Monument of Dr. Jose Rizal in Madrid

Before we visited Spain,I really didn't know that there is a monument of Dr. Jose Rizal.But when I saw the map of madrid,I was immediately intrigued by the name of the place which is Islas Filipinas.I told my husband,wow Pangga,there is a name of the street here for the islands of Philippines.So when I saw a Filipino,I asked him,what can I see there and he told me that I can see the monuments of Rizal.I told my husband,we have to go there,I couldn't miss the opportunity to see the place.It was intented for the 100th years of Philippine Independence from Spaniards year 1998.

I was very proud seeing the monument of our national hero in Madrid.So guys,if you visit Madrid in the future,don't forget to pass the place.I'm sure just like me,you will be proud too :)

A nice sink for the kitchen

Have you heard about these zero radius sinks?I'm just curious about this kind of sink coz I saw one in the magazine that features a contemporary type of home.I saw this stainless steel sink with it's matching faucet and accessories that made me uttered wow!It's really a nice sink for the kitchen.How I wish our kitchen has a modern touch.

From spring till now,we always have some flowers in our home.Since we have many varieties of roses with different colors,hortensia and some flowers that I don't know the name,our flower vases are always filled with them.It saves us a lot from buying flowers in the shop.I love having plants and flowers at home coz it gives relaxation just by looking at them.These are the flowers that I picked from our garden.

Piano lesson

Eversince when I was a kid,I was really fascinated to pianists who really play piano very well.I even told my self that one day I can play it too :).Since I like to sing,it would be great if I sing a song and at the same time I play the music too.

If only we have a piano,I would really take a lesson.Now,there are sites that give lessons online.It is a lot easier and more accessible to people who loves piano at the comfort of their homes.

My experience in home for the aged

When I saw the video about the lives of old residents in the home for the aged in the Philippines,I remembered the time that I was doing a month long OJT in the maison de retraite.It was so hard to take care more than 5 residents.You have to bathe,feed,clean and entertain them and not to mention that many of them are bigger than me so it's really difficult whenever I lift them.Some of them are using adult diapers which are very practical.I remembered,it happened to me twice that I clean residents that made pooh on the bed and even scattered all over their body.That was really disgusting!So it's better that all of the residents should use adult diapers everytime.

It's been so many nights now that I don't have a good sleep and have some back pains too.I guess it started when we replace our old mattress.The new one is so firm and not a comfortable bed to sleep on.How I wish we have a sleep number bed so that we can adjust the firmness and the comfort level that we want to.I'm sure,with that kind of bed,people can have a good night sleep and well rested when they wake up in the morning.

Yeah,it's sale time here in France and it beginned last wednesday.Oh lalala!there are many products that are 50 percent off,it's really a great time to buy whether clothes,electronics and household items,you can get a good price.Our favorite online store even has a big promo on their televisions.Just looking at the prices,I'm sure,you will really want to buy.Too bad,we already bought a plasma TV last year and to think that we have 2 TVs,so it's enough already.It's just that the price of their televisions and some electronic products are very interesting and tempting :)

Finally it's summer!!!!I really like this season.It seems that I am in the Philippines right now,it's really hot!Here in Montlucon,it's 36 degree celcius and it's only the beginning of summer here in France.I'm excited for the series of barbecue that we will gonna do at home.It's the only time that we can eat and cook outdoor so we have to take advantage the nice weather that we are having right now.Bye bye cloudy day,hello Mr sunshine :)

Our destination when we went to Portugal was in the southern part which is Villamoura.It is part of the Algarve region that is very known to the tourist for it's beautiful beaches,hotels,resorts,restaurants and golf courses.Aside from Villamoura,we visited Albufeira,Loule,Faro,Tavera,Quarteira and Loule.All of these places has it's own beauty to boast.

But you know what my husband liked to visit places where we can see how locals really live and not the place where tourist usually go.Oh by the way,it was really hot in Portugal,when we were there,the temperature usually around 41 degrees celcius or even more!

Oh the other day,I noticed that I have many blackheads on my face :(.Before,I used many products just to get rid of them or just squeezed it when I get mad staring my face on the mirror but it only worsened and damaged my face.I even had some little scars on my face :(.It's really hard to have an oily skin like mine.How I wish I could find an effective blackhead remover.I just want to have a smooth and clean face.

Nice apartment in Portugal

It's been two days since we arrived from our vacation in Portugal.We stayed long at the southern part where you can find the nice beaches and resorts.I can say that this time,our apartment in that resort was the most beautiful compare to the previous resorts we have been too.The bathroom itself has it's own jacuzzi and it's bathroom faucet is so nice too with lovely design.Not only that our balcon was facing to the large swimming pool and the kitchen was superb!We really enjoyed our stay at the resort.

Looking for pressure washer

We are still here in Portugal having our vacation but im thinking already the chores that we will be doing at home once we arrive.Aside from mowing again the lawn and cut the grasses,we have to clean our terrace and some outdoor parts of the house.My husband told me that we have to look for the pressure washers at the store near to us or at the online store that offers much lesser price with the same quality.But for the meantime we will enjoy the remaining days of our vacation here in the south of portugal.

Alex's first visit to Disneyland

Last week we went to Disneyland again in Paris to let Alex experience the magic of Mickey :).It was Alex's first visit.We decided to take him there since he likes mickey and friends.It is one of his favorite cartoons and everytime he sees their photos,it makes him happy.

When we were there,at first he didn't enjoy much,he just looked around but in the afternoon when we took some rides,he started to smile and enjoy.He was happy and really enjoyed the parade.He was able to see the cartoon characters that he usually watch on TV.

Maybe we will go back there when Alex is big enough to appreciate the park and rides.

Cross country mover

Before my husband retired from his job,we already planned to relocate and live permanently to my country.We asked some people what are the best things to do when moving to different country especially if you want to bring many big and valuable things.Someone told us to look for good and reputable cross country movers.Now that my husband is retired already ,hope that it will push through.I want that we live closer to my family and besides the cost of living there is a lot cheaper compare here.

Deer resistant plants

I love to have many plants in my garden that's why I started buying two or three plants every week.I don't buy a lot since it's also expensive.I just hope all the flowers and plants I planted will grow well.By the way,I have read an article on the net that it's good to have deer resistant plants if there are deers in the area where you live coz sooner or later,they will find out your garden.It's really useless to buy many plants and have a beautiful garden if deers will only eat them and leave your garden messy.So it's nice if you plant some deer resistant plants in your garden.Good thing that we don't have deers here in our place.

I really wanted to lose weight but I couldn't stop eating a lot,blame it to the yummy foods that I prepared :).It's really my problem now coz I get bigger and bigger everyday especially now that I stopped working and just stayed at home.I couldn't resist eating a lot,baking cakes and some sweet foods.I know there are lots of appetite suppressants around right now that can help to supress my appetite.With these,I will surely shed some kilos and hopefully be slim again.

I love Charice so from time to time,I go to you tube to watch her new videos.Last month she was a guest of a singing contest show in San Remo Italy.She sung,I have nothing,I will always love you,The Prayer,an Italian song and Listen.In this video she sung the song of Beyonce as her own song,it seems that she owns this song IMHO.She amazed and wowed all the audience again.What a great great voice!

By the way,she might be in Italy again on the last week of May.
