Maybe you say could new "toy", because it sure is a lot fun to draw and sketch with my new Wacom 12wx. And this comes from person who never tried any other Cintiq or any touch screen device for that matter. So, it´s feels pretty awesome to see your line drawn directly to your screen without delay. It brings this the Wacom drawing experience much more close to the original paper and pencil. Maybe this is bye bye to scanner..? ..well not entirely never, can´t beat the old school methods and the portability of pencil and small sketchbook, but for sure this is a new direction in digital illustration.

A hangover (veisalgia) describes the sum of unpleasant physiological effects following heavy consumption of drugs and liquor, particularly alcoholic beverages. Symptoms
An alcohol hangover is associated with a variety of symptoms that may include dehydration, fatigue, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, elevated body temperature, hypersalivation, difficulty concentrating, anxiety, irritability, sensitivity to light and noise, erratic motor functions, and trouble sleeping. Many people will also be repulsed by the thought or taste of alcohol during hangover. The symptoms vary from person to person, and occasion to occasion, usually beginning several hours after drinking. It is not clear whether hangovers affect cognitive abilities.

Helsinki Design Week -Giants

In September part of Helsinki Design Week freshly established Finnish illustration agency Pekka was presented for audience. HDW asked 10 illustrators from Pekka to design 10 giant banderols each measuring 180 x 800cm (71 x 315 in), so pretty massive! It took my "not that old" MacBook pro and nerves to the limits, working with Photshop in 300 dpi the open .psd file weighted about 4 Gb, so the whole process was pretty slow. But all that was worth it, the result is pretty impressive.

Hello everyone! This is my brand new blog.. actually not that new I had the template ready already two years ago. Finally today I thought the time was right to start it. My main motive to keep this blog is to draw more, so it´s kind of kick to my own ass to start drawing more and more and more. It´s not that I don´t draw already, but sometimes I feel kind of guilty that I don´t draw my own stuff enough, sketches, other self initiated projects. After all love for drawing was what got me into this business in the first place. So, I guess you could call this online sketchbook, sketch blog, electric doodle book whatever makes you happy..? Of course I won´t publish all the crap I draw here, but I try to keep the self- censorship quite low so you can see some interesting and different stuff that you are not normally used to see from me. For that reason I disabled the comments also .. but if you feel urge to comment my drawings you can email me. I think I will publish news, projects and other shit here too, but let´s see where this demon goes. Or will it see the year to come even.. hope so.
