and killer.just noticed thou on bottom of poster where the fuck was frank agnew,derek o,brain?lucky the adolescents were still cool anyhow .the kid who looked all of 16 on guitar had more energy than the rest of the band put together which made me think just our more cool the band would have been to see when they first started out all those years ago.but still a great sounding band and getting to see who made one of my all time fav records was really cool even if the agnews and casy royer were,nt there...

more early discharge inspired hardcore from the u.s mixed with fast american hardcore ,grand theft audio is a great label with a wicked roster of re-releases of old rare as shit hardcore,besides the demo you also get the lost lp along with some old live at cathay de grande/and re-union live stuff from 1992 etc..

BOLLOCKS TO THE GONADS HERES THE TESTICLES..was a comp put out by pax records in the early 80,s.thats where i first heard P.S.A from italy so when i saw this record on ebay a year ago just had to have it.seems to be a demo from 1982 and has mostly the same tracks in english on side one and then in italian on side two?also minus one track from the orig tape..
i,ll admit the tracks from the comp are the highlights but still a cool band all the same..not sure if it was on cd also but the vinle is hand numbered mines 351/500 so chances are all gone by now...well worth picking up if you see a copy

part of the bootleg lp 4 old 7in,s mines the second edition the first did have the cause for alarm single which was later replaced(with (cant remember which anymore but one of these) the mob..upset the system 7in/urban waste 7in/the abused..loud and clear 7in all of who are on the lp...i.ll post the abused single soon..the mob 7in i,m not too fussed on and the urban waste you can find anywhere,anyhow from 1983 ANTI-DOTE one of the best h/c singles period......note..shark attack did a cool antidote cover which is a great single/cd if you get chance to pick it up

I did have the 7in many years ago,but the fool i was swapped it,anyhow not long after i managed to get this one a lp version with radio interview and live radio show of madball(i,ve included the interview yer with the single).
as you prob know this version of madball was agnostic front with rogers 12 year old brother freddy on vocals.petty they did,nt stay with this older n/y/h/c style cos they would have been awesome....

Sadistic Exploits was an American hardcore punk band which existed in the early to mid-1980s. They released an EP titled Freedom in 1982. Inspired by UK anarchists Crass, the Philadelphia based band was formed in late 1980 in Southern New Jersey, during the formative years of Philly's hardcore punk scene.

Founding members Brian Lathrop, vocals, Pedrick, guitar, and Robbie, bass, were initially joined by drummer Miguel Gonzalez and hailed for incendiary live shows by local fanzines and WXPN radio jock Lee Paris. Is that the Arabian Knights singing christmas carols and whistling madly? Of course not silly, there's no such thing. It's just Bloodsport with David Bergeron leading the way nervously spitting out his John Kezdy-like vocals and assorted screams in rapid fire. The rest of the band sings the backup choruses. On these seven songs, and the six on their previous tape (two of which are here), they clearly have a similar style to the Effigies and Naked Raygun. they really develop their tunes and it's apparent because within each a lot is happening. The lyrics give you plenty to think about too. The drumming is very strong and the songs rise and fall, whipping you around as the breaks squeel and fast/tight guitar chords let out a shrill. On "Sixes and Sevens," it's really weird, but you can hear the pick on the guitar strings real loud. Bloodsport play music that can stand on its own.

Another lp i flogged years back thou luckly i managed to borrow it back from my mate and copy it to cdr.when looking for a scan of the cover i noticed another pressing with a shitload more tracks which was prob a cd from 94 i think...anyhow this sounds like the first FINAL CONFLICT lp they also made a even better single before this(AND AGAIN ANOTHER BANDS SINGLE I GOT TO HEAR ON JOHN PEEL. BLOKE USED TO PLAY SO WICKED PUNK/HARDCORE BACK THEN) which i,d love to get hold of..............ENJOY

Direct Action from Toronto, Ontario, started in the early 80s. Vocalist Tim and bassist Dave from the St. Catherines band the Unknowns joined up with Xig on guitar and Mike on drums. Their 1984 demo tape captures the band at their earlier, faster period(SCROLL DOWN THE POSTS FOR THE DEMO). One of the songs appeared on the Canadian compilation LP Primative Air-Raid. After the demo, Xig left and was replaced by Buzz from the Toronto band A.P.B. In 1985, Direct Action recorded and released their Trapped In A World LP. By this time, they had slowed down a little for a more heavy, polished sound.
