This will be running on WDIO in Duluth, MN in September, and I am pretty proud of myself. I would have done a couple of things different, like continually cutting back to only one accordionist rather than 3 and the one I would have used was much geekier looking. But this is what the client wanted. Anyway, it was my concept so I feel pretty good. I will be slowing down the little kid a bit and tweaking a couple of little thingys, but it should be done by next week. Yeah!

I was going through my old homework and came across this neat little pano I made with a program called VR Works. Just click on it and then move your mouse around on the window, and you can turn around 360 degrees. It may take a minute to load all the images though.
I took about 20 pictures and stitched them together. Neato!

Anyway, I do like how his little clothing turned out.And I think I did a pretty good job with his eyelids.

This was my final project for school last semester. If you've seen this already, I am sorry to bore you with it, but I am testing my Vlogging ability with it. If you have not seen it, it is long, (like 13 minutes), and it is a show that I am creating and dream of having on T.V. someday.

This is an antique magic lantern,
based on the type used by the Freemasons.
Apparently all the lodges had these to show
the new apprentices weird tarot like images.
Its an early slide projector!

And, here is yet another video! This one stars my very own Giulietta Masina (Hannah!), And a very special guest: David Roth. I made this one last year and I hope someone out there enjoys this sort of thing. At least it's not as long as Schisms, and yes that is how the word "sergeant" is spelled. I looked it up like 10 times. I just couldn't believe my eyes for some reason.

Accordion Blogging

About 5 years ago my mom coaxed me in to learning the accordion. So, one Fall day she, my dad and I went shopping around for an instrument. It is a funny story filled with kismet, but the short story is that we met this wonderful woman named Helmi Harrington who wound up selling me and my mom accordions and giving us both lessons.
So, every Thursday for about 4 years I would pick up my mom and we would drive on out to Burnsville and take our lessons. I have been too busy to go for the last year or two but my mom is still going strong with the lessons and I try to keep practicing and learning as much as I can!

Anyway, here is a little tune called Moonglow that I recorded with some friends. I hope you enjoy it!

Link Of The Week
Ok, so here is my first official blog entry. I would like to start out by showing you a website that I think is really cool. It is a website for: "The Museum of Jurassic Technology" .
My favorite part is in the exhibits from the permanent collection, and is about the Deprong Mori. The Deprong Mori is supposed to be a little white bat that can tune its echolocation system to a fine point (?), allowing it to fly through solid objects. The drawing to the left is a rendering of a trapped Deprong Mori, and you can read all about how it was captured if you visit the website.

The big idea here was that Hannah would play an eccentric who would hold forth publicly on subjects like Mathematics or some other subject we know nothing about, allowing us to create an imaginary math or whatever. -I just have not finished this one yet, but Hannah is really funny in this morning calisthenics scene.
