Aleshia Mueller assisted Tormoen with this production. Additional funding provided in part by The Katherine B. Andersen Fund of the Saint Paul Foundation, The Carolyn Foundation and Brown College. For more info about prostitution: http://www.angelfire.com/mn/fjc/.

The 30 minute documentary "Prostitution: Beyond the Myths" takes a personal look at prostitution from women that have lived the lifestyle and have successfully gotten out. With intimate interviews of the women themselves along with experts who deal with prostitutes from a punitive or rehabilitative role (Hennepin community court judge, Minneapolis Vice Detective, Recovery counselors, community research group), the film demonstrates that once it is properly defined, prostitution person by person can be eliminated as a problem.Aleshiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14803050718594672564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21063056.post-12416427686144134922007-10-11T21:31:00.000-07:002008-02-28T12:04:34.430-08:00Cannes 2007: E14 Coffee Ground ReadingCannes 2007: E14 Coffee Ground Reading

Ken gets his coffee grounds read by Bilal in Al Charq, a Lebanese Restaurant in Cannes. A group of refugee's come together as musicians that work at perfecting their songs, share a powerful message, and are able to touch the world.
