As you can see from the picture we had well over a foot of fairly wet snow. All the snow that you see fell in a little over 24 hours. The ground was pretty well clear until yesterday morning.<br /><br />Linda and I stayed home today....the roads are a mess. This snow won't last. There's too much sunlight and above freezing temperatures. But there's sure going to be a lot of water running around here for the next week or so.<br /><br />I can't help but think about the migrating birds that have come this way. The geese that arrived a couple of weeks ago must be having trouble finding sufficient food, not to mention the smaller birds that are less obvious.<div style='clear:both; text-align:RIGHT'><a href='http://picasa.google.com/blogger/' target='ext'><img src='http://photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif' alt='Posted by Picasa' style='border: 0px none ; padding: 0px; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: initial; -moz-background-origin: initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: initial;' align='middle' border='0' /></a></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/20407004-5284511244937096520?l=awildolivebranch.blogspot.com'/></div>David in Alaskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05576251518506124905noreply@blogger.com0
