Thought I better update my blog again

Well we had a good day yesterday at the LPD crop, we made it "Funny Hats Day" and most of us turned up with a silly hat on, we had a scream and the hats also kept us nice and warm lol. I made some cupcakes for the crop as it is my birthday this month, they all went so they must have been ok, I forgot to take a picture of them but never mind.

I managed to complete a CJ entry and also completed 3 LO's so it was a productive day. Gill also managed to complete a LO and it was lovely, well done Gill

Also went to see Zak this week, here is another picture of him which was taken when he was 3 1/2 weeks old

He was weighed again this week and he now weighs 10lb 15oz lol (6 weeks old)

Well what a weekend we had. Me and my 3 sisters took Mum to Amsterdam for her birthday (mums choice lol) We went 17-19 January, on one of those P&O ferry trips.

We set off from Leeds to pick mum up then drive back to Hull to catch the ferry. I drove so was shattered. The boat was fab. Anyway checked in etc, got changed and went for our tea which we had pre-booked and some drinks. Food was fab and it was an all you could eat buffet. Anyhow decided about 12ish to go to bed cos we were shattered. Gets in bed and OMG the boat was rocking like a good 'un. I was scared sh!tless. Lindsey kept saying "are you ok" and I was like "no I aren't" the crossing was horrendous and I didn't think we were going to make it to Amsterdam. Needless to say we didn't sleep AT ALL.

Next morning we got up and had breakfast and then docked in Amssterdam. Coach picked us up and ferried us into the city. Well what a laugh we had. We even went into a peep show lol (well some of us did) we had a fab day although it did rain for most of it. We didn't have any "cake" though, we daren't lol. We spent the day in Amsterdam and had to be back for the coach at 5pm.

Gets on the coach and OMG how glad were we that we had stayed away from the "cake" people were being sick and looked ill. Serves them right lol

Gets back on the boat and again went and had tea and a couple of drinks. Think we caused havoc on the boat though cos a little miserable man was playing the piano so we started singing along lol. I don't think any of us have laughed so much. we had beely and cheek ache lol.

It was a fantastic weekend and most importantly Mum loved it. Here are a few pics lol

Well what a fantastic day I had yesterday

My SIL's waters broke on Tuesday morning (baby wasn't due until 21 January) so she had to go into hospital Tuesday night to be induced. This didn't work so at 6am New Years Eve they decided to put her on a drip to try and start her contractions. Well my SIL has 2 children already and was advised to contact my brother to go to the hospital as the speed she gives birth is amazing lol. So my brother rings me at 6.15 to say he is on his way for me (I was her birthing partner too) so off we go to the hospital.

We sat all morning with nothing much happening at all. About 1pm she did start getting contractions but she couldn't even feel them lol So we sat and laughed, talked and watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, she wasn't impressed with my singing though :lol:

Then all of a sudden, about 6.55 (whilst we were watching Hollyoaks) she goes OUCH I think I need some gas and air lol

She had a few contractions which she dealt with amazingly (only using gas and air) and she didn't scream or anything

Then about 7.30pm she says, I need to push. Well 2 pushes later and out pops my new baby nephew :) OMG Angela was amazing (again) I was crying as usual. So baby (no name yet) was born on 31 December 2008 at 7.38pm and weighes 7lb 8oz

I was honoured to be allowed to spend this magical time with them so thank you so much Mick and Angela it was fantastic :)

This is the 2nd time I have been with Angela when she has given birth as I was there when she gave birth to my other nephew in 2003

Congratulations to you both xxx

I even managed to make it home and go to a friends New Years Eve Party and have a few drinks (well a few too many actually as I am suffering today) lol

Well another Christmas Day has been and gone. We had a lovely day thoughand we all got some lovely presents. DD did well too and hasn't been off the Wii Fit since she got it lol

We had a lovely dinner at home, just the 3 of us (just how we like it) then went to MIL's in the afternoon for tea and to see the rest of DH's family

Boxing Day was spent playing and we also hit the sales and managed to grab a few bargains which was good

Today we are off to my sisters at is is my nephew's 1st birthday, Happy Birthday Jack xxx

I can't believe how quick another year has passed, its scary

Good evening

Well what a day I had yesterday. Picked DD up from school, who then said she didn't feel well. She then started being sick from 4pm until about 10pm, she was sick every 15 minutes OMG it was terrible. I felt so sorry for her but there was nothing I could do to help her. I just held her hair back whilst she puked :( She seems a bit brighter today so will hopefully be back at school tomorrow

I am also trying to get myself organised as it is the LPD Christmas Crop on Saturday for 12 hours. Still have a few bits to get and gooody bags to wrap. Also have parents evening on Thursday, it will be the first one since Hannah started high school.

Well hello again, thought I better come and update again

Just got back from a fab holiday (well actually I got back Saturday) I went to Torremolinos with my mum for a week. We always have a week away together in November/December. The weather was gorgeous and was a bit of a shock to the system when we landed back in Manchester lol

We went to Gibraltar for the day and was convinced to go in the cable car to the top of the rock to see the monkeys, OMG how scary was that. I sat on the floor of the cable car lol We saw a few monkeys which were quite funny (attached a couple of pics)

The first pic is a picture showing the size of the "Rock" which I went up OMG, you can see the cablecar

Also off to the crop this weekend then next month is the 12 hour xmas one :D

OMG 3 weeks since I last blogged, where does time go?

Well we went to a Halloween Party last night at our friends, we had a fab time but am suffering for it today lol

I am also trying to get organised a bit for the crop in December as I go away in a couple of weeks. Everyone seems to be looking forward to it which is good news.

Been to see Susy a couple of times and it was lovely to chat and catch up. Me, Trina and Chloe went one day too and we all got to have a cuddle with gorgeous Chloe

Also going to visit Hazel this week as she is recovering from having her tonsils out, my turn to do a bit of CIC lol

Well it has been an emotional day today. Started off well with everyone coming to the crop, even Trina managed it with baby Chloe (although I didn't manage a cuddle). Managed to get 2 layouts done too

Then unfortunately I received a text from my friend Susy to say that her husband Stewart had sady passed away this afternoon. After that everything just went downhill, I think everyone just lost their mojo and was just devastated for Susy and her family.

So sending massive hugs to Susy and family at this terrible time and we are all here for you when you need us xx

Well I haven't posted in ages but have been busy with other things

Went to a crop yesterday "Pink Booby Crop" in Golbourne. Was supposed to be going with my bezzy mate Hazel but unfortunately her FIL has been poorly so she was unable to go. So I went with my friends Marie and Jane instead (well they kindly took me lol) Had a good time and met some lovely people including Cal who was a hoot, she was so funny and made me laugh, and her singing is something else lol Manaed to complete 3 Lo's inbetween chatting and laughing though

They today I saw Hazel who unfortunately had received the news that her FIL passed away this morning, so sending lots of love to Hazel and Kev and if there is anything I can do let me know xx

She also brought me a couple of bits from her holidays including some grungeboard, glitter KI memories lacy paper, bazzil edges and some stamps I ordered, they are fabby and I can't wait to have a play so thank you Hazel aka ma bitch)

My parents were also in Leeds for the weekend attending a very old friends Golden Wedding Celebrations so I had them round to mine today for sunday lunch, and I am off shopping with them tomorrow before they go back home.

Hello again

Well had another good crop today, lots of fun and yummy buns

I am surprised they don't ban is sometimes lol the conversations we have are fascinating rofl

Trina popped in with Chloe so I got to have a little cuddle :)

Susy also popped in so I gave her a hug too, cos think she needs them at the moment

Then Hazel came back to mine and we attempted to alter candles which worked quite well until we realised we had also altered my kitchen table pmsl Luckily Stazon remover and lots fo scrubbing got rid of the evidence lol

Just waiting until 9pm (in about 2 mins) before I post the new crop thread and everyone books their place lol. Hope it isn't as manic as last month, my head was up my arse rofl

Managed to do 2 LO's today too :)

Well what a busy weekend I had

Friday "ma bitch" aka Hazel came over to watch the BB9 Final. We had pizza and sweets lol and had a good time watching, we were soo glad Rex didn't win lol

Then Sunday DH was invited to play in a golf competition with Hazels OH. So Hazel dropped Kev off and came to mine for breakfast lol We then went back to the Golf Club to meet the boys for lunch

We were sat ages waiting for them and I was panicing that DH was holding them up as I have never played golf so had no idea if Dh was good or crap lol

They eventually turned up and I was glad to hear that Dh hadn't held them up at all lol

We then had lunch and came home, we had a lovely day so thanks again Kev and Hazel xx

We found out later the same day that they had come 7th in the competition, which Dh was very chuffed about

Well DD went back to school yesterday, it was her first day at High School. She was so excited and was up and ready for 6.50am lol

I shed a few tears (being the sad sac that I am)

She had a fab day was rearing to go again this morning lol

It was also my 13th wedding anniversary and I got some lovely flowers from DH and a lovely card. 13years OMG its a lifetime lol

Anyway here is a couple of pics of DD on her way to school

I can't believe how grown up she is now. Doesn't seem two minutes ago she was a little baby. I suppose I will just have to get used to the fact that she is growing up, but she will always be my baby x

Wow its ages since I have blogged

So as I am up early (thanks to the noisy dustbin men) I thought I may as well come and update my blog

DD has been on school holidays the past 6 weeks and has a good time. She visited her grandparents twice and spent a week in Skegness and a few days in Bridlington with them. However whilst in Bridlington she had a bit of a trauma. She was drinking a can of coke and all of a sudden started screaming (my dad who has no patience whatsoever started shouting) and its turns our a wasp had ended up in Hannahs drink and had stung her lip. She ran into the bathroom and was very brave and pulled the sting out. My Auntie then put some vinegar on and gave her an ice lolly, she ended up with a very fat lip, bless her. She is fine now thank goodness but it was the first time she had ever been stung, she is very careful now when drinking from a can. I am just thankful it didn't sting her tongue.

DD also received the "Student Of The Month Award" at Karate, so came home with another badge and a trophy. She has to take the trophy back but she gets to keep the badge, I am so proud of her. I have attached a picture of her with her trophy (she doesnt like the pic because she is sweaty on it lol)

We also went to a BBQ at a friends which was a good laugh, plenty of food and drink to be had.

Me and DD also watched Mama Mia and we loved it, DH wasn't impressed but that may have been because I was singing lol Will definitely watch it again

I am also on a scrapping stash diet with a few friends. We decided we had to "earn" our stash money ie 50p per LO, £1 per CJ and its amazing how quick it adds up. My total to date is £23.05. I have completed plenty of LO's as you can imagine lol - I have attached a few recent LO's I have completed

And last but not least DD starts High School tomorrow. She is so excited.

I just can't believe that my baby is growing up. It doesn't seem two minutes since she started Primary School. We have done all the shopping for new uniform, shoes, PE kit, stationery etc and she is all packed ready for tomorrow. I have made her a "Good Luck" card and also a letter to put in with the card. It is also my 13th wedding anniversary tomorrow so its going to be a very mixed day of emotions. Luckily for me (unlucky for my friend) Hazel my good friend is coming to spend the day with me so I don't mope about the house (bless her)

Well today it was crop day :) Had a lovely day, plenty of chat, yummy cakes and I got a present off Marie (Lush goodies yum) Even managed to do a LO :lol: Had a chauffeur (sp) for the day too (thanks Hazel) lol

Annette taught me how to make a Waterfall card too, so thanks Annette :)

Also I am now officially on a stash diet. Myself, Hazel, Lesley, Susy, Marie, Erika and Trina have decided we can't buy any more stash for a while. There are rules but too many to list here lol so we will see how long we all last

Hellloooo

Just got back from a fab week in Scotland. Dh had to go do some work there and as DD was at my parents I decided to tag along. We had a fantastic time and stayed at Carnousite Golf Hotel. Our room is the one with the big balcony on the right

We had a brill time and walked on the beach, ate fish and chips, visited Monifeith, Broughton Ferry, Panmurefield Village (craft shop there) and on our way home we called in at Gretna Green, someone was getting married too

Well DD finally left Primary School yesterday and it was a very emotional day for both of us

Emotional for Hannah as she will not see some of her friends again and emotional for me as I have to admit my "baby" is growing up

Here are a couple of pics of her top that everyone at school signed for her, I also made her a little book which people also signed. It was a very big day for us and I am still in shock that she is going to high school in September

Well I am still recovering from our weekend away. We had such a laugh and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves (I think they did). There was loads of eating and scrapping done lol

Had a lovely meal on the Friday in the pub, and then a lovely roast chicken dinner on the Sat. Loads of cake was eaten in between (thanks Annette and Marie). Think it will take me all week to recover though lol

Well what a miserable wet day again it has been today :(

DD arrived back home last night, she has been to Buckden with her school. They were caving, walking (4.5 miles) and high rope walking

She had a fantastic time but arrived home very very wet and very tired

Anyway today we decided to go to the driving range so DH and DD could hit a few balls. They had a fab time and also got extra balls and free tea and coffee

Evening all

Well had a nice day today, went to do some CIC for my friend Hazel (yes you are famous again lol). They have just come back from the USA. Anyway gets to Hazels and she had bought me some pressies then said "oh Kev bought you this one" and its a Daisy Duck rofl Its fab, all them miles away and he remembered me (even my DH doesn't do that lol)
