We check on them everyday, and today we saw some little baby cardinals! Very appropriate for Mother's Day.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_DLTK1dqBqQg/SCcwsEjmyeI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/qhHQQcp54JU/s320/baby_cardinals+reduced.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199177828517988834" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_DLTK1dqBqQg/SCcwsUjmyfI/AAAAAAAAAJY/OXBKPmPMKVU/s320/baby_cardinals+(6)+reduced.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199177832812956146" />

Update: we got some neat pictures and video of the mother bird feeding her babies:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp0.blogger.com/_DLTK1dqBqQg/SCdaOUjmyhI/AAAAAAAAAJo/nE-qle-FtXQ/s320/IMG_0171_reduced.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199223496905247250" />

It was also interesting to see the mother bird eating the egg shells. It looks like one of the eggs hasn't hatched.Carlanoreply@blogger.com
