Here are some of the work on Page 21 where you can see how I normally work on a page. Usual there are various and countless sketches I have to do until Im happy with the result of the composition and posing of a character. That makes it hard to be fast enough with the pages but I want to have all characters acting in a way shwoing their personality right. The two characters with the big rabbit ear like tentacles are really hard to draw " Rasal " and " Usar " do look simple to<br />but are hard to pose I can tell you :D<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1972789462190720530-6864904691495071592?l=atelierkiecker.blogspot.com'/></div>Thorsten Kieckernoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1972789462190720530.post-90463259492380812572008-10-30T08:50:00.001-07:002008-10-31T08:22:15.004-07:00Moving on with " Ria"<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3l9_-9uT878/SQnYxPx7moI/AAAAAAAAACo/eB2HLEPLN2c/s1600-h/RIA_01.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 226px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3l9_-9uT878/SQnYxPx7moI/AAAAAAAAACo/eB2HLEPLN2c/s320/RIA_01.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5262975980120283778" border="0" /></a>It has long been rumoured about the Project " RIA ", but with the help of Fabian Schlaga for color and the Stenarts Ltd. for getting partners on board to push that project on to other plattforms like Game and Animation, we are back on track! Within the next couple of month we try to push the pages the best we can. Fabian has been busy because he started to study in London and continues to do so in Germany now. I had been busy getting the Stenarts Ltd. formed and so we both decided to have a break for a while as it wouldnt be the same if someone else does the color or pencils and as in fact its our baby so we wouldnt do so anyway.<br /><br />We possible open another blog for Ria to keep you updated, so come back once in a while to check out how the project proceed.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1972789462190720530-9046325949238081257?l=atelierkiecker.blogspot.com'/></div>Thorsten Kieckernoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1972789462190720530.post-28291648356783466332008-03-31T09:01:00.000-07:002008-03-31T09:04:50.417-07:00Another Dragon<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp2.blogger.com/_3l9_-9uT878/R_ELO9rk3LI/AAAAAAAAACQ/45WSEqNEs7w/s1600-h/cute_dragon_14.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_3l9_-9uT878/R_ELO9rk3LI/AAAAAAAAACQ/45WSEqNEs7w/s320/cute_dragon_14.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5183936997783559346" border="0" /></a>What else to say, its just another dragon never been used by the client and so here comes his chance to get seen :D<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1972789462190720530-2829164835678346633?l=atelierkiecker.blogspot.com'/></div>Thorsten Kieckernoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1972789462190720530.post-33168481368941518392008-03-28T09:40:00.000-07:002008-03-28T11:32:55.898-07:00Nintendo DS Colors<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_3l9_-9uT878/R-04wtrk3II/AAAAAAAAAB8/xgZxI1fX--c/s1600-h/robot_01.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_3l9_-9uT878/R-04wtrk3II/AAAAAAAAAB8/xgZxI1fX--c/s320/robot_01.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5182861155720551554" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: left;">I bought a Nintendo DS and now painting everywhere on my little Cintiq. This is one of my first paintings and its really cool to use the program for getting ideas nailed down.<br /></div><br />The program has been developed by Jens Andersson,<br />at his website they say:<br /><span class="postbody1"><span style=""></span></span><br />" Colors! is a simplistic digital painting application for Nintendo DS based on modern painting-techniques developed for drawing tablets in programs like Photoshop. By taking advantage of the pressure sensitivity of the DS touch-screen it becomes a<br />perfect portable digital sketch-book. "<br />And yes it is as they said a perfect portable digital sketchbook.<br /><br />After I succeeded my theory test for my driving license, I do have more time at the evenings and will update more often images painted on this small machine.<br /><br />There you have your 2nd Post :D<br /><br />STEN<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1972789462190720530-3316848136894151839?l=atelierkiecker.blogspot.com'/></div>Thorsten Kieckernoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1972789462190720530.post-44886465314041664702007-08-16T01:20:00.001-07:002007-08-16T02:25:21.858-07:00Cute Dragon Sketch<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp1.blogger.com/_3l9_-9uT878/RsQX4RIW1oI/AAAAAAAAAAc/h_mBwFqMR4A/s1600-h/cute_dragon.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp1.blogger.com/_3l9_-9uT878/RsQX4RIW1oI/AAAAAAAAAAc/h_mBwFqMR4A/s320/cute_dragon.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5099226933528811138" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Cute Dragon, are one of the sketches a client didnt liked.
