Very centrally located in safe Botafogo (zona sul) with all public transport around the corner, lots of nice local bars & restaurants, shops closeby. Only 3 min to Copacabana beach!

Great option for those travelling on their own, wanting to get some insight in Brazilian society and share experiences! We can also recommend you a good language school in Rio and bring you in touch with some valuable social projects should you wish to volunteer.

Casa Convivio heeft 4 ruime gemeubileerde kamers ter beschikking. Je kunt kiezen voor een privé- of een gedeelde kamer (max 2 personen). Je deelt de keuken, badkamers en woonkamer (met TV & DVD) met andere internationale huisgenoten. Er is wireless internet verbinding, dus je kan je laptop meebrengen. De Casa is centraal gelegen in Botafogo, dichtbij de metro en met de bushalte voor de deur. Winkelcentra, supermarkten, local restaurantjes & bars, bioscopen en culturele centra zijn allemaal op loopafstand. Binnen enkele minuten met de bus ben je op het strand van Copacabana! Nog dichterbij ligt een ander mooi strand: Praia Vermelha, aan de voet van de suikerbroodberg.

Een ideale optie dus voor reizigers die individueel reizen, van plan zijn om langere tijd in Rio te verblijven en graag willen proeven van de typisch Braziliaanse 'couleur locale'! Ben je op zoek naar een goede talenschool in Rio of wil je graag vrijwilligerswerk doen bij een duurzaam sociaal project dan helpen wij je graag op weg.

The accomodations were fitting for my needs and I especially appreciated the fact that I could hook up my laptop to a high-speed connection and do some of my volunteer web design work for a Rio-based NGO right from the Casa. I had a great time sharing my two months here in Rio with other fun young foreign nationals. I forged some great friendships with the folks here and in the end it felt like we were all a big family, which really made my trip to Rio worthwhile. This was a much better choice than renting a room by myself somewhere and being bored all of the time. The location in Botafogo was extremely convenient, as it is surrounded by shops and restaurants, is near the Metro, is right next to a huge mall, and was right in between my volunteer job in the North Zone and the party Mecca of the South Zone.
