Well, there it is. We need knife control. If people did not have knives, this murder simply would not have happened. In fact, we should immediately require a background check for anyone who wants to purchase a new knife. Not only that, but we should immediately start going from door to door looking for knives. Anyone with a knife in their home should either surrender it or, at the very least, obtain a permit for the knives.

Furthermore, knives with serrated edges should be banned altogether. After all, one could argue that some knives are necessary (though this author disagrees), but the serrated edge knives only serve one purpose: cutting. Who in their right mind would spread butter with a serrated knife.

And then, there are the especially evil 'black knives'. Throwing knives, so-called hunting knives, military style K-Bar knives, etc. These, should be outlawed all together. Hunting knives?!?! Come on! Who hunts with a knife.

Finally, for those who insist on having knives, we must make all knives childproof. After all, how many children cut themselves every year, senselessly, with a knife? Knives should have some sort of biometric device that would render the knife useless if it fell in to the wrong hands. Second, all knives must be traceable. Knives should be constructed in such a way as to be able to be traced back to the original purchaser. Of course, anyone who sells a knife, even if they are an individual who may only sell one knife in their lifetime, must conduct an exhaustive background check on the purchaser and maintain written documentation on who purchased the knife. We MUST close this knife-show loophole!

Yes, knife control is the answer! After all, the American population is simply too stupid to own knives.

Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall.

When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must Have stung quite a bit.

The complaint:

Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday, at precisely 9:11 A.M, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet. Imagine our good fortune! Do the Tom Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special?

Regarding 'A wake-up call from Luke's jets' On June 15, at precisely 9:12 a.m., a perfectly timed four- ship fly by of F-16s from the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt. Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial Day.

At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and friend. Based on the letter writer's recount of the fly by, and because of the jet noise, I'm sure you didn't hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of t aps, or my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son's flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured..

A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.

The letter writer asks, 'Who m do we thank for the morning air show? The 56th Fighter Wing will make the call for you, and forward your thanks to the widow and parents of Capt Fresques, and thank them for you, for it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their lives.

Only 2 defining forces have ever offered to die for you.....Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Obama has already targeted our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms with several proposed actions:

First, he wants to enact a ban on so-called 'assault weapons'. Really, the term 'assault weapons' is really one of many code words used to describe a semi-automatic rifle. These types of weapons, often mistakenly called 'automatics', fire one shot for each time the trigger is pulled. Obama and his anti-constitution nut-job friends want you to believe these semi-automatic weapons serve no purpose other than to spray bullets at every un-suspecting innocent person who may happen to be anywhere nearby. In actuality, Obama's statements regarding these semi-automatic weapons really only prove his absolute ignorance.
Obama wants to repeal the Tiahrt amendment. Basically, this amendment prohibits the release of gun sales and tracking information to anyone except a law-enforcement organization conducting an investigation into a crime with a legitimate warrant. Why do average citizens need access to gun purchase records? They do not!
Obama wants to force the private citizen to obtain background checks and conform to onorous record keeping requirements if they attempt to sell a firearm from their personal collection. Again, why does 'Big Brother' need to know the details of my personal property transactions.
Obama wants to make all guns 'childproof'. Again, this is a codeword. The real intent here is to put impractable, if not impossible, restrictions in place for the manufacturers of guns. These restrictions would render the weapons useless in self defence and cause the production and purchase price of guns to be so ridiclously expensive as to only allow the extremely rich to obtain a weapon.
Obama wants to force all ammunition to include tracking tags. Agian, this would cause the production of ammunition to either be prohibitively expensive, if not impossible to produce.
Obama wants to eliminate the use of certain metals in the production of ammunition. Hmm, let's make bullets out of silly-putty. That should be real useful.

Folks, there are enough gun-control laws on the books now. We do not need more. Instead, we should remove all of the gun-control laws (the laws that have no effect on the criminal anyway) and prosecute the people who break the law! If every potential murderer or rapist knew he would also face a quick, certain execution, murder in the US would stop.

Two last notes for those of you out there who think making death threats toward us is funny:

In the state we live in, it is legal and permissable to shoot through the door if you believe the person on the other side of the door will do you bodily hard.

In just a few hours, Obama will be sworn in as the President of the United States. If you have followed this blog for any length of time, you know that I disagree with the occupation of the office of the President of the United States by Obama on many different religious, financial, political, ideological and moral grounds. He not only lacks any real expierence as a leader or as a statesman, he is constitutionally unqualified.

Though I have many legitimate reasons to disagree with him, I could care less what the color of his skin is. Anyone, on either side, who voted in this past election based solely on the color of Obama's skin is a racist. Yes, there are as many racists who voted for him as there racists who voted against him. If you can say nothing else positive about me, you must admit that I can at least give you the reasons why I voted the way I did. There are many millions of people who have voted in this past election simply because Obama is a negro, who cannot accurately enunciate even one issue of this past election.

All of that said, though, I must admit that there is one aspect of this recent election that I have not mentioned, yet has throughly disgusted me: the blatent, overwhelming racism. Honestly, I have heard more racist remarks in the last six months than I have heard in all my life. Though I disagree with the morals and political stands of Obama, I can honestly say that the color of his skin means nothing to me. Sadly, I have encountered many, many people who cannot say the same thing.

This is a sad commentary on our society.

Obama team to 'negotiate' with hamas terrorists.

Over the last few days, I have watched as Israel finally responded to the attacks from the Muslim terrorists. Yes, after living in fear for too long, after facing numerous attacks from unguided missiles which only serve the purpose of terrorism, Israel is finally stepping up and defending itself. The world should stand up and applaud Israel for this action. The United States should have stepped up and helped defend Israel long ago. However, today, we have a closet Muslim who is about to take office, who is planning to 'negotiate' with these terrorists (link).

I fear that once Obama is actually in office, he will not only negotiate with the terrorists, but he will stand with them and their fellow Muslims in the UN and allow the Muslim campaign of terror to continue against Israel and Christians.

No one in their right mind can deny that the nation of Israel is God's chosen people. As a Christian nation, The United States of America has consistently recognized this and stood with Israel. This is one reason why the United States has been blessed by God. Today, however, we are on the cusp of the inauguration of a man who is a Muslim sympathizer and likely a closet Muslim himself.

We need to pray that God will change Obama's heart. Meanwhile, we need to flood Obama with letters showing him the will of the people of the United States - the will to stand with God and stand with Israel.

New Study Shows Direct Link Between Abortion and Mental Health Problems

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new research study featuring numerous controls and a national data set finds a link between abortion and psychiatric disorders. The study refutes the report the American Psychiatric Association released in August claiming abortion causes no mental health issues for women.
The research team found induced abortions result in increased risks for a myriad of mental health problems ranging from anxiety to depression to substance abuse disorders.

The number of cases of mental health issues rose by as much as 17 percent in women having abortions compared to those who didn't have one and the risks of each particular mental health problem rose as much as 145% for post-abortive women.

For 12 out of 15 of the mental health outcomes examined, a decision to have an abortion resulted in an elevated risk for women.

"Abortion was found to be related to an increased risk for a variety of mental health problems (panic attacks, panic disorder, agoraphobia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, major depression with and without hierarchy), and substance abuse disorders after statistical controls were instituted for a wide range of personal, situational, and demographic variables," they wrote.

"Calculation of population attributable risks indicated that abortion was implicated in between 4.3% and 16.6% of the incidence of these disorders," they concluded.

Dr. Priscilla Coleman, a professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green State University, led the research team that conducted the study.

Together with Catherine Coyle of Edgewood College, researcher Martha Shuping and psychologist Dr. Vincent Rue, they published their results online today at the Journal of Psychiatric Research, a well-established and respected journal.

The researchers found women who had abortions, compared with those who didn't had a 120% risk for alcohol abuse, with or without dependence, a 145% increased risk of alcohol dependence, 79% increased risk of drug abuse with or without dependence and a 126% increase in the risk of drug dependence.

For mood disorders, the experience of an abortion increased risk of developing bipolar disorder by 167%, major depression without hierarchy by 45% and major depression with hierarchy by 48%.

For anxiety disorders, there was a 111% increased risk for panic disorders, 44% increased risk for panic attacks, 59% increased risk for PTSD, 95% increased risk for agoraphobia with or without panic disorder and a 93% increased risk for agoraphobia without panic disorder.

There was no mental health outcome showing abortion to have decreased the risk or a high risk for women who did not have an abortion.

Some abortion advocates have dismissed the wealth of previous research on the link between abortion and mental health problems by saying factors unrelated to the abortion contributed to them. The scientists found abortion elevated the risks independently of those factors.

"The abortion variable made a significant independent contribution to more mental health outcomes than a history of rape, sexual abuse in childhood, physical assault in adulthood, physical abuse in childhood, and neglect which contributed to between four and ten different diagnoses," the scholars wrote.

"What is most notable in this study is that abortion contributed significant independent effects to numerous mental health problems above and beyond a variety of other traumatizing and stressful life experiences," they said.

Ultimately, the authors write that abortion is directly "responsible for more than 10% of the population incidence of alcohol dependence, alcohol abuse, drug dependence, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and bipolar disorder in the population."

The team also found that spontaneous abortions, or miscarriages, had an independent effect on 4 of the 15 psychiatric illnesses examined -- indicating abortion is significantly more traumatic for women than a miscarriage.

The team relied on a nationally representative sample, the national comorbidity survey, which is widely recognized as the first nationally representative survey of mental health in the United States.

The team wrote that more research is needed to determine why having an abortion causes women to be more susceptible to the mental health problems.

Now, have you heard this anywhere in the mainstream news? No. Of course not. The liberal media wants you to believe there is nothing wrong with murdering an innocent child. This study shows the impact on the mental health of those who have had abortions.

Of course, a murder can never be undone, many of these mental health problems could likely be helped if those who had committed the abortions would confess that to Christ as sin and turn to Jesus for salvation.

This past Friday, the family was out running some errands. One of our stops was a quick trip into a local Wal-Mart. As we were turning into the parking lot, we heard screaming. We were able to determine it was coming from a mini-van behind us. We assumed it was just a group of fools yelling at some friends of theirs in another car. We couldn't understand what they were saying.

But a few moments later, after we had turned into the parking-lot, we realized they were yelling at us. See, we proudly display a 'NOBAMA' sticker on both of our vehicles. They pulled up next to us, opened their windows and doors and were yelling at us about Obama. I turned one way, they were in a lane where they had to turn in a different direction (I am suprised they could read the turn arrow).

All was solved, right? I pulled up to door and let my wife out for her quick trip into the store. To my amazement, these idiots, circled around the parking lot, pulled up beside me and began to yell their trash at us again. After a short time, they left. As we were leaving the lot, I heard a racket again. It was coming from these same idiots. They were now out of their van, jumping and dancing in the middle of the traffic lane singing 'Obama, Obama'. You have to understand, the scareist part of this was these 'people' jumping and dancing. I would almost be willing to be that today, almost 48 hours later, their flab is still shaking. They certainly should not have been 'dancing and jumping' as they were. They were no credit to their race (that being the human race).

I wanted to try to have a civil conversation with them. I wanted to ask them why they would support Obama, but I could tell there would be no reasoning with them. How can you reason with someone who is completely unreasonable?

Barack Obama is truly an amazing man, with many amazing friends. He has succeeded where countless others have failed. And he has also succeeded where many before him have succeeded with the same time honored methods.

He has managed to create an illusion of a Public Office that does not exist, The Office of the President Elect.

Barry Sotero, AKA Barack Obama, along with the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission have successfully ignored a Federal Lawsuit asking him to produce a valid Birth Certificate. When the time to respond to that lawsuit expired, under Federal Court Rules, they all admitted that he was not a citizen of The United States of America and deemed to have committed fraud. A normal man would have been found to have admitted he was not a US citizen.

But the man with no visible past, was blessed by a light shining from above on a Federal Judge, by having the lawsuit against him dismissed, three weeks after his non-response was proof that he is not a US citizen.

That lawsuit has since been taken to the US Supreme Court, where Obama, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission have until December 1, 2008 to answer the complaint made against them.

Another lawsuit by another attorney against him to prove he is a US citizen has been scheduled for a conference of Justices of the US Supreme Court on December 5, 2008.

Alan Keyes, a Presidential candidate has also filed a lawsuit in California Supreme Court to not certify the California Electors of the US Electoral College until Obama can prove that he is a US citizen. Barack Obama promised people what they wanted: Hope and Change, without ever saying what that hope and change were going to be. One of Obama’s much praised abilities is his way of being very articulate in his speeches.

Every con man walking free or in jail is an articulate speaker. Who would give their trust to a man who could not use the right words to convince his targets to trust him? Articulate speaking is no way to judge or rate the integrity of a person.

Every con game uses three ingredients against the target: Sell the dream. Push the greed button. Stress urgency.

Obama sold the dream of hope and change so desperately wanted by the American voters. He pushed the greed button by promising to take from the rich to give to the poor. And he stressed urgency by himself and his wife telling voters to vote early. Another final nail in the coffin a con man uses against his targets is “The Jack Call”. After your sucker has committed himself to buying your offer, but has not sent the check, the con man calls him with “Good news!!!” and constantly re-sells his target until the check has cleared and the funds are in the con man’s bank account.

The non-existent Office of the President Elect is the Jack Call. The constant news shots of his “involvement and concern” in national and world issues are the repeated Jack Calls.

It remains to be seen if Barry Sotero, Barack Obama or whatever his name is, is appointed President by the Electoral College.

The only “Certificate of Birth” that he has produced is not a Birth Certificate. It is a Certificate of Live Birth, which any foreign citizen can obtain by simply showing up at the Vital Records department of the State of Hawaii and showing the original Birth Certificate from the original birth place, regardless of what country the birth took place in. Forensic records experts have stated that the document Obama
produced on his web site is a forgery.

The only comment made by the Hawaii Department of Vital Records is that they “Have seen the original Birth Certificate”. They never once have said he was born in Hawaii.

None of these lawsuits and suspicions mean as much as the fact that Obama can easily dispel all the legal actions and mistrust by simply producing a valid Birth Certificate. It matters not in the least that he has not proven his attendance at Harvard and Columbia University. It does not matter that any number of claims about his past and his experience have not been validated.

The only thing that matters is that he refuses to produce a valid Birth Certificate and instead spends thousands of dollars on attorneys and defies Federal lawsuits and State lawsuits asking him to produce one single piece of paper that most every citizen of every nation of the world has easy and rapid access to.

But beyond all of that controversy, there is one subject in this man’s activities that is truly astounding: There is absolutely no proof whatsoever that his beloved grandmother actually died on the day before the election as his campaign said she did. He said he would attend her funeral “In a few days”. He never did. Then he said he would have a funeral for her around the end of the year. What kind of person keeps
their grandmother’s body on ice for two months? What kind of a person would play on the death of his grandmother to win “the sympathy vote”? Where is the proof that she died when she said she did? Normally, we could simply learn from the local coroner of a well known person’s death. But the only public comment made by the Honolulu Medical Examiner, who acts as coroner in Honolulu, Hawaii was, “We didn’t work that case.”

Barack Obama may just win his place in history as the greatest con man of all time. A hundred million people believed him and spent 600 million dollars to get him “elected” to the highest office in America, without ever knowing if he is or is not eligible to even run as an American citizen. It is either amazing that he will pull it off or it is amazing that so many millions of people believed him.

If the Electoral College appoints him as President of The United States of America on December 15, 2008 and Congress ratifies that choice, and it is later proven that he is not a US citizen, then not one single word he utters will be valid as representing this country. The Courts, our police, our military will have no duty to obey anything he signs. It is also possible that certain people, who were part of and promoted the con, may be charged with Treason.

And if he does prove that he is a US citizen the questions remain: Why did he fight so long and so hard to not show that simple, single piece of paper when asked? Why would a man subject so many citizens of his country and leaders of other nations to such mistrust?

It is amazing to me how so many people have bought this con. We can only hope that the truth will come out very soon.

Please keep the upcoming legal cases in your prayers. They may be the only means of stopping this man.

The question must be asked: Where is the press in the legal cases? Why is it that the Russian news media is reporting this and not the US Media? Could it be that the NBC (the National Barack Channel), CBS (the Consolidated Barack Service), ABC (the American Barak Channel) and CNN (the Clinton News Network) are all completely disinterested in over-turning this non-American's election?

Of more concern, however, is what will happen if the election is overturned. Who will become our president? Will it be Joe Biden? Hilary? John McCain? Will there be a whole new round of elections (perhaps one with Sarah Palin at the top of the ticket)?

Another serious concern is the riots. If Obama is deemed not qualified (not that anyone with a brain believes he is qualified), there will be claims of a theft of the election and those who are always on the prowl for a reason to riot will certainly claim this one and there will certainly be riots.

Immediately after the election, several Detroit radio hosts telephoned the Kenyan Ambassador to the United States and spoke with him about the recent election of Barack Obama.

In that conversation, he clearly and plainly admitted that the Kenyan birthplace of the President elect was a well known landmark.

With that in mind, those of you who are interested in the preservation of the dignity and honor of the office of the President of the United States should visit this link: WND Article. On Friday, December 5, 2008, the Supreme Court will decide whether they should hear arguments in the case of Obama's citizenship.

So, instead of continuing this discussion with her on another topic, I will answer her question here. I do appreciate her question. She has a great question and I want to help her understand this simple doctrine so that she, too, can live a victorious Christian life. I do not believe she is alone in her misunderstanding. I believe this is a vastly misunderstood principle in the Word of God. I also believe this misunderstood principle causes countless people to simply give up, believing they are somehow doomed to sin. No one is predestined to sin. As you will see, when you sin, you are making the choice to sin. God is not forcing you to sin, you are choosing to sin.

First, let me make a statement to clarify something for those who are willingly ignorant of the Word of God and look for ways to confuse what I try to say: I am in no way claiming that we, as Christians, reach some state of ‘sinless perfection’ once we are saved. We will not be sinless until we are in our glorified body in heaven. Until then, as long as we are in our flesh, we will be tempted to sin. However, with each temptation, we have before us an opportunity to choose whether we will or will not sin. That is our choice to make.

Let’s look at some Scripture:
In John 5, there was a man who could not walk. One day, he encountered Jesus and Jesus healed him. Some time after Jesus had healed this man, they met again in the temple. At that meeting (in John 5:14), Jesus said, “Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.”

Likewise, in John 8, several men took a woman in the act of adultery and brought her to Jesus trying to trap Jesus. During the conversation, Jesus stopped to the ground and began writing in the sand. When he was through writing, all the accusers were gone away. At that time, Jesus said (in John 8:11), “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

Notice how, in both conversations, Jesus Himself sets the expectation: go and sin no more. How is this possible? After all, aren’t there other verses which tell us that we are all sinners? That we have all sinned? Yes, there are verse that say exactly these very things. But notice the tense in these passages. When the passages are written to the Christian, they are always in the past tense. As a Christian, we are also a sinner by nature. Our flesh wants to sin. But, as a Christian, we also have the expectation of Christ that we not sin. Is this reasonable? Would Jesus set an expectation for us that we could never reach? Absolutely not! While we are all sinners by nature that does not mean that we are condemned to sin for the rest of our lives. Quite the opposite is true. When we are saved, God expects us to choose to not sin, and He offers us the equipment we need to make the right choice.

The promise
1 Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
From this verse, first we see that there is no temptation in our lives that is not common. Every temptation you have faced has already been faced and conquered by some other person before you. Moreover, it is important to remember that every temptation you face is common.

Second, from this verse we can see that God has given us a promise. Now, remember, this is not me speaking, this is the Word of God! But the second thing we see is that God promises not to allow us to face a temptation that we cannot bear. In other words, when we are tempted to sin (not when we sin – there is a difference), God has already determined if we can withstand the temptation and whether He will allow that temptation into our life or not.

Finally, if the Lord allows the temptation in our life, He also provides a way we can escape the temptation. Before every temptation we face, God has already determined if we can bear that sin and made a way for us to avoid that temptation.

That single verse sums the principle up. As Christians, we are equipped to choose whether we will sin or not. While we have all sinned in the past, no Christian is condemned to sin again in the future.

Soon, in part two of this explanation, I will explain the tools the Christian has at his disposal to help him choose not to sin.

Some of you who are reading this, if you are honest with yourself, will question, “What are these tools? How do I get them?” I’ll explain what the tools are in the next section, but they come with salvation. If you are saved, you have the tools. Ask the Lord to show them to you and to also show you how to use them. However, for those of you who have no idea what I am speaking of, consider whether you are saved. If you are not saved, then you do not have these tools.

But, THERE IS GOOD NEWS! You can be saved. Before you can ever considering choosing to sin or not to sin, you must choose to turn to God. You must as the Lord to save you. Will you?

Sonny Scroggins

A civil rights organization in Kansas has launched a campaign to designate Nov. 4 as a national holiday, commemorating the election of Barack Obama as president.

"The reason why I want to have this holiday is because it marks the day America grew up," said Sonny Scroggins, founder and president of Bias Busters of Kansas, the organization pushing for the holiday.

Scroggins told WND that America has for too long focused on what our ancestors did during legalized slavery, but the election of Obama shows that we no longer allow race and gender to be the deciding factors in guiding our nation, but integrity and honor.

Referring to the overwhelming majority of young voters that cast ballots for Obama, Scroggins said, "The children, thirty-something and below, they put America on the right path, a path of liberty, justice, freedom, and equality for all.

"We're not going to deny the heritage of America – it's black, it's white, red, yellow," Scroggins told WND. "Obama is white and black. He represents the best of both worlds."

Scroggins' organization has now formed a "Yes, We Can" committee that will be meeting twice every Tuesday at a historic, downtown Topeka McDonald's restaurant from now until Inauguration Day to work toward the goal of establishing Nov. 4 as a national holiday.

In a forum on the website of the Topeka Capital-Journal, however, many comments have scoffed at the idea of creating a national holiday for a man who hasn't even served his presidential term yet.

"Are you freakin kidding me?" asked one poster. "A national holiday for a guy who hasn't even shown if he can lead? He may be the president elect, but he hasn't even proven that he has what it takes to lead this country."

"I once thought it was required that a person be dead before they are memorialized," said another. "Oh, but we're speaking of the Savior, The Chosen One."

Scroggins sought to answer his critics by telling WND the holiday isn't so much to honor Obama, but to honor the progress in racial relations Americans have made by electing a black president.

"It has more to do with 'We the People' of America," Scroggins said. "It's America's day. It's more for us, as opposed for Obama. I like the fact that he's white and he's black and he can move race relations further."

Lamont Lassiter, the general manager of the McDonald's hosting the Tuesday gatherings, told WND the holiday likely wouldn't be established until after Obama completes his presidency.

"We want to try to honor Barack Obama becoming the first African-American president of the United States," said Lassiter, "and not only that, but also what he's trying to accomplish."

Lassiter told WND Americans should celebrate Obama's goals for the country, namely "socialized insurance like Canada and France, he's trying to have all Americans have insurance, he's going to focus on the economy and he's trying to pull our troops out of the war."

Scroggins, however, who told WND he has been a civil rights activist for 39 years, insisted the holiday isn't for what Obama's going to do, but rather for what America has already done by electing him.

"I think about those slaves, the ones that lost their lives en route to America," Scroggins said. "This is a happy feeling for all of us, descendants of both the slaves and the slave masters, because we are all really sitting at the table of humanity.

"America has finally grown up," Scroggins said.

If The Obama should get a day to memorialize him, then Ronald Reagan should get a month and George W. Bush should certainly get a day also. And, if we are looking for heros, what about real heros like Billy Sunday? What about Dr. Bob Jones Sr.? What about Dr. Harold Sightler? Oliver B Greene? Maze Jackson?

No, there should not be a national Obama-day. He has yet to do one positive thing for this country and he has yet to earn the level of respect one should have to get his own holiday.

When I was in middle school, I was forced to read what I thought was the stupidest book anyone has ever written – Animal Farm by George Orwell. If you have read the book, you will remember how the pigs took over the farm. When they took the farm over, they posted a set of rules. All the animals agreed to the rules and loved the idea of having a clear set of rules everyone could understand and see. Of course, only the pigs could read. Therefore, only the pigs could ‘interpret’ the rules. Over time, the interpretations of the ‘rules’ changed to suit the needs and wants of the pigs while little or no regard was given to the needs and wants of the other animals.

Likewise, the political elite – yes, the politicians of both parties, have decided they know what is best for us. In this case, the Obama and his disciples have decided that we are too stupid to understand the ‘rules’, or, in this case, the Constitution of the United States. Consider the following quote: “…Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year…” Change.gov. In this plan, there will be no compensation for the work put forth by these teens. There will only be the labor – forced labor. There was another time in our country when there was forced labor. This is one of the saddest times in our history, a time where men bought and sold other men in slavery. In this case, people will not be bought and sold, but our children will simply be confiscated.

That’s right, it is the goal of the Obama to create a new ‘slave class’. I realize that the word ‘slave’ in this context is a powerful word that brings a lot of emotion. It should. Slavery was a horrible crime perpetrated on the world’s population. However, in the United States, this crime was perpetrated in the past. The Obama is seeking to reinstate slavery. No, he is not planning to come out and announce that he is planning to institute slavery. He has nicer words for this. But remember, the pigs were eloquent and easily convinced the other animals on the farm that the pig’s plans were really for the best.

What will that community service be? Who will decide? Moreover, does the government have the authority to force someone to work without compensation? No, they do not. Ah, you see, I am smarter than the pig and I am certainly smarter than the Obama thinks I am. I can actually read and I have read one important document: the Constitution of the United States of America and it’s amendments. Specifically, the thirteenth amendment applies here. It reads: “1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.”

How ironic is it that one of the darkest times in the history of this great Christian nation was the period during which people of color were enslaved. Now, a person of color has been elected to occupy the highest office in the land, and he, the first person of color to be the President of the United States, has an established goal of slavery.

In his plans, the Obama has also cleverly disguised another assault on our freedoms. Remember, the pigs were very eloquent. The pigs deceived the animals into believing that only the pigs knew what was best. Again, it seems that the Obama believes his will and desires are more important than the very words of the Constitution of the United States. With this particular goal, the Obama plans to gut the very first amendment to the Constitution of the Untied States.

He is currently supporting a pair of bills which are collectively called “The Matthew Shepard Act.” Basically, this act actually has what I would classify as ‘good intentions’. It makes the persecution of sodomites a crime. Well, beating, torturing, etc. is already a crime. This act expands on the laws already in place by making these assaults a hate crime if it can be proven that the assault is based on a person’s desire to be a sodomite.

The problem with the Matthew Shepard Act is that it would also criminalize certain aspects of speech. For example, if I would quote excerpts from Romans chapter 1 illustrating how a sodomite is also a reprobate who has been given over to his sin by God, I would also be guilty of a hate crime. Remember, as the pigs got more power, the rules changed. Well, the rules didn’t really change, but the pigs who read and interpreted the rules changed how they interpreted the rules to suit their needs. Likewise, the Obama is planning to ‘change the rules’.

The first amendment to the Constitution of the United States says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” By telling me that I cannot preach the Word of God, the Obama will be violating my constitutional right to free expression and free exercise of religion. Of course, since I am not a pig, I clearly cannot understand what the Constitution says or means.

You can put a pig in front of a teleprompter and a microphone, but he is still a pig.

When Obama was running for the Illinois state Senate. A Chicago nonprofit, Independent Voters of Illinois, had this question, and Obama took hard line:

Do you support state legislation to:
a. ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns? Yes.

The plain and simple truth: Obama supports the repeal of one of the foundational rights granted to citizens of the United States: the right to keep and bear arms. In the increasing flurry of this election's negative political ads, the Barack Obama campaign produced a TV commercial that not only attacks Republican rival John McCain, but also takes aim at an unusual target: a 31-year-old woman who was born alive after her mother's botched abortion.

Obama's commercial predictably takes shots at the GOP campaign, calling John McCain's ads "the sleaziest ever, truly vile." But when the screen shows clips of abortion survivor Gianna Jessen and the ad she made asking Obama to reverse his stance on born alive infant protection legislation, the Obama ad calls Jessen's appeal "a despicable lie."

The attack on Jessen has angered pro-life advocates.

"It is despicable, repulsive and beneath contempt that Barack Obama would attack Gianna Jessen," says Jill Stanek, a pro-life columnist who testified before Congress in support of the federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act, in a statement on Jessen's website. "She is a courageous abortion survivor and living miracle who would not be with us today if Obama's policies had been in place when she was born."

Jessen herself released a statement saying, "Mr. Obama is clearly blinded by political ambition given his attack on me this week. All I asked of him was to do the right thing: support medical care and protection for babies who survive abortion – as I did."

Jessen was born in a Los Angeles abortion clinic 31 years ago after her birthmother's saline solution abortion failed.

"The abortionist was not on duty the moment I came into this world," Jessen said in a recent Fox News Channel "Hannity & Colmes" interview. "Had he been there, he would have ended my life."

"He wasn't there, so a nurse called an ambulance, had me transferred to a hospital where I was placed in an incubator, weighing two pounds," she said.

Lack of oxygen to Jessen's brain resulted in cerebral palsy, and her doctor said she'd never be able to hold her head up, sit, walk or talk.

She has since, "by the grace of God" according to her testimony, been able to run marathons.

She has also been an advocate for babies like her – who are born following failed abortions – through her organization, BornAliveTruth.org.

Jessen first drew the Obama campaign's ire for producing an advertisement that points to the senator's record of voting against born alive infant protection laws as an Illinois state legislator.

Her advertisement can be seen below:

In the response ad from the Obama campaign, the video shows clips of Jessen's advertisement with a female voice saying, "Now, votes taken out of context accusing Obama of letting infants die. It's a despicable lie."

Obama did, however, vote against Illinois born-alive infant-protection bills four times, as Jessen's ad claims.

Obama has often said, and his own website repeats, that he would have supported the Illinois state law protecting those born-alive infants if it had had a "neutrality" clause like the federal version, which states the law specifically is not intended to impact the status of babies before birth.

As WND reported earlier, however, documentation uncovered by Doug Johnson of the National Right to Life Committee reveals Obama did vote against a version of the Illinois law that was the same as the federal law, contrary to what the candidate has stated.

More evidence that Obama is ignorant when it comes to issues related to freedom and life.

Abortion Statistics...

Several people, people who do not like hearing the truth about the selfish reasons people have abortion, have complained to me about the statistics I have cited, as well as the sources for those statistics. So, I thought I would offer a bit of clarification about the source of the numbers I have cited.

First, regarding abortions, there are exactly two organizations who collect information about abortions: the CDC and Guttmacher Institute. Of those, California does not submit their information regarding abortions to the CDC. Since California has the largest percentage of abortions in the US, any information that excludes California would not be accurate. Therefore, the information I choose to use is based on the Guttmacher Institute studies.

Aside from that, facts are facts, whether you like them or not, whether you support them or not.

Frankly, the information I found regarding the racial breakdown on abortions was not what I expected, so I did not include it in the article, however I may comment more on that later.

Bottom line: whether you like the facts or not, they are facts.

For all of you who say these statistics are somehow biased, please point me to some other set of stats that contradict what I have posted. I have not been able to find any.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell:
Sodomites in the Military

Obama believes the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy currently in effect in the military should be repealed and queers should be allowed to actively participate in the military while also actively practicing their sodomite lifestyle.

Queer Adoption:

Obama believes queers should be afforded the same rights and privilege as normal (one man, one wife) families when being considered for adoption.

So-called "Same Sex Marriage"

In an interview with the Chicago Daily Tribune, Obama said, "I'm a Christian. And so, although I try not to have my religious beliefs dominate or determine my political views on this issue, I do believe that tradition, and my religious beliefs say that marriage is something sanctified between a man and a woman."

Though he made this statement, he opposed the 'Defense of Marriage Act' and the 'Federal Marriage Amendment', both of which would have given marriage the Biblical definition of one man and one woman.

Predatory Lending Practices

Predatory lending is a term used to describe those practices of people who would take advantage of people who are in a situation where they do not qualify for premium loans. In other words, these people take advantage of the poor who typically have bad credit and who are seeking to use credit to enhance their lifestyle. While credit should never be used simply to improve one's lifestyle, these predatory practices are simply wrong. In some cases, predatory lenders charge as much as 485% interest on short-term loans.

In 2005, Obama voted against a bill that would have caped the interest rate on loans to 30%.

Taxes

Obama is on record wanting to raise taxes on the middle class through an increase in ordinary income tax, raising the maximum income level for social security taxes, raising the rate on capital gains taxes and raising the taxes on the dead (estate taxes).

Oil

While Obama is outraged at the idea that oil companies make a profit of 3-5% on their product, the fruits of their labors, govco, lead by Obama would be content to take a 15% profit on retail gas sales.

Obama also opposes the exploration for new oil finds, oil discoveries which would end our dependence on other countries, off the coast of the United States and in the artic wastelands of Alaska even when other nations (including China and Russia) are exploring the very same areas.

National Security

Some believe as much as 80% of Obama's campaign contributions come from Middle-Eastern sources. While our nation is fighting a war against muslim terrorists, he is, at best, sympathetic to muslims. However, it is the belief of many that he is, in fact, a muslim himself.

Education

Obama wants to begin the state influence on children from the womb. He has birth to kindergarten plans, kindergarten to twelfth grade plans and college plans.

I am not sure what he has planed for the infants of our country, however, I do know that he has a sex-ed plan lined up for the five year olds in kindergarten. From there, he would mandate that all children attend public, state-run schools for their education. He also wants to mandate that children attend state-run summer camps. One can only imagine what would take place in a summer camp created by a pro-muslim, sodomite supporting, big-government liberal.

Abortion

He believes everyone should have the right to terminate the life of a child - even after it is born. However, he believes that the most heinous felons on death row should live at the expense of the taxpayers for the extent of their natural life (he also believes terrorists should enjoy the same rights as a patriotic citizen).

Some of these issues are purly political. Some are patriotic. Some are religions. Again, I emphasize: I do not understand how someone can call themselves a Christian or claim to love this great country and support this man.

If Obama were Christ-like, or a Christian, there would be certain things he would not do:

He would not support a lifestyle where sodomy is encouraged.
He would not encourage the murder of innocent children - born or unborn.
He would not support muslims who would destroy Israel.
He would not support muslims who who would murder murder Christians simply because they are Christians.
He would not support teaching of evolution to children thus decieving them into believing a lie and lending creedance to those who deny the Word of God.
He would not support taking the rights of parents to train and educate their children at home away from them.
He would not support teaching kids about sex from the age of 4 years old.
He would not support a 'church' where the pastor used profanity and, in fact, took the Lord's name in vain to curse the United States of America from the pulpit!!

I could continue here, but I believe that, if you have a brain, you get the point. Despite what he may say, there is no way Obama can have one ounce of God in him. He needs our prayers - this man needs to be saved.
