And I do think the anti-spanking bill is useless, as there are already laws to punish ABUSIVE people who beat their children excessively (i.e. lashing out when they are angry, for no good reason. I think we have probably all witnessed that at some point). But, I wonder if NZ has worse kids now. Probably not. However, I do think it is a Pandora's box.
