It sure beat sitting at home doing nothing!

Funny thing is, the 2 guys that showed up at the bowling alley just came from the RC track... They run Nitro, weren't impressed that I did electric (Didn't get a chance to explain that we ran the trucks indoors in the winter and nitro is too loud and would gas you out).

I am just getting to the point where I am starting to meet my friend's friends. Maybe that will go somewhere.

When have I ever NOT been me?Mikehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18357506618982858813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21524530.post-1146106164057721092006-04-26T21:49:00.000-05:002006-04-26T21:49:00.000-05:00Geeze Mike, sounds like a night from hell. I don't know how well that would apply to you. It makes it that much harder being in a place that's so image driven.

Mistie has said many a time that you are a natural flirt. Find a non-alchoholic venue and just make friends. Who knows, you might find the local RC racing track and meet an interesting woman there.

Another idea, if you get your finances together, would be to consider taking a course at a college. You might not meet too diverse a group on your strengths (but you never know!), but maybe a foreign language or some other cultural class you're interested in?

Whatever you do, you know you have to be YOU, not what other people want you to be.SOI Sentinelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17343210839311946579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21524530.post-1146104523376369902006-04-26T21:22:00.000-05:002006-04-26T21:22:00.000-05:00Bars aren't good places to meet people.Especially ...Bars aren't good places to meet people.

Especially for me. If there is any background noise at all, I can't hear for anything. I see mouths moving, I hear noises, but it is just Charlie Brown's teacher. "Waa wa wa waaa whaa ah." I can't make heads or tails of what was said.Mikehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18357506618982858813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21524530.post-1146104094121103892006-04-26T21:14:00.000-05:002006-04-26T21:14:00.000-05:00Wish I could help, but you're more talkative than ...Wish I could help, but you're more talkative than I am.
