Villaraigosa and the City Council won't let our police protect you and your family from illegal alien gang bangers, but apparently have no qualms about deploying the police, in significant numbers, with air support, to "protect" you from the Shaw Family's effort to get your signature on the petition to put Jamiel's Law on the ballot.

Please read, "The City of Los Angeles Raid Community Park!", at Mayor Sam's Sister City, to learn the details of the shameful "raid" City Hall staged yesterday. The police actually told Mr. Shaw he could not gather signatures at a public park, but would instead have to go door-to-door.

Now, I realize our Mayor never passed the bar exam, despite four tries, so let me set forth, for his benefit, the text of the First Amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The First Amendment applies not just to Congress, but to state and local government, by virtue of the Fourteenth Amendment. [Gitlow v. New York, 268 U.S. 652, 666 (1925).] Sections 2 and 3 of the California Constitution likewise protect freedom of speech and the right to petition.

Obviously City Hall does not "get" it. Instead, they seem to be applying "laws" from totalitarian nations, where police are rountinely used to intimidate dissidents who have the audacity to challenge the status quo. Is L.A. even part of America any more?

So this brings us to my question: ACLU, where are you?

This disgraceful "raid" on the Shaw Family is EXACTLY the kind of abuse of government power that the ACLU should combat: a city using its police force to harass American citizens, peaceably assembled in a public park, to gather signatures on a petition for a ballot measure. The Shaw Family has a constitutional right to petition in public places, and no obligation to go door-to-door.

How about it, ACLU? Will you step up to the plate and protect Americans' civil liberties? Will you file a lawsuit right now to enjoin this abuse of police power? Maybe you can do what the People's Law School failed to do despite having had Villaraigosa as a student for three years: make him understand the law.

"{A linked source indicates the possibility that} ...LAPD's presence near the Leimert Park raid on the Shaw Family was coincidental. So who are the officers in the pics? Who demanded social security numbers of the Shaws and threatened them if they didn't comply?

They're Office of Public Safety police, aka General Services police."

This information comes from, "Leimert Park Raid Not LAPD? Oops!", from Mayor Sam's Sister City, citing another source for the information. It looks like this new information places new heat on whoever was behind ordering the raid, and Mayor Sam's gives a lot of information about OPS, whom they say was definately involved.

The main article, "Looking for a house cheap?", by James Edwards at The Political Cesspool, tells us in the article to which they link at a Detroit newspaper that the house, "was the nicest house on the block when it sold for $65,000 in November 2006". That was after telling us that:

"DETROIT — One dollar can get you a large soda at McDonald’s, a used VHS movie at 7-Eleven or a house in Detroit.

The fact that a home on the city’s east side was listed for $1 recently shows how depressed the real estate market has become in one of America’s poorest big cities.

And it still took 19 days to find a buyer."

No Sanctuary for Villaraigosa - or for other Mexican Gangs

Please tell all your friends who live in the City of L.A. that they have an appointment THIS SATURDAY AT NOON AT ONE OF THE LOCATIONS BELOW.

Urge them to visit one of the many locations listed below, between noon and 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 16, 2008, to sign the petition to put Jamiel's Law on the ballot. Volunteers have graciously promised to go to each of those locations to gather signatures. And if you haven't signed it yet, this would be a great time.

Also, if you'd like to get a "Walter Moore for Mayor" yard sign Saturday, rather than waiting for me to figure out how to get them to you, you can come to the Mid-Wilshire location listed below. I'll bring yard signs to that location.

Thanks for taking action to stop Villaraigosa, Bratton and the City Council from playing Russian roulette with the lives of L.A.'s residents. Political correctness is killing us. The cold-blooded murders of Jamiel Shaw, II, Mr. Bologna, and the two Bologna boys by illegal alien sociopath gang members were completely preventable. American cities should be sanctuaries for families, not gang members.

I viewed the Zombietime unobscured link and I disagree with the writer to AFTAH who said that there should be a 40 foot wall around San Francisco. It would be much more appropriate to have a 40 foot deep hole in San Francisco.

You may want more information about the beer discussed as being a probable supporter of "Up Your Alley" in the article. Wikipedia has the following information:

Let's start with the good news:

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is holding a hearing Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 11:00, at which Sheriff Baca will make a presentation on his efforts to identify illegal aliens in jail and hand them over to ICE rather than releasing them back into our community to commit more crimes. The Shaw Family will attend, and would like you to join them if you can. (The address is: Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, 500 West Temple Street, Room 381B, L.A., CA 90012.) Ideally, every single prisoner would be screened to ensure we deport every criminal we can, rather than playing "Russian roulette" with the public's safety.

Now the bad news:

The Los Angeles City Council has on its agenda Item No. 36, a motion to obtain a $1.6 million grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

The money, however, would not be spent in our city, our even our county, or even our nation.

Instead, our City's Department of Cultural Affairs -- funded with your tax dollars -- wants to spend $300,000 to build a "showcase pavillion" in Mexico for the Guadalajara International Book Fair. The remaining $1.3 million would go into a dedicated trust fund, to be used only for the "Guadalajara Book Fair."

The City Council -- the same group that is too busy to vote on Jamiel's Law -- will take up this issue as part of its 10:00 a.m. calendar, in Room 340 at City Hall, 200 North Spring Street, L.A., CA 90012.

I know this makes you mad. It should make you mad. But "mad" isn't good enough.

If you want to end the infuriating, obscene excuse for "government" we have in the City of L.A., you must take action. That means contribute as much as you can, as fast as you can, to my campaign. If you don't contribute, I can't buy the ads I need to reach new people. That's just the way it is.

You can also help spread the word by putting one of my bumper stickers on your cars, getting your friends to sign up for my newsletter, signing up for a yard sign, printing out flyers from my website and taking them to the next meeting of your civic club, and anything else you can think of. But you have to do something or the bad guys win.

James Edwards [who, as a member of The Political Cesspool, received a Dixie Defender Award from the Sons of Confederate Veterans] said about Cleveland police officer Jim Simone:

"You can see why he’s a hero in Cleveland. Nothing resonates with white people quite like a man who fearlessly risks his life to rid the world of the scum who have no regard for other people’s lives and property. They’re even making up songs about Simone in Cleveland.

But not all white people regard Simone as a hero. One local columnist attacked him, comparing him to Jack Kevorkian and serial killers. Can you guess who?"

James Edwards tells us about the facts, including who is behind the attacks against officer Simone, and he says, those launching the attacks were, "Just as I figured".

Israel warned on "False Flagging"

In an article which is sub-headed, "Joint Chiefs Chairman Says Another ‘Liberty’ Will Not Be Tolerated", it would appear that Israel and supporters are being warned that insane politics utilizing the US will not be further tolerated. Saying, "US WARNS ISRAEL: 'NO USS LIBERTY PART II' ", the article, from the site of Dr. Virginia Deane Abernathy, continues with the details.

"Recently appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Adm. Mike Mullen flew to Tel Aviv to warn Israel’s military establishment how “important” it was that “history not repeat itself ”—referring to Israel’s deliberate attack on the USS Liberty in June, 1967. The Establishment media blacked out the event (in which 34 American men were killed) for decades—and still does.

Given the fact that this brazen two-hour attack upon the United States has been hushed up for 41 years, the reason for Mullen’s meeting is obvious—someone within the intelligence or military apparatus of the United States has concluded that Israel is planning a “USS Liberty Part II,” meaning an attack on a U.S. ship, most likely in the Persian Gulf, leading to a massive loss of life to be blamed on Iran.

As was intended in 1967, when Israel attacked the Liberty, angry Americans would demand the “obliteration” of the guilty party, the false identity of which the Jewish media establishment in America would provide. City of L.A. "Selling" Four Ambulances to Mexico for Four Dollars -- And Selling Out

Mayor Villaraigosa and the City Council are supposedly too busy even to put Jamiel's Law on their agenda, or to otherwise show the least bit of respect to the Shaw Family, whose son was murdered by an illegal alien gang banger.

How many murders and other crimes could Jamiel's Law prevent? Well, U.S. Senator Diane Feinstein estimates that 80% of the 18th Street Gang members in California are illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America. But Villaraigosa and the City Council haven't had time yet to consider denying "sanctuary city" status to these violent sociopaths who control our streets and kill our children.

So what are our "leaders" doing instead?

Villaraigosa is "on vacation," a condition which is, in his case, indistinguishable from not being on vacation.

The City Council, meanwhile, has raised our trash fees, put yet another proposed tax hike on the ballot to fund more "Big Weasel" programs, banned the construction of new fast-food restaurants in one part of town, and is working feverishly to "protect" Britney from paparazzi, without whom, she would not exist.

Today, Council Members Reyes, Garcetti and Huizar focused the City Council on another issue of vital concern to the entire populace: a labor dispute at a car wash. Apparently some of the witnesses from whom the City Council heard today needed interpreters since, you know, the City Council Members don't all speak Spanish yet.

And tonight a supporter sent me yet another glaring and offensive example of our Vichy California government in action: a Report of the Chief Legislative Analyst to the City Council's Budget and Finance Committee, dated July 29, 2008.

The report recommended adoption of a motion, made by Council Members Huizar and Alarcon, to authorize "the below market value sale of four ambulances to the municipality of Tlaltenago, Zacates, Mexcio.

"You read it right: They want to sell four of our ambulances, below market price, to a city in Mexico.

Makes sense. After all, no one in L.A. needs an ambulance any more. There's no violence and no accidents any more. And they just licked that nasty fast-food crisis, so you can kiss heart attacks good-bye, too. Plus, what are the odds that some freak event like, say, an earthquake would ever hit here and hurt someone? Nil.

Hey, guess how far "below market" the "sale" price will be? Would you believe four dollars for four ambulances? It's true. The people who brought you the one-dollar-a-year lease of your city buildings to "Aztecs Rising" -- that's a real name, by the way -- now bring you the one-dollar-ambulance deal, as long as the "buyer" is from Mexico.

This isn't funny any more. It's obscene.

The Shaws' son was murdered by an illegal alien gang banger. Then the Bologna Family in San Francisco lost three family members the same way. Who knows how many families lose loved ones each month due to preventable murders -- murders that could be avoided if we stopped giving sanctuary to gang members?

Does ANYBODY give a damn about this City any more?

Anyone?I ask, because I hear a lot of people complain, but I don't see a lot of people contributing to my campaign, sending for bumper stickers, and getting on the waiting list for yard signs. It's taken me over a year to raise $115,000. It probably took Villaraigosa about 10 minutes to raise that much at a cocktail party fund-raiser in Chicago hosted by the developers whose projects he subsidizes with your tax dollars.

The next time someone complains about Villaraigosa and City Hall, stop them, and ask one simple question: What are YOU doing about it? Then slap him around -- metaphorically speaking -- until you see him write a check to the Committee to Elect Walter Moore.

Whining doesn't cut it any more. Nor is it worth our time to keep asking these corrupt politicians, pretty please, to do the right thing.

We don't need to persuade them. We need to REPLACE them.

If you have not contributed already, do so right now. You can do it online. And for Heaven's sake, spread the word. Get involved, get your friends involved, but take action. We don't have to put up with these continual, obscene abuse of power.

This is literally life and death. If you think that's hyperbole, just imagine for a moment that you become the next Anita Shaw, Jamiel Shaw, Sr. or Danielle Bologna. Every day Villaraigosa and the City Council stay in office is another day that they are playing a city-wide game of Russian Roulette, where the gun is pointed at you and your loved ones.

Tale Of Two (Sanctuary) Cities: Don't Re-Elect Their Mayors, Indict Them

Mayors Villaraigosa of Los Angeles and Newsome of San Francisco both want to become California's next governor.

Both men, moreover, have granted "sanctuary" to all illegal aliens -- even gang members like those who shattered the lives of the Shaw Family, the Bologna Family, and Heaven only knows how many other families.

Should these two Mayors be elected governor, or should they instead be indicted for aiding and abetting illegal immigration? Let's look at the law:

Entering the country illegally is a crime, punishable by up to six months' imprisonment. (8 U.S.C. 1325.)

Aiding and abetting illegal immigration, moreover, is also a crime. (8 U.S.C. 1324.)

Federal law provides for a five-year prison sentence for "any person who . . . aids and abets the commission of any" of the following acts:

1. Concealing."[K]nowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;

2. Encouraging."[E]ncourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law[;]

3. Transporting."[K]nowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law[.]

"Can you even count all of the ways that Villaraigosa's and Newsome's "sanctuary city" policies aid and abet illegal immigration?

Let's start with "concealing." Villaraigosa's policy is the ultimate in concealment, because it prevents the police from investigating the crime of illegal entry in the first place. The LAPD Manual (Vol. 4, Section 264), specifically states:

"ENFORCEMENT OF UNITED STATES IMMIGRATION LAWS. Officers shall not initiate police action where the objective is to discover the alien status of a person. Officers shall neither arrest nor book persons for violation of Title 8, Section 1325 of the United States Immigration Code (Illegal Entry)."

And the LAPD Manual does not stop there. Consider the following passage (Vol. 1, Section 390): "UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS. Undocumented alien status in itself is not a matter for police action."

If these provisions in the LAPD Manual do not constitute aiding and abetting through concealment, what does? The manual specifically refers to the federal statute that makes it a crime to enter the country illegally. The LAPD Manual is a dream come true for people who have committed the crime of entering the country illegally.

Can you imagine the uproar if the manual included similar provisions for, say, child molesters?

Villaraigosa's policy effectively blinds the police when it comes to illegal aliens. What better way to aid and abet the concealment of illegal aliens than to prohibit the police themselves from investigating the crime altogether?

The City likewise aids, abets and conceals illegal aliens by requiring City agencies to accept Matricula Consular cards as valid ID. What possible purpose does that serve other than concealing the identity of persons who enter the country illegally? After all, people who live here would have a driver's license or other valid ID, and people visiting here legally would have a passport and/or visa.

The City of Los Angeles, moreover, doles out Section 8 housing subsidies regardless of whether the recipient is here legally. What do you want to bet they even have application forms in Spanish? If paying the rent for an illegal alien's apartment isn't "harboring," what is?

San Francisco, however, wins the prize for "encouraging" and "transporting." If you follow the illegal immigration issue, you already know that San Francisco actually used taxpayer money to run TV and radio ads proclaiming, in Spanish, that the city is a "sanctuary city." San Francisco also put illegal aliens on planes to help them avoid arrest by federal authorities.

The list could go on and on, but you get the idea.

Neither Villaraigosa nor Newsome deserves to be re-elected as Mayor, much less elevated to the role of Governor. You can decide for yourself whether they deserve instead to become defendants in a federal prosecution for aiding and abetting illegal immigration.

We, the people, must replace these men. Towards that end, I ask you -- wherever you live -- to support my campaign to become L.A.'s next Mayor. Within one minute after taking the oath of office, I will sign an Executive Directive ordering all City employees to stop following practices that aid and abet illegal immigration in violation of federal law.

That means no more "sanctuary" for illegal alien gang bangers like those who murdered Jamiel Shaw, II and the Bologna men. It means no more tax dollars spent housing people here illegally. And it means never again having to "press one for English" when you call the City of L.A.

One story about the Cuban "revolution" is told in a story linked through Che Guevara Lies, and thier post is, "A Cuban Movie Proposal". A small excerpted section is above. It is not fiction, and is doubtful that it will ever be seen on the screen, or taught by Marxist oriented college professors. In many ways it is a story about political correctness (easily expanded to societal repression), so maybe we shouldn't expect those proponents on the left to embrace that which is against their own interests, or to deny that which they attempt to impose for the rest of us.

Front Page Magazine tells us about, "Andy Garcia's Thought Crime", committed in making the movie, The Lost City. They also tell us about pre-Castro Cuba. It seems that, "...Garcia insisted on depicting some historical truth about Cuba -- a grotesque and unforgivable blunder in his industry. He's now paying the price." FPMs author, states that Garcia's mainstream critics were "tearing apart a movie 16 years in the making." Facts are presented which tear apart the arguments of those mainstream critics and the leftist fantasies painted by so many teachers of our youth.

"Here's a UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) report on Cuba circa 1957 that dispels the fantasies of pre-Castro Cuba still cherished by America's most prestigious academics and its most learned film critics: "One feature of the Cuban social structure is a large middle class," it starts. "Cuban workers are more unionized (proportional to the population) than U.S. workers. The average wage for an 8 hour day in Cuba in 1957 is higher than for workers in Belgium, Denmark, France and Germany. Cuban labor receives 66.6 per cent of gross national income. In the U.S. the figure is 70 per cent, in Switzerland 64 per cent. 44 per cent of Cubans are covered by Social legislation, a higher percentage then in the U.S."

In 1958 Cuba had a higher per-capita income than Austria and Japan. Cuban industrial workers had the 8th highest wages in the world. In the 1950's Cuban stevedores earned more per hour than their counterparts in New Orleans and San Francisco. Cuba had established an 8 hour work-day in 1933 -- five years before FDR's New Dealers got around to it. Add to this: one months paid vacation. The much-lauded (by liberals) Social-Democracies of Western Europe didn't manage this until 30 years later."

Citing the fact that the "revolution" was in fact a "rebellion" by a student and professional class,
FPM tells us that:

"Andy Garcia shows it precisely right. In 1958 Cuba was undergoing a rebellion not a revolution. Cubans expected political change not a socio-economic cataclysm and catastrophe. But I fully realize such distinctions are too "complex" for a film critic to grasp. They prefer clichés and fantasies of revolution. Garcia might have followed the laudable examples of "historical complexity" and "accuracy" shown in previous movies on Cuba. Take two that these critics compare (favorably) to The Lost City, Havana and Godfather II.

In Havana, the brilliant director Sydney Pollack casts Fulgencio Batista with blond hair and blue eyes. In fact, Batista was black. In Godfather II, Francis Ford Coppola, to show Havana streets on New Years Eve 1958, casts more people than marched in Los Angeles last week and depicts them in a battle scene right out of Braveheart. In fact, Havana streets were deathly quiet that night."

Has the "revolution" brought about what the leaders of that coup intended for Cuba?

I think so. They have exactly what they wanted to have - an empire hidden behind lies and repression. The following video, "Neighborhood Vigilantes - Cuba", tells how their system works. This is what the blurb accompanying the video tells us about how the government in Cuba works.

"Castro may be seriously ill but his autocratic regime shows no signs of relaxing its grip on power. A network of neighbourhood spies ensures 'dangerous subversives' are kept in check.

A group of Cuban students discusses how, "Los comités (CDR)", affects their everyday lives.

El Cafe Cubano lets us know how the treachery against a once, and always, proud people continues today, more than sixty years following the Castro Marxist insurrection, in an, "URGENT LETTER FROM WIFE OF CUBAN PRISONER OF CONSCIENCE". This is the English translation of the Spanish language letter posted by Blog for Cuba, at BFC's post, "The Castro brothers: barbarian monsters".

El Cafe Cubano also asks those who support a monster how well they know, "The real Che Guevara".

More continuing truth about victims of the Cuban communist regime is contained in these, "Selected Cases". Another article which places some perspective on the issues surrounding Castro's beloved Che', is "Che Guevara: Assassin and Bumbler".

"They say Lewis Carroll was a serious dope fiend, his mind totally scrambled on opium, when he concocted "Alice in Wonderland." A place where the sentence comes first and the verdict afterward, where people who protest the madness are sentenced to death themselves – what lunacy!

If only Carroll had lived a bit longer. If only he'd visited Cuba in 1959 when every paper from the New York Times to the London Observer – when every pundit from Walter Lippman to Ed Murrow, every author from Jean Paul Sartre to Norman Mailer, every TV host from Jack Paar to Ed Sullivan were touting the judicial outrages, mass larceny and firing-squad orgies instituted by Fidel Castro and Che Guevara as the most glorious events since VJ day."

The author tells us about some of the truth which has been garbled into the typical Hollywood romanticism for Marxist heroes of any kind. He has a reminder for those who believe that propaganda, and some advise for whom they should see.

"The "acrid odor of gunpowder and blood" never reached Guevara's nostril from actual combat. It always came from the close-range murder of bound, gagged and blindfolded men. He was a true Chekist: "Always interrogate your prisoners at night," Che commanded his prosecutorial goons. "A man is easier to cow at night, his mental resistance is always lower."

Che specialized in psychological torture. Many prisoners were yanked out of their cells, bound, blindfolded and stood against The Wall. The seconds ticked off. The condemned could hear the rifle bolts snapping ..... finally – FUEGO!!

BLAM!! But the shots were blanks. In his book, "Tocayo," Cuban freedom fighter Tony Navarro describes how he watched a man returned to his cell after such an ordeal. He'd left bravely, grim-faced as he shook hands with his fellow condemned. He came back mentally shattered, curling up in a corner of the squalid cell for days.

A real cutup, this Che Guevara. And now the same crowd moaning and wailing about the judicial rights of Guantanamo prisoners give this sadist a standing ovation and adorn themselves with his T-shirt! Again, is there a psychiatrist in the house?!".

The Real Cuba has more information about, "THE REAL CHE GUEVARA". We, meaning all of us in our Western countries, had better watch for the neighborhood committees, those vigilante groups who promote Guevara's brand of political correctness. They are no longer making wrappings to be smoked on Cuban cigars. They are in fact more likely in the anti-smoking, speech limiting, conformist camps presided over and led by our own leftists, operating from positions which were formerly occupied by stealth within our own countries.

We did not have their allies, the media, to inform us and no national voice to warn us, so now they are operating with minority/leftist consensus coalitions against our people within our own countries. Their networks are transnational, as are those of their allies in the media. Our voices and our interests are kept below the public's awareness levels in each of our nations. Our interests will remain silent to the national public audiences until we create our own media or create an awareness in other ways. Until then, PC groups will evolve to become Los Comites intent upon directing our everyday speech, thought and lives.

Beware: They are more cowardly than Guevara and more dangerous than the neighborhood vigilantes inspired by the Marxist brand.

We may not have too much more in a materialistic sense, but we do have as much life and liberty to lose as the Cuban people. We have the danger of losing each other.

Your "Free" Trip to Zinnlandia Scripted

There is one "travelogue" which people from all of our freedom-experiencing generations, and from any of our countries, will not want to miss. Takuan Seiyo, in this fascinating article from The Brussels Journal, sends us a, "Postcard from Zinnlandia".

Zinnlandia is the multiculturally diverse experience which has for too long been "enjoyed" by all of us, no matter in which haven of socialistic experimentation (formerly known as free Western countries) we currently reside.

We can all identify only too well our own feelings, reflected in the following descriptive passage:

"And now I am heading out of this second key city of Zinnlandia, the first one being Seattle. The train’s computer announces each stop first in English, then in Spanish. I catch a few familiar words: puerta, izquierdia, por favor, la ligna roja, aeropuerto. I feel like my mother did when the Soviets invaded her hometown in 1939 and within one week of entry changed its name and all its public and store signs into Russian written in Cyrillic letters that no one could read."

Near the beginning of Mr. Seiyo's work of artful fact, the following setting descriptively relates the nature of his (our) surroundings, and thereby gives us the meaning of Zinnlandia:

"Two hefty women in Birkenstocks and Nordic sweaters sit on the bench in front of me. They are either academics or lesbians or both. Portland is a babe magnet for this kind of babes.

One of them, silver bangles jangling, is showing a souvenir purchase to the other. It’s a garden gnome, complete with a red cap and a Walt Disney tunic stretched taut over a rotund belly. The face, though, is less jovial than one expects on a gnome. An etched inscription on the base reads, “Howard Zinn.”

We are leaving Zinnlandia, after all – that great land of the Pacific Northwest, rich in good wine, including zinfandel, and other bounties of nature. Howard Zinn and his doppelgänger, Noam Chomsky, are to the coastal zones of this blessed land what St. Patrick is to the Emerald Isle. And, like Finlandia, Jutlandia and Hollandia, Zinnlandia too has much Northern European DNA.
Zinnlandia is in Amerikka – that racist, capitalist land of injustice, sexism, specieism, lookism, theism, militarism and homophobia. More intensive efforts to shape a new world monetary structure will have to be undertaken, with some consequent risk to the present relatively favorable American position."

There is little doubt that Brzezinski knew exactly what kind of response this action would evoke from patriotic Americans. At the moment we are witnessing America's favorable economic position being drastically eroded as the dollar continues its freefall, with former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan's endorsement.

The great dream of world governance comes at a price. Ancient ideas of national sovereignty have no place in the modern era. Sacrifices must be made.

What is in the long-term vital interests of the US? I don't think that the poster at South Africa Sucks agrees that the present US policies are conducive to the interests of South Africa or other African nations. But then, what does he have to say about US policies?

About the same as Americans have.

A video which is at the site brings out the story quite well. It is about 10 minutes long, and about a year old, but it graphically illustrates present US policy, which I contend is not American policy, but a policy adhered to by agents from a corporate class for the benefit of private interests. Equatorial Guinnea- the sad reality

Do we really think that the petty Minister who is the subject of this video is getting more proceeds than some of the private interests who benefit from the perversion of American foreign policy? You know that his take would be inconsequential as compared to those private interests and their agents, some of whom themselves, are governmental employees.

We will never have credibility in the world so long as our policy runs in this manner. Nor will we deserve it. We, the people, will inherit the problems resulting from such misfeasance/malfeasance, and none of the benefits, even were we to choose to align with some of the scoundrels we "diplomatically" presently consort with.

Until our US policy is taken out from the sphere of private interests and returned to the public interests, matters will become worse. The problem is that they will become worse for Americans as well as for the other people in the world who should be able to, with at least some optimism, look to us for help.

Cow Farts and Air Traffic Control

The Telegraph is reporting on a couple of new developments on the political correctness front. You may wonder who has been hired for the pilots at St Mary's airport on the Isles of Scilly after you read about the, "Air traffic controller advert for candidate with 20/20 vision written in Braille".

You will know also what Al Gore and the global warming groupies have been inhaling when you read about the, "Cow farts collected in plastic tank for global warming study".

From viewing the photo in the latter article, I'm inclined to believe that the airport may have been successful in finding an aircraft designer from one of their previous ads. Let's hope that the "successful" candidate was not required to use braille, but was unable to smell.
