Have any of the chemicals or processes used in the procedure affected you?
I'd like to know because medical opinion seems to accept that this is what nearly killed me but there are very few documented cases for the experts to refer to.
Let me know your stories.Robbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00553027755175107400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20844229.post-1137021812703499652006-01-11T23:09:00.000Z2006-01-12T11:31:16.873ZThe curse of AsthmaAsthma seems to be getting everywhere these days, or is it just that I'm acutely aware of it now?
Having lived 45 years without it, I became astmatic after exposure to the dust produced from large scale carpet removal and refitting at my work place. I nearly died from a severe bronchospasm caused, most probably, by this exposure. Part of me feels that the asthma was the least I could expect after such an experience, but 2 and a half years on I am still coming to terms with the condition and realise how fortunate I was to have had clear breathing for the larger part of my life.
My 2 year old daughter has asthma and I panic inside when I see her struggling with breath. The first sign of a cold puts myself and my wife on alert. It seems grossly unfair that a little one has to cope with these problems and it's because of this that I'd welcome any thoughts or advice on coping with both adult and childhood asthma.
Please feel free to contribute.Robbhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00553027755175107400noreply@blogger.com
