Morgan gets Hitched!

Many of you may know Morgan, who is a photographer and manager here at Coughlin-Glaser photography. Well, she put all of her years of experience into creating her own dream wedding at Krugers's Farm, on Sauvie's Island.

Surprising weather in November!

Who could believe we got sunshine for a while today and great timing with the sun coming out right after the ceremony (Hinson Baptist Church in Portland) We also had the worlds fastest ring bearer and a photobooth that wouldn't quit, I think I stayed an extra hour just to make sure there weren't any more takers for the photobooth, What a night in November! Congrats to Kevin and Tiffany.

Here are some pics from last night. Another great Summer evening. Perhaps Summer has finally gotten here in September! Geranium Lakes did a wonderful Job on the flowers and I also highly recommend Anthony at A Sound Choice Entertainment http://www.asoundchoiceentertainment.com/

We had plenty of time before the ceremony to take the formal and posed shots, so after the ceremony the couple could just party.

Wedding ideas! How about a hay ride? Lillian arrived at her ceremony on a hay ride at Kruger's Farm on Sauvie Island. Here are a couple other shots from the wedding, an Infrared shot and a fun nighttime dancing shot. Kruger's Farm is a fun venue for a real outdoor party wedding.

Pinata fun! This is a first for me, I have never seen a Bride and Groom pinata before, and I hope I'll see more soon. Maybe we can start a trend. Not that anyone needed to get out their aggressions toward the bride and groom, but if they did need to they surely would have. And in the end, we see the bride and groom were full of sweet wishes....

This baby was just 4 days old and already so photogenic! This was a session with a bride and groom of mine from a few years ago, and is the first in a baby series; newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year. At the end of the year we will have an album made that really captures babies first year.

I was playing around with creating an image from hundreds of images from the same shoot. This one is a wedding shot made u of every shot from the wedding. I have included the original, the mosaic I created and a close u so you can really get the idea. Very Fun!

So, it doesn't have t happen in the spring, but recently it seems like I have been doing a lot of maternity sessions. PHOTOBOOTH! (coming to an event near you soon)

I have been working all Fall on developing a real photobooth that I can bring to weddings and events. My first working model is up and going. The booth is portable, and guests can enter the booth, push the button and it takes 4 shots which are printed out less than a minute later, Then I have it set up so the Bride and Groom (or party host) can get copy of every photostrip as well. If you want to take it for a spin call us and come on over, it is set up in the studio right now. I have a new domain name for it http://www.portlandphotobooth.com (not much there yet) and I will be posting updates and more examples here and there. Elizabeth and Mark were married in Hillsboro at The Unitarian Universalist Community Church, and hadtheir wedding reception at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. I really enjoyed the old flavor of the Churchand the indoor/outdoor nature of the reception. The Golf Club gives lots of opportunities to shoot portraits in the tall grasses and Dune like hills.
