I believe it's people who smoke pot, just really smoke it allllll day long, and so they end up with this gross smokers' morning (and occasional afternoon) phlegm. A few of my neighbors and my friends' neighbors who have suffered this affliction have also been known pot-smokers. Don't feel sorry for him: he's not dying, he's just a stoner. You likely mean Apple computers or actual Apples. If it's computers, you're just jealous. If it is actual apples, then let me tell you, I once felt the same way, but my mouth has been opened. Since you live in LA, take a trip Wednesday to the downtown Santa Monica farmer's market, or find an actual farmer's market (you know, the kind with actual farmers). Try yourself a nice matte-finished pesticide/wax free Fuji apple, or whatever the farmer may recommend.
