Bonnard the cat. I'm taking over this dumb blog for today because Louis is over in the corner sleeping, and I like to tell you people what he's really like.

He often suggests that I'm fat. I like to think of my crushing obesity as a physical reflection of the rage I hold inside against, well... all of you. I'm quite angry at the world! In fact, the only person I'm not prone to hissing at all the time is Kimberly, but that's only because I need at least one human available to feed me. You know... so I can overeat and create that physical reflection of my rage inside! See, it all makes sense really.

This is me eating a cupcake. I took it from someone else, and my sociopathic mindset allows me to do this without feeling emotion, or caring about the other person's sense of loss at all. Did you know serial killers exhibit the same set of tendencies as me? Hmm. Go figure.

Some people accuse me of writing pieces that are "dark" on this blog and that I am "filled with rage" and "need counseling." Yes, yes and get over yourself. A cat counselor? Please. I hiss in your general direction.

We got a notice from the vet that me and the dumb cat are due for a checkup. I noticed last time I was there they had to get a second vet tech to handle my "special needs" (i.e. claws of justice fueled by inner rage). I love going to the vet... it's oddly vindicating...

Now, where's that publish post button... ahhh... there it is...
Louis the Pughttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04616474847085996099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19791857.post-29713731791793790252008-06-27T12:30:00.001-04:002008-06-27T12:30:53.916-04:00Furley's not here

Furley's not here, originally uploaded by Louis the Pug.

That thing about sleep... spoke too soon.

Furley does not like cats. We're clean and nice, but they have issues with dogs. I have a theory that they probably got barked at once and wildly misinterpreted the kindly "hello" as "dude, I so want to bite you in the butt." We need translators to help with the next round of negotiations. Anyways, they sicked the Park Police on us, so we get the boot. Luckily, I'm not one to direct scorn and ridicule in my blog. Furley was displeased with this and got all in my face. He was like woof woof, growl, woof woof... so I was all burf burf - burf burf burf (I don't take kindly to people woofin' in my grill, even if it's my boy Furley). Anyways, we tried to hug it out, but it was pretty apparent that staying there was going to be an issue this weekend. Problem was, Kimberly and Tim were jetting down to South Florida for some business, and the place they were staying at had some dogist neighbors that woulda ratted me out. Soooo... an early morning phone call to my boy Juan, and I'm staying at Casa Happy Pack! I love Juan, as you know. He treats me so good that I decided to be a model for him for his new website.
Check out happypackdc.com - you might recognize a certain lovable pug on the front page! He's super nice and leaves little notes for Tim and Kimberly when he comes back with me. Most them include my bathroom proclivities (which I think should be private, but whatevs) and how I fare in the waters of Rock Creek Park. If you want the hook up, email me at louisthepug -at- gmail -dot- com and I'll give you the scoop. Juan's the man, yo!

Because it's summer (note: I recognize it's not summer until later in the month, but when we hit triple digits, it's summer by my non-rotation of the earth around the sun standards!), Kimberly fed me some ice cream.... problem is I can't lick down. That may be amusing to you, but I find it to be problematic when I have ice cream on my bottom chin. Perhaps.

Last night was a good start... I watched the Flames burn the Sharks in Game 1 action. Tonight, however, is all about Detroit taking it to Nashville. I expect good things this year. The other excitement in hockey is that my local DC team is making waves... we'll see if the Caps do well. Tim is going to see them on Sunday, but they're a buncha flaming dogists and don't let pugs in. That's ok...
