Keith 2nd Birthday

I am very sorry for not being able to update my blog as often as I like now. Life is indeed very hard especially when you have to work things out from scratch without much help and support. Luckily I found it lately with much understanding.

I know that I have been absent from my blog for over 2 months now. I am taking this opportunity to start writing again whenever I can find the time to. My sincerest apologies to all that have hopped over to my blog only to be disappointed with the same old posting.

It was Keith's birthday last week and I manage to spend almost the whole day with him. (Well, I am glad that I can almost see him almost on a weekly basis and he is still as attached to me)

That day was not really an eventful day but it has been a very tiring day for all of us, including the Birthday boy. Elaine wanted to get cupcakes from Cupcake Chic so they bought two to try and sadly they were not to our liking, with Keith being the only one wanting to eat one cupcake and smashing the sweeter one. Guess the cupcakes were not to our liking.

This is how Keith eats his cup cake

After the cupcake we decided to go into the Curve because it was raining heavily and I have parked my car in the basement parking of Ikea. While walking towards the entrance, Keith saw the candy shop and immediately he helped himself to pick the candy :P We can really see that he indeed enjoyed himself with his lollipop candy although he cannot finish it.

He even sat himself on a bench to enjoy his lollipop.

We allowed him to have 2 rides on the mini rides then we headed to Ikea and had a little walk. Keith would as usual play with all the toys there and also the slide

Right after that, we decided to go to Jelly Q to get a jelly instead. Everybody decided to go for the steamboat opposite of the confectionery shop because we were all so hungry.

So we also let Keith have his jelly cake there too

What gave me the scare is him touching the top of the candles right after he blew it

I bought him a balloon, which he had used to repeatedly hit Irene on the head with, as well along with the gifts he got from us. I gave him a Swarovski Crystal Pig (for keeping) with a fake W910 display phone, my mom gave him a small golden piggie pendant and he also received a Jumbo-size Barney from a very good friend of Irene and I.

That did not conclude the day, we went to the Food Foundry to get a Mille Crepe Cake for all the adults and headed to a small restaurant in Taman Desa for our dinner before sending Elaine and Keith home. As usual Keith would whine when he sees me leave but I am glad in a way that Elaine and I are trying to work things out in our own ways.

NO2 Black

Well, of late I hated it so much to tell this. I think I am beginning to gain more weight because I feel that my workouts are not working too well for me. Honestly I was very tempted to try to use the help of NO2 Black because I know that it will be able to help me to maintain a high level of nitric oxide throughout the day long. Maintaining a higher level of nitric oxide can help massive gains in lean mass, "in-gym" muscle recovery, and skin ripping pumps. I really think that it is definitely the thing that I have to look into.

New York City Hotel

Whenever I go to New York City, the thing that I always frown about is to get a nice and affordable place to stay. I am of course glad that there is a place which includes breakfast, internet access, weekday newspaper for free, besides all the other facilities they provide. So be sure to check out the New York City hotel when you want to pay the city a visit. To me, Comfort Inn is definitely my best choice of stay, especially the one located at Central Park.

Farmhouse Sinks

Everybody says that a woman's pride is her home, especially how the kitchen is being designed. I am not trying to say that a woman's place is in the kitchen but rather it is a woman's pride when she has a nicely decorated and equipped kitchen, who is do not want a dream house. For me, I would like something out of the ordinary in the kitchen like one of those nice farmhouse sinks, which I find rather exotic.

I am deciding to move out of my current rented place to another because my current place is now facing termite problems and it seems like my landlord is not too willing to cover the expenses to clear up the termites. If I do move to another place, the first thing that I really need to look into is getting some good quality and nice lighting because I suspect my current lighting here is causing me to have bad headaches everyday. The first place I needed to look for is to get some discount lighting to fit my budget.

Box Cutter

Many a time when I face problems in opening up a box nicely and to make things worse, I have had those sharp blades snapping while I was cutting up the box. Bodily injury is indeed something to fear when it can be said as our own fault for not taking enough precaution to avoid all the possible injuries. I am now thinking of getting myself a good box cutter for my future box cutting situations.

Cerebral Palsy

Many a times we parents get really worried that our little ones are not being adequately taken care of when we are being dispensed medicine for our small ones or when they are hospitalized. Our elders will always tell us that we are being too scared cat but in reality cerebral palsy is indeed for real. We all now live in an informed society and all those negligence and mistakes are being published on the papers everyday. It is only normal that we parents, even new parents, are being cautious because we needed to make sure that our children will grow up as normally as possible.

My Recent Visits to Keith

I have managed to see Keith as per the agreement that it has to be in the presence of, and it was with Elaine for the past few weeks but the trouble is we still have our BIG fights. I guess it is rather hard to working things out and I am really hoping that we can start everything anew as friends. I am rather overjoyed because Keith has been rather ecstatic to see me and he is still just as attached to me but of course he has gotten more attached to his mom.

Keith has gotten quite demanding and has began to order around, even starting to ask for things but the good thing is we can still talk him out of it or to promise him to give it to him later, then he is ok already. All we need to do is to be really angry or when he does something really wrong, he would come over and keep giving the angry one his kisses.

Well, as for the toys I have given him, he is not too interested in it because I know that he had always wanted someone to be there playing it with him, only then will he be interested. Of all the toys, the one he had like most is the bus toy and the drawing table. But we all know how kids are, they always change their preference almost on a daily basis.

I wanted so very much to post up his pictures here but Elaine made me promised that I will not post his pictures up until much later on, for reasons I dunno why. Sigh!

I have to admit that I have gained a couple extra pounds lately and have been trying very hard to lose it. Sadly I am not one of those that has been blessed with a body that will never gain those extra pounds no matter how much you eat or those that can control very well of their carvings. I am even thinking of getting the easy way out and go for the diet pills. Honestly I know that these do work and have been rather safe to consume too but I will really consider it the last resort because I would have depended on my own will, if it was strong enough.

I have a portable DVD which just gave up working for me when I slot in a DVD. Initially I thought it was a bad DVD problem. Luckily this portable DVD player comes with the capability of playing from SD Cards as well as iPod Videos, since the latter is so much more expensive so I guess I will have to resort to getting a couple more memory cards so that I can still use the portable player. The reason why I did not send it to the manufacturer is because the player is past its warranty period

Every time I go for my travels I have had trouble leaving my luggage to be delivered by the airline company. This is because of all the trouble that my friends have faced during their travel, this includes a broken luggage bag. Since moving into the new apartment, I have not installed anything to cover the windows nor the sliding door because I never knew what is the best option or choice. Right now we have resorted to cover it with thick papers because it is the cheapest solution while deciding on what to use to cover it with. I never wanted to rush too quickly into deciding on it yet until I saw some rather nice bamboo blinds, which I think would make the windows rather nice and elegant. Well, the good thing is, now I make my own decisions in this and I can make sure that I can choose what I really wanted.

I am not too sure how many of you, my friends actually know this. I have never seen my father before. He has left my mom when I was barely even 2 years old. I never hope to do the same to my son so I struggled very hard to maintain my marriage but sadly things just got quite out of hand and I chose out of it. Lately I did wish to know who my father is and how he actually looked like because I guess I do owe my son some explanation when it comes to ancestry line. I think I would surely go for a paternity test when I really meet him one day.

Vacation

Lately with so many things running through my mind, it is indeed very hard to fall asleep at night. Honestly my sleeping time has ran off so bad that I cannot sleep throught out the night and even morning but would only start to feel sleepy in the late afternoon. I really wish that I can spare some time to go for a nice vacation. With my current sleeping pattern, the best place that I can really think of is going for a Vegas vacations and even perhaps to try my luck there too. That would definitely be like killing two birds with one stone.

I have been facing problems with our water supply being too muddy so my sister had actually bought a water filtering system for the house. The system itself is rather convenient because it includes a water heater in it but the problem is, it is a reverse osmosis system and requires water to be expelled out of its system. So I have been tasked to look for a double faucets. While doing so, I found some rather interesting Moen faucets and fixtures that I would like to share to those whom is looking for a replacement.

This week have been a very expensive week for me. I have bought 2 case of Enfagrow A+ in Isetan which is retailing at RM74.90. (there is 6 tins in a case)

Before that I have went to the e-Toys warehouse sales to buy toys for Keith and a birthday present for Nicole too.

A bus with alphabets and phonics. To him this is another car toy.

This is the most expensive one, costing RM100, not sure if he likes this one or is he going to use the teacher as a joystick

Got him a table drawing board to get him interested in writing

And lastly this standing drawing board is for Nicole but now I got to figure out how to send this one back to her.

I have also bought a Vtech Floating Boat and got a free RC Helicopter from their lucky draw.

I guess from next few months I will have to be really thrifty and to spend as little as possible. I might have to even skip some of the things that I really needed, like getting a new pair of spectacles to replace my 3 years old glasses.

Nowadays it has been rather hard for me to wake up in the morning. I really think I should consider of getting myself an espresso machines without having to drive out to get one, when I can get my caffeine shots right after I brush my teeth i definitely the best thing to start my day.
