Alhamdulillah!

Saya dapat menunaikan kewajipan berkorban tahun ini di kampong isteri saya di Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur.

Memang lain suasana berkorban dikampong berbanding dibandar.

Dengan kemudahan berkorban lembu di tanah sendiri beserta ahli keluarga dan sanak saudara.

Tak payah nak pening kepala meminta izin tuantanah sebab dah memang tanah keluarga.

Susah hendak berkorban dibandar. Hanya ditanah milik masjid sahaja boleh nak berkorban ini. Itupun hanya sesetengah masjid sahaja. Kat Kuantan ni memang meriah. Setiap tahun kami berkorban dikampong. Tak sama suasana berkorban ditempat lain.

Kepada sekelian umat Islam, saya sekeluarga mengucapkan 'Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha!'

Semoga pengorbanan kita diterima Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Berkorban ini adalah simbol kecintaan kita kepada Allah Azza Wa Jalla yang memerintahkan Nabi Allah Ibrahim Alaihis Salam mengorbankan putera sulung kesayangan baginda, Nabi Allah Ismail Alaihis Salam.

Kita berkorban kasih sayang, harta benda, penat lelah dan kekadang kebahagiaan kita sendiri untuk anak anak dan kaum keluarga.

Ada yang mengenang budi dan pengorbanan kita sementara kita masih sedang hidup didunia ini. Kekadang ada juga yang tak sedar diri di untung dan tidak mengambil perhatian akan pengorbanan seseorang itu.

Biarlah! Insya Allah akan sampai satu detik dan ketika dimana pengorbanan kita itu akan disedari oleh mereka. Kita berbudi tidak mengharapkan pembalasan. Ikhlas fisabilillah!

Semoga di hari Raya Aidil Adha ini, kita berkorban dengan ikhlas demi menyahut seruan Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Insya Allah di Yaum al Mahsyar nanti, kita kan diberi kemudahan yang dijanjikan Ar Rahman Ar Rahim, Sang Maha Pencipta kita sekelian.

The blasphemy of allowing Kaffirs to address their deities as Allah!

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, respected readers and fellow bloggers.

I am referring to the subject matter of Kaffirs who wish to call their deities as 'Allah'!

This has been an issue of contention between the Christian Catholic Church here in Malaysia and our Islamic Development Department of Malaysia ~ JAKIM and also The Home Ministry.

The Catholic Church of Malaysia has even gone to the extent of suing the Malaysian Government for disallowing them to use the word or term of 'Allah' to be used as the name of their deity or object of worship in their weekly church publication, The Herald Magazine.

We read that the majority of Malaysian Catholics are not happy with the banning of using the word 'Allah' in their publications.

I read an article attributed to Dr. Muhd Nur Manuty, Chairman of the Religious Understanding Bureau, of Parti KeADILan Rakyat, dated 22nd November, 2009 that has been published by a blogger friend of mine, here.

I followed the link and saw that the article is actually written and published by Dr. Mohd Nur Manuty, a former ABIM President.

His points of view may please the Christians and other Kaffirs but I think that it is important that we look at it in depth and try to understand what the Quran really has to say about the matter?

To those who are quick to swallow such a statement that someone from amongst the Muslim community who comes forth and says it's not only okay but absolutely quite positive to have Non Muslims address their deities as Allah, I would strongly advice that they also need to look at the issue from the true Islamic perspective.

To the average person, the Quranic verse from Surah Az Zumar Chapter 39 Verse 38 and the other from Surah Al Imran Chapter 3 Verse 64 that Dr.Manuty quoted might come across as giving the Christians or any other Kaffirs the right to call upon their deities as Allah but to me, I would advice my fellow Muslims and also concerned Christians to ponder upon what the other following verses of the Surah Al Imran truly has to convey?

38. Wala-in saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawati waal-arda layaqoolunna Allahu qul afaraaytum ma tadAAoona min dooni Allahi in aradaniya Allahu bidurrin hal hunna kashifatu durrihi aw aradanee birahmatin hal hunna mumsikatu rahmatihi qul hasbiya Allahu AAalayhi yatawakkalu almutawakkiloona

38. If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "(Allah)". Say: "See ye then? 71. Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

In discussing this matter, it is important that those of us, who are capable of rational thought and reasoning, be crystal clear as to the subject of faith in Almighty Allah and that of His Creation which those who are Kaffirs have faith in as their god or deities?

In Surah Az Zumar, Chapter 39 Verse 38, Almighty Allah says : "If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "(Allah)". Say: "See ye then? The things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust."

If we who are Muslims ~ Believers in Allah ask the Kaffirs @ Disbelievers in Allah as to who it is that has created the heavens and the earth, the Kaffirs would be sure to answer 'Allah'.

This is what Almighty Allah says.

Yet those who deny Him being Almighty God of us all will not accept Him being the Almighty and Supreme Creator of us all.

So comes the question as to which 'Allah' are they asking to be allowed to address as their god or deity?

I would like to ask the Muslim reading this?

Is there any other supreme being whom we can call as Allah?

Preposterous, isn't it?

Surely, there is none save for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala!

Any Muslim who comes up with saying that it is allowed by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Himself for the Kaffirs to address whatever it is that they submit themselves to as 'Allah' are only misleading themselves and those misguided fellow members of the human kind.

"The things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?"

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala clearly points out that 'The things' that the Kaffirs invoke besides Allah!

Now, to those who can understand what it is that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is saying, must come to acknowledge that 'the things' that the Kaffirs are calling upon do not have the right to be addressed as Himself.

Crystal clear prohibition there.

How can we who are Muslims allow the Kaffirs to go ahead and address their deities or idols as 'Allah' when Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala condemns those who worship His Creation or any other deity instead?

It is the duty of Muslims to help guide our fellow Children of Adam Alaihis Salam to the truth and assist them in coming to terms of realizing that there is none other worthy of worship than Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

To allow our fellow humans to continue believing in something other than Allah and then to go ahead and declare that it is okay for them to call upon the things that they submit themselves to as 'Allah' is tantamount to assisting them in their disbelief and acts of Kufr towards Ar Rahman!

As a Muslim, we are enjoined by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to :

125. OdAAu ila sabeeli rabbika bialhikmati waalmawAAithati alhasanati wajadilhum biallatee hiya ahsanu inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu biman dalla AAan sabeelihi wahuwa aAAlamu bialmuhtadeena

125. Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord (Al Islam) with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.

Surah An Nahl Chapter 16 Verse 125, Holy Al Quran Al Karim.

How can we be content with allowing our fellow Children of Adam to carry on with their disbelief and go on misleading themselves into calling other things as 'Allah'?

Surely, we will be guilty of compliance with such Disbelief and taken to task later in the Yaum al Mahsyar for not doing our duty of calling all mankind to Allah's Way?

Those of us who do not help our brothers and sisters who have yet to come and learn about Allah Azza Wa Jalla will stand guilty of neglecting our roles as the Da'ee's and Da'eeyah's of Ar Rahman!

We who declare ourselves to be the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam should not fool ourselves that we have done our part by just letting our fellow mankind who have yet to see the light of Al Islam go ahead and continue in their disbelief towards Allah, by allowing them to call upon other makhluk @ creation as 'Allah'.

Can you understand what I am trying to share here?

To me, there is nothing to be considered as being positive when we who are Muslims know for sure that our misguided fellow Children of Adam are deluding themselves with believing in something that is not Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as we have come to believe in Him.

Misguidance can never come to be accepted as something positive.

How can we who are Muslims allow our fellow beings to call upon something that is not Ar Rahman as 'Allah' and contend ourselves that it is good and positive?

What have we done to share the true teachings of Islam with them?

We tend to dwell that we have done our part in Dakwah Al Islamiyyah when in actuality, we have done zilch.

We beguile ourselves that we have carried out Islamic Information efforts when the reality is that a majority of our fellow citizens do not truly understand what Islam is all about?

We come up with such statements saying that it's okay for Kaffirs to go ahead and address their deities and gods as Allah when they do not believe in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala as we do?

I say that it isn't fair for us to allow our fellow mankind to worship something else and call that something as Allah when it simply isn't so!

Please do your part in sharing the truth about Allah the Almighty and use your God given intelligence to explain about what we Muslims have come to accept and learn about Him.

Insya Allah, then we may see some of our fellow citizens here come to realize the difference between the thing that they wish to address as 'Allah' and as to who truly is our Lord and Master?

I would like to share with you a video that I took of the Director General of the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia where Dato' Hj Wan Mohd bin Dato' Sheikh Abdul Aziz explained to the media as to what the Islamic point of view with regard to the subject matter of the term ' Allah' being misused to call other entities as 'Allah'?

Try and understand what the Director General of JAKIM is saying here?

Dear fellow Penangites and concerned fellow Malaysians.

I received a comment today from a fellow blogger who is also a Penangite from Nibong Tebal, Mr.Ong Eu Soon who asks me whether I would be willing to join him in a movement to check the current DAP Penang State Government from robbing the Penangites from access to the foreshores of our beloved home island?

Naturally, being concerned very much with the way things are going on in Penang not any different from the way Koh Tsu Koon screwed us all by mismanaging our home island, I am all for Mr.Ong Eu Soon's crusade against mismanagement of Penang, no matter who the hell is ruining our home state?

It makes no difference whether it is the present DAP or the former GERAKAN party's who are robbing the islanders blind!

I wrote my concerns before here about the land conversions fiasco and now Mr.Ong Eu Soon, my fellow Penangite is raising the alarm!

The following excerpt is the actual news report from the Sun2Surf online news that exposes the current DAP State Government's daylight robbery of the Penang Islanders of their right of access to the foreshores which after land reclamation projects are turned into private lands and barred from the public!

The Penang State Government must not in any way rob the people of Penang their rightful access to the foreshores of the island. You are there as a public servant, not to lord it over us!

Prove to us that you are better than the previous government by upholding justice and not make a mockery of it!

So much for your 'Amar Makruf Nahi Mungkar' sloganeering!

Looks like that's all that the Pakatan Rakyat are good at?

No more foreshore, says Guan Eng

GEORGE TOWN (Oct 14, 2008) : The definition of foreshore and a clause under the National Land Code 1965 (NLC) that prevents such land from being made freehold has come into contention, with the Penang government saying coastal lands that are reclaimed can be converted to freehold status.

The reason: after reclamation, there is no more seabed and foreshore, and therefore it is within the state’s right to give private individuals freehold status for such areas.

"If a particular area is reclaimed, the foreshore and seabed cease to exist factually, physically and legally," Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng told a press conference today, accompanied by legal advisers.

The statement was prepared by Penang Development Corporations (PDC). With him were PDC general manager Datuk Rosli Jaffar, PDC legal adviser Zainun Abd Rahman and consultant Mureli Navaratnam.

"Therefore, the argument that foreshore and seabed will always exist, regardless of reclamation or otherwise, cannot hold water. In our view, the foreshore/seabed cease to exist upon reclamation."

Under the NLC, foreshore is defined as "all land lying between the shoreline and the low-water mark of ordinary spring tides".

Lim was responding to a report in theSun on Oct 8 which pointed out that the NLC prevents the authorities from disposing of alienated coastal land as freehold. Section 76 of the code stipulates that a state authority cannot dispose of "any part of the foreshore or sea-bed for a period exceeding ninety-nine years."

The report followed questions raised about the conversion of the Queensbay land area, which is reclaimed land, to freehold.

"We are of the opinion that the conversion of the leasehold status of the reclaimed land to freehold was done in accordance with the NLC," said Lim.

"Since the foreshore and seabed ceased to be of existence upon reclamation of the land, there is no issue of the foreshore and sea bed being converted into freehold status."

However, Batu Uban assemblyman S. Raveentharan, a practising lawyer whose constituency is seeing reclamation, expressed concern what would happen if all coastlines in Penang were to be reclaimed and placed under private hands.

He said it was important for the state to clarify how it intended to protect the foreshores. "If all the land along our coast is taken away, what would happen to the foreshore in Penang island and the mainland?" he asked

Raveen asked if future generations of Penangites would be able to enjoy beachfronts if the coastal areas became locked by reclaimed lands under freehold tenures.

Other lawyers who were consulted expressed concern that the removal of foreshore status may be used as an excuse to circumvent the NLC’s intention to protect such lands in the first place.

"The purpose of the proviso is to protect the coastal land by keeping it in permanent public ownership through the state," one lawyer said.

"When a party gains freehold tenure of such land, it prevents the public and the state from having it back, except by paying for it at market price."

Any rational seeing person will know that the area marked red is foreshore!

Since the last election, our political landscape has changed beyond recognition. Many have openly adopted partisan stand on issues affecting the people on their zealous quest to defend the Pakatan state governments whenever there is a criticism.

The Penang state government under the leadership of Lim Guan Eng surprised a lot of those who voted for change by pursuing the policies and projects of Koh Tzu Koon with a zeal beyond the imagination of Penangites.

Lim Guan Eng has willingly without bribery or corruption fast tracked all the projects he inherited from Koh Tsu Koon's admistration.

When pressed on the Queensbay land conversion controversy, Lim Guan Eng blamed Koh Tsu Koon for the decision.

Lim Guan Eng said he does not quite agree with the decision, but he has to comply.

Lim Guan Eng continued to defend the decision of Koh Tsu Koon.

The Chief Minister said that state legal advisers informed him that the land was not bound by a crucial proviso in the National Land Code (NLC) 1965 which forbade foreshore land from being converted to freehold.

He said the land had been gazetted as state land – and not considered foreshore – by the previous state administration.

GEORGE TOWN (Oct 8, 2008) : Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng had defended the controversial conversion of land housing the Queensbay project, reportedly worth RM3 billion to freehold, at the Penang state assembly in July, but had overlooked a vital clause in the National Land Code (NLC) 1965.

It is learnt that Lim (who is currently away in the United Arab Emirates on an investment mission) had in a written reply reasoned that the NLC allowed the state to convert the land from leasehold to freehold.

He made the reply to a question from Batu Uban assemblyman S Raveentharan who asked how reclaimed coastal land had been made freehold in Batu Uban and Pantai Jerjak?

In his reply, however, Lim missed a crucial proviso in the NLC. He reasoned that the freehold status was given as an effort to revive the project after it was left unfinished.

(The project had been stalled as the original developer Eternal Resources Sdn Bhd was affected by the economic crisis of the late 1990s.)

Lim referred to section 76(aa)(iii) of the NLC which says land could be converted “where the State Authority is satisfied that there are special circumstances which render it appropriate to do so”.

It is now learnt that Lim was sent a letter by a senior conveyance lawyer in Aug, expressing concerns about his plan to convert residential leasehold land, including areas that had been reclaimed from the sea, to freehold.

In her letter, lawyer Agatha Foo pointed out a proviso in section 76 of the NLC, which Lim had overlooked in his assembly reply.

Foo noted that the proviso expressly prohibits the state from disposing of “any part of the foreshore or sea-bed for a period exceeding ninety-nine years”.

The proviso had been inserted when section 76 was amended in Parliament in 1985.

“Consequentially, the said proviso would also prohibit the state from re-alienating or converting any part of the reclaimed foreshore or sea-bed to freehold land.” “Any subsequent attempt by the state to re-alienate or convert any part of the foreshore or sea-bed to freehold, notwithstanding that the foreshore or sea-bed have now been reclaimed, would tantamount to a circumvention of the prohibition in section 76 and hence be ultra vires the NLC.

When contacted, land commentator Prof Salleh Buang, who is currently a visiting professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), said the NLC was very clear that the lease for state foreshore land cannot exceed 99 years.

“The law says it very clearly. It is on record that you cannot make such land freehold,” he said. He stressed that the state should be careful to ensure public access remains in foreshore areas.

“If you allow seafront to be freehold, what would happen to open public access to the area?” he asked.

A lot of critics were puzzled by the fact how can the Chief Minister miss a crucial proviso in the National Land Code?

The truth is now being revealed!

The Chief Minister has since wanted to convert a 1.4ha seafront site, adjacent to the 124-year-old Eastern and Oriental (E&O) Hotel along Lebuh Farquhar, from leasehold to freehold on his free will.

The heritage enclave of George Town in Penang may see a waterfront development soon.

It is learnt that YTL Corp Bhd will embark on a project, through joint-venture company PDC Heritage Hotel Sdn Bhd, to build luxurious condominiums and an eatery on a 1.4ha seafront site adjacent to the 124-year-old Eastern and Oriental (E&O) Hotel along Lebuh Farqhuar.

PDC Heritage was set up about a decade ago, with YTL Corp holding 51 per cent stake and Penang Development Corp (PDC) the remaining 49 per cent.It is not known if PDC has since divested its interest in the joint-venture company.

According to sources, the project will feature six blocks of high-end condominiums.

A double-storey building housing food and beverage outlets will also be built on the site where two dilapidated heritage structures are currently standing.

However, the development value of the proposed project is not known.Local authorities gave PDC Heritage approval in June this year to convert its prime seafront land from leasehold to freehold status.

The land, bordered by the E&O Hotel and St Xavier’s Institution, was originally state-owned and had nine pre-war buildings.

In 1996, the land on which sat government staff quarters, the former Public Works Department district engineering office, watchman’s quarters and a garage, was alienated to PDC.

In 1998, PDC came under fire from heritage activitists when it demolished the 80-year-old buildings without local council approval to make way for a five-star hotel, which was to be developed by PDC Heritage Hotel.

YTL Corp group managing director Tan Sri Francis Yeoh could not be reached for comment.

Lim Guan Eng has no excuse to pledge ignorance on the proviso.

Why Lim Guan Eng opted to flout the National Land Code proviso by converting the 1.4ha seafront site adjacent to the 124-year-old Eastern and Oriental (E&O) Hotel from leasehold to freehold?

The PDC heritage project is within the heritage enclave which means it must comply to the height requirement of not taller than 18 metres.

Without the conversion from leasehold to freehold, the project will not have sufficient commercial value to sustain.

Does Lim Guan Eng want to mislead us again that the prime seafront land which is a state land can not be considered as a foreshore land?

Malaysian Domestic Maids Abuse ~ Enforce periodical checks to curb it!

Malaysia has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. Domestic maids abused and now even murdered!

I am referring to the heartbreaking news reports of how some domestic maids here in Malaysia often fall victim to their sadistic, brutal, heartless employers!

We have grown up watching P.Ramlee movies where maids have been featured quite prominently in some of those films where they do play a pivotal role in the life's of most families who can afford them.

Do you remember the role of Ani Jasmin in many of P.Ramlee's classic films?

She always played the role of a maid in most of his films and the viewers enjoyed the comedy that accompanied her roles. The maid was seen as an important member in the family.

All that niceties about the role of domestic maids featured so prominently in such films of yesteryear's have sadly disappeared from the scene and replaced by the heartwrenching stories of maids being so brutally tortured and now even murdered at the hands of their employers who can only be described as brutish devils and satans from hell!!!

Yim Pek Ha (above) got in the news infamously for brutalizing her Indonesian maid Nirmala Bonat to such a stage of cruelty that many hearts bled and eyes weeped upon seeing the tremendous suffering and pain inflicted upon the poor maid by the smiling beast above!

From a picture of a smiling happy maid (above), Nirmala Bonat eventually was tortured to such a degree that the poor woman is now the symbol of domestic maid abuse here in Malaysia and probably throughout the whole region of South East Asia if not the world?

Her abusive employer was sentenced to a jail term of 18 years only! Not at all a fair sentence given the extreme physical abuse and mental torture meted out by Yim Pek Ha the beast upon poor Nirmala!

That she demon ought to be put to hard labor during her imprisonment and not considered for parole throughout her sentence.

After Nirmala Bonat's shocking abuse case, we learned of another equally devastating case of another Indonesian domestic maid by the name of Siti Hajar (pictured above) who was also brutally tortured and abused by her employer.

Again at the hands of another female Malaysian employer!

What the hell is wrong with some of our fellow citizens?

What has triggered them into becoming such heartless, brutal demons devoid of human compassion and mercy towards their servants and domestic help?

What makes these devils in human form resort to such brutality to appease their overly inflated egos and turn into maniacal beasts who maim, hurt and torture the very persons who served them throughout the day and nights?

I suggest that any employer here in Malaysia who wants to hire a maid or maids to undergo psychiatric evaluations and go through a police screening in order to detect in advance any sickos who will eventually turn abusive and harm such domestic maids in the future?

Do you remember how in the olden days, mothers were visited by the government hospital and clinic nurses to check on the condition of newborn babies and their mothers?

Can we have something similar carried out by representatives of the Human Resources Ministry or enact a law making it compulsory for employers to bring their maids to the local government clinics for monthly checkups to ascertain their general health and safety?

These measures might be one of the many ways that we can try impose on employers so they know that if they ever try and abuse their maids , they will eventually be found out and taken action against!

When brought to trial and charged with their offenses, deterrent sentences must be meted out to teach these abusive employers as a symbol of our Malaysian justice!

Failing that, I am pretty sure that we will forever be condemned by the whole world as a nation of brutal, heartless employers who torture their domestic help!

Those who have been caught abusing their maids must never be allowed to get off scot free and be taught a very serious lesson. The courts should strictly impose Civil Caning as part of their punishments and not drag their foot as what we see happening now!

It is meant to inflict graphic injury to the buttocks of the criminal taken prisoner! The rattan cane used would be considerably thicker than the one used by the Syariah courts.

We are talking about a cane that is roughly as thick as 13millimeters and soaked in water so that it doesn't easily split when used. The caning motion would be as strongly as one would swing a golf club against the sentenced offender's butt!!!

That would cut the offender's buttocks seriously given the grave offenses that the criminal has perpetrated against his victim or victims!

Under the Civil caning system, women offenders are not sentenced to be caned thus allowing them to escape punishment when they themselves have seriously inflicted grievous bodily harm to their victims or even have committed murder?

Where's the justice in that?

See how Yim Pek Ha brutalized and tortured poor Nirmala Bonat in the evidence above? Justice has not been carried out in her case by sparing the she demon from having a taste of her own cruelty! An eye for an eye!

That's the justice of Islamic Syariah. Retribution!

There is quite a difference between the severity of a Civil Court's caning sentence and that imposed by the Syariah Justice System.

The Syariah system is very much milder and meant to embarrass the offender into repentance.

Just like a schoolteacher caning students who cause mischief. No serious harm will be done to the offender. No scars would be left. Only welts which will subsequently disappear from the back of the offender.

Malaysia is not alone in having such cases of maid abuse.

Here is another tragic case of a Sri Lankan maid abused in the Middle East!

How could those who pontificate as if they are God fearing Muslims do such a thing in those lands which are supposed to be sacred and all holy?

Same case I believe? Demons in disguise!

Maybe the sadistic employers think they can get away with their abuse on Indonesian maids because most of the Indonesian maids coming here to Malaysia aren't that educated?

Filipino maids are much more better than the Indonesians and Sri Lankans because they are able to stand up for their rights and speak as well as express themselves quite well in English.

See here how such a maid refuses to be a victim of such abusive employers?

Judging from the records so far, is it safe to say that most Malaysian employers who abuse their maids here are non Malays?

We ourselves would not waste a minute working for such arrogant employers as shown by the video above!

The Indonesian maids are mostly submissive; that's why these murderous, sadistic Malaysian employers think that just because they pay someone a few hundred ringgits a month as their salary, they practically own a 'slave'?

I call upon the Human Resources Ministry and all relevant embassies of the domestic maids home countries to impose a monthly safety and health check upon all these maids.

This is to my opinion, a much more better way to monitor the safety and well being of all those maids who have come to serve in this country!

Checks must also be done to ensure that these maids are promptly paid at the end of the month and such payments verified by way of checking their bank account statements by the respective embassies.

Failure to do any of the above will just prolong the abuse and torture of domestic maids in our country, both local or foreign.

Employers who have been found to have abused their maids should be dealt with severely by the justice system, sent to prison, whipped and made to compensate their victims accordingly and forever be banned from employing or hiring any live in maids.

Isu Tauliah ~ Prof Dato Dr Harun Din juga sering menjadi mangsa dilarang berceramah oleh JAIS!

Saya terkejut melihat laporan blog ini yang mendedahkan bahawa salah seorang tokoh agama terulung negara kita iaitu Yang Berbahagia Tuan Guru Professor Dato' Dr.Harun Din Al Haj, salah seorang ulamak yang saya sendiri amat menghormati dek kerana ketinggian ilmu agama beliau, sering dilarang berceramah agama di surau surau dan masjid masjid didalam negeri Selangor Darul Ehsan oleh pihak JAIS ~ Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor di atas alasan bahawa Professor Dato' Dr Harun Din tidak mempunyai 'tauliah' untuk mengajar agama di negeri ini!

Sesungguhnya hati ini amat sakit sekali membaca berita ini kerana Tuan Guru Professor Dato' Dr.Harun Din adalah satu satunya ulamak didalam negara kita ini yang pada pendapat saya amat sesuai sekali kita lantik menjadi 'Ulul `Amri memerintah Kerajaan Persekutuan Malaysia ini.

Barangsiapa diantara kita umat Islam seMalaysia yang masih siuman dan waras fikirannya sudah tentu berang mengetahui tentang larangan berceramah atau menyampaikan ilmu agama terhadap manusia Muslim sehebat Tuan Guru Professor Dato' Dr.Harun Din!

Kalau ada pun, mungkin hanya dikalangan lingkungan kecil dunia kehidupan mereka TIDAK kepada masyarakat umum sepertimana usaha dan pengorbanan ulamak ulamak kita yang kita sayangi seperti diri Tuan Guru Professor Dato' Dr.Harun Din Al Haj!

Entah lah! Memang dah nak Qiyamat agaknya?

Bilamana alim ulamak kita diperlecehkan dan disekat usaha dakwah mereka tetapi puak puak penyemarak budaya hiburan mungkar hedonisma kufur seperti penyanyi penyanyi, pelakon dan pelawak dipuja dan dipuji seantero negara, maka sudah selayaknya kita bersiap sedia menghadapi Yaum al Akhirat kerna ianya sudah disebut sebut didalam sabda Nabi Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam sebagai salah satu tanda tanda ketibaan Qiyamat!

Para aktivis kemungkaran dianugerahkan pangkat kemuliaan dan kedudukan istimewa negara! Mereka diraikan di istana dan mahligai mahligai yang penuh melimpah dengan segala macam kemewahan serta dimahsyurkan didalam ruang lingkup media perdana namun alim ulamak kita yang sebenarnya para pewaris usaha Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam dihina dengan mengadakan terhadap mereka larangan itu dan ini, diperlecehkan dengan seribu satu sekatan dan alasan remeh temeh, mendakwa mereka tidak bertauliah!!!

Bukankah TAULIAH SEPANJANG MASA untuk menyampaikan ilmu agama Islam sudah diperintahkan keatas kita oleh ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'ALA didalam Ayat ke 125, Surah An Nahl, didalam Kitab Suci Junjungan kita, Al Quranul Karim :

125. OdAAu ila sabeeli rabbika bialhikmati waalmawAAithati alhasanati wajadilhum biallatee hiya ahsanu inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu biman dalla AAan sabeelihi wahuwa aAAlamu bialmuhtadeena

Serulah ke jalan Tuhanmu (wahai Muhammad) dengan hikmat kebijaksanaan dan nasihat pengajaran yang baik dan berbahaslah dengan mereka (yang engkau serukan itu) dengan cara yang lebih baik; sesungguhnya Tuhanmu Dialah jua yang lebih mengetahui akan orang yang sesat dari jalanNya dan Dialah jua yang lebih mengetahui akan orang-orang yang mendapat hidayat petunjuk.

125. Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.

Prostitution behind the veil ~ When Islamic Principles are abused.

Dear brothers and sisters.

Whilst surfing the various blogs today, I came across Ibnu Hasyim's article about the Nikah Mut'aah @ Contractual Marriage which is now forbidden in Islam and not allowed in countries where the Sunnah Wal Jamaah is practiced but still permitted in countries such as Iran and Iraq where the Shiites rule.

Frankly speaking, what caught my eye was Ibnu Hasyim's referring to 'wanita UMNO Iran' where he rightly refers to the erroneous Wanita UMNO Chief Shahrizat Jalil's incorrect manner of wearing her shawl over her head and not the proper hijab that is compulsory upon the believing women of Islam!

Despite being advised clearly by way of open publishing's of articles and calls made via the mass media, these recalcitrant women refuse to heed such advice and continue with their manner of not conforming to the rule of the Hijab.

These include the female members of royalty and those considered to be high society. It's bloody ridiculous for such folk to be said to be 'high society' when in actuality their practice and understanding of true Islamic teachings can be said to be pretty 'low'!

Well, to each their own. We have done our part. It's their choice as to live life as true Muslims or put up a charade, living a hypocritical life and outperform theatrical actors and actresses in the daily grind, here on Earth.

Let us move on to another charade that takes place in the lands which are claimed to be 'Islamic Republic's this and that?

Let us take a look at the rampaging scourge of prostitution that takes place behind the veil in Iran, Iraq and a host of other so called Islamic countries.

This is a series of videos that were made to expose the real situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran where contractual marriage is still being practiced when it has already been forbidden by the Prophet of Allah, Sayyidina Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam for the injustice that is perpetrated upon the women in such temporary marriages which is in actuality a front for prostitution!

The authentic hadith regarding such temporal marriages is :

Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 52:

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah and Salama bin Al-Akwa':
While we were in an army, Allah's Apostle came to us and said, "You have been allowed to do the Mut'a (marriage), so do it." Salama bin Al-Akwa' said: Allah's Apostle's said, "If a man and a woman agree (to marry temporarily), their marriage should last for three nights, and if they like to continue, they can do so; and if they want to separate, they can do so." I do not know whether that was only for us or for all the people in general. Abu Abdullah (Al-Bukhari) said: 'Ali made it clear that the Prophet said, "The Mut'a marriage has been cancelled (made unlawful)."

Life for us here in Malaysia is not like what it is in the Middle Eastern countries. We have yet to reach that stage of life where most people have to sacrifice themselves and their honor in order to be able to eat their next meal.

There are isolated cases every now and then that are reported about and published in the media but generally, our country is still fortunate not to suffer widespread poverty and extreme hardships that many other countries around the world are reeling from.

Our country's economy and circumstances are not that desperate that our womenfolk have to resort to such marriages of convenience in order to be able to carry on living.

There are still plenty of job opportunities for anyone who wishes to earn his or her own keep to survive honorably albeit be it as simple a lifestyle as it can be?

My heart bleeds to see the following videos but I have to just grit my teeth and take life as I see it.

You too would feel the same if you still have some sense of pity in you to realize the hardships that drive such women over there in Iran to allow themselves be taken advantage of under the pretext of it being a marriage.

All I can say is that I wish and pray that this scourge will eventually cease to exist in this world but that would be fooling myself.

Please be advised that the contents in the videos featured are produced by the CBS television channel and for mature audiences who can differentiate between fact and fiction.

The Americans who have produced these videos and dubbed it for their home market have done so according to their own standards.

They do not have any restrictions in expressing themselves and their choice of language is at times not as what you and I would so wish.

So please be aware of such terms of expression which borders on those words which are crude and offensive in nature.

Nevertheless, as internet users and well aware of the situations surrounding our life's here in this part of the world, we do acknowledge that even here in this so called 'Islamic nation' of the Kingdom of Malaysia, there exists a different realm.

A realm that many do not speak of and its inhabitants live life just as sordid as what is featured below in these exposing videos?

I am referring to our country's seedier side of life. Like here in KL, we all know what takes place over at Chow Kit, Lorong Hj Taib, etcetera?

My advice to you my dear respected readers is to take it all as part and parcel of this challenging world that we call home.

Those who are not comfortable with facing these harsh realities, are hereby warned to brace yourselves for the real deal with what is taking place there in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

I am sharing these with you with only one purpose.

That is to open up our eyes and ears and see what poverty can lead one to?

Selling oneself and one's honor for a few measly dollars or ringgits, whatsoever?

The Blessed Prophet has said that poverty leads to Kufur. This is one such glaring example.

Bilamana saya membaca laporan ini, saya tertanya tanya akan piawaian parti politik PKR tentang latarbelakang calon calon pilihanraya yang mereka letakkan untuk mewakili parti mereka didalam pilihanraya pilihanraya negara ini?

Bila tertangkapnya manusia yang diberitakan disini, saya menyesal menulis menyokongnya dahulu kerana dari intipati surat aduan dibawah ini sahaja, saya sudah boleh membayangkan tahap kebiadapan individu terbabit dan cara beliau berkelakuan tidak selayak mereka yang digelar Yang Berhormat!

Satu sahaja nasihat saya kepada para pemilih dan pengundi negara. Pilih lah mereka yang jujur, amanah, bersopan santun dan berbudi bahasa senantiasa.

Sakit hati berulam jantung mendengar cerita cerita pahit sebegini.

Hancur rosak ketamadunan masyarakat negara kita seandainya berwakilkan orang orang sebegini.

Apakah dengan terlantiknya seseorang itu ke kedudukan sebagai Ahli Parlimen sudah bermakna ia bebas bertindak mengikut sesuka hatinya dan boleh sahaja menceroboh mana mana pejabat kerajaan negeri atau majlis perbandaran atau kementerian dan berlaku samseng?

Jika di negara barat seperti Amerika Syarikat, saya rasa dah kena tembakan 'Taser' dah makhluk ini dan dihumban kedalam penjara?

Kenapa pula didalam Tanah Melayu ini, penguatkuasaan undang undang lesu dan lemah sekali?

Rude Guard smearing the image of the Masjid Jamek

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Recently, Brother Haji Kamarudin Abdullah, Chairman of the Islamic Propagation Society International, complained to me about the way a certain guard by the name of Zainal had been rudely chasing away tourists and visitors who came to the historic Masjid Jamek.

As his complaint was voiced out through the phone and I had no idea as to the identity of the person concerned, I advised Brother Kamaruddin to lodge an official complaint to the masjid's administration committee for they would be in a better position to solve the matter.

Yesterday, 18th of November, I had gone to the masjid after my meeting with YB Tn Hj Zulkifli Noordin and a few other bloggers to discuss how to solve the 'Tauliah' @ Religious Credentials issue which has been sparked off by the Selangor Islamic Department's arrest and subsequent charging of the former Mufti of Perlis Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin of 'teaching without credentials' in the State of Selangor!

A preposterous case indeed.

Coming back to the subject of this posting.

I reached the Masjid Jamek just after Zohor and rented a locker to store my boots. I paid the locker rental fee of just a ringgit and enquired as to whether the guard would mind my notebook bag and jacket while I went to pray?

He didn't want to accept any such responsibility and asked me to bring my belongings with me to the main masjid praying area.

Okay, fine enough. I understood his position and went about my way to the ablution area and then went to the main prayer hall and performed my Zohor prayers.

Alhamdulillah!

When I returned to the guard post and wanted to return the key to the locker and reclaim my boots, I heard some loud voices outside.

I saw the guard talking in very poor English trying his best to stop some Chinese tourists from entering the masjid grounds.

His excuse was that it was raining and he didn't want the tourists to get the visitors robes wet and also due to the fact that the masjid was having some refurbishing work replacing the ceiling lights at the outer area of the masjid's flanks.

Quite a whole load of bull as I see it! Why would the tourists want to go disturb the workmen?

Usually the visitors will just walk around the masjid building, take some photos and then be on their way after checking out the oldest masjid of Kuala Lumpur.

No big deal.

The problem with yesterday's incident was that the guard was ill equipped to handle such guests to the masjid in a decent, acceptable manner.

The guard in question was having a hard time making himself understood.

I went to his rescue and asked him what was the matter?

Sensing his inadequate command of even the simplest of English, I spoke to the visitors and found out that they were Taiwanese.

I spoke to them in Hokkien and explained the situation.

Then came this guy by the name of Zainal and he was just bloody rude to the other visitors.

There arrived a group of tourists and he was rudely and loudly chasing them out. Saying the masjid was closed, bla bla bla!

I advised him not to be so and reminded him that these were guests to the masjid and one should not disrespect them!

He was stubborn and kept speaking like an uneducated imbecile, incapable of hearing good advice.

If it was a group of locals that this rude man had spoken so aggressively to, I am pretty sure that he would have got a 'fat lip' in no time!

I invited the tourists to take shelter under the awning provided besides the guard post and ABIM brochure stand and explained to them that the reason the guard was being so offensive was because of his fear of the visitor robes getting wet, etc.

That however was not an excuse for the fellow's rudeness to the visiting tourists in the first place!

After the tourists left, I proceeded to go and meet my friend, who runs a travel agency nearby and who is one of the masjid's administration committee member.

He happens to be quite a prominent Indian Muslim philanthropist business tycoon but prefers to maintain a very low profile hence my not naming him here.

I related the incident involving the rude guard to him.

He acknowledged that there has been many similar complaints about that particular rude, uncouth guy but they, the masjid's administration are hard pressed because they can't find any replacement for him due to the low salary that they are paying for such a job?

RM600 per month.

Any of you know any decent Muslim who can speak good English and other languages, know basic knowledge of Islam and willing to take over from that uncouth chap, please give me a call and I will get you or the person you are recommending that post?

We need to get that fella packing! He is spoiling the good name of the Masjid Jamek Bandaraya!

The Masjid Jamek is a prayer area and sanctuary for the Servants of Allah.

Tourists and visitors flock to it because it is promoted and published as a place to visit by both the Tourism Ministry and all tour and travel agencies of the world.

To have such a rude, ignorant, uncouth, loudmouth like that guy spoiling the reputation of the much celebrated and historical masjid is just waiting for a disaster to happen!

One of these days, some tourist is just going to snap and plaster the fella real good!

Do we have to wait till that happens?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Saya telah diminta YB Tn Hj Zulkifli Noordin (Kulim Bandar Baru) untuk menjemput rakan rakan blogger dan ahli ahli MBA @ The Muslim Bloggers Alliance untuk hadir ke satu muzakarah berbincang tentang isu 'Tauliah' yang kini menjadi persoalan dan dijadikan kes tuduhan mengajar tanpa tauliah terhadap mantan Mufti Perlis Dr.Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin.

Muzakarah kami berlangsung di Tingkat 14, Pejabat Pembangkang, Menara Parlimen Malaysia pagi ini bermula jam 10.30 dan berakhir pada jam 12 tengahari.

Yang hadir adalah saya sendiri, Zainol Abideen @ Mahaguru58 (MBA), Hajjah Sis Zabrina binti Abu Bakar (MBA), Akhramsyah Muammar Ubaidah Tan Sri Sanusi Junid (MBA), Dato Kamal Amir, Peguam Shaharudin Datuk Hj Ali (Blogger Raja Menangis), Blogger Norzailina Nordin dan hos kami YB Tn Hj Zulkifli Noordin.

Topik perbincangan kami adalah implikasi terhadap usaha gerakan Dakwah didalam negara kita bila pihak Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor @ JAIS menahan Dr. Asri dan mengemukakan tuduhan jenayah syarie terhadap tokoh agama muda ini mengajar agama tanpa tauliah!

Kami telah merumuskan beberapa langkah yang akan di ambil untuk mencari penyelesaian bagi kemelut yang di timbulkan ini dan Insya Allah akan kami maklumkan kepada umum bilamana ianya siap sedia nanti.

Secara kebetulan, selepas makan tengahari bersama sama di Aras 1 Parlimen, kami bertembung dengan YB Karpal Singh (Bukit Glugor) ketika beliau turun satu lif dengan kami.

Saya bertegur sapa dengan manusia yang pernah saya cabar di Forum Keadilan tahun 1999 meminta YB Karpal menarik balik kenyataannya yang menyentuh kedaulatan Islam dahulu.

Saya bertanya samada beliau masih ingat pada saya?

Beliau mengaku masih ingat dan saya memperingatkan beliau bahawa saya telah mengundang nya hadir ke Masjid Kapitan Keling, Pulau Pinang dahulu untuk menerangkan tentang realiti sebenar tentang Islam dan telah sedia menghadiahkan senaskhah tafsir Al Quran didalam Bahasa Inggeris untuk rujukan beliau tetapi beliau tidak kunjung kunjung tiba.

Saya menyatakan kepada YB Karpal bahawa walaupun kami berbeza pendapat tentang beberapa perkara terutamanya tentang salah anggap peguam terkenal negara kita ini mengenai kedudukan Ad Deenul Islam, saya memperingatkan beliau bahawa Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala jua yang menciptakan kita semua.

Saya mencapai tangan YB Karpal untuk menunjukkan angka angka Arab 81 dan 18 yang tertera pada telapak tangan beliau juga tetapi kasihan, tangan beliau keras kematu tidak boleh dibalikkan, kesan dari kecederaan yang beliau tanggung setelah lumpuh akibat kemalangan dahulu.

Takdir Allah, Rabbul Alamin.

Masa tidak mengizinkan kesemua kami untuk berbual lama lama maka kami semua mengucap selamat kepada masing masing dan begitu juga saya dengan YB Karpal.

Saya meminta semua untuk tunggu sekejap merakamkan gambar kenangan dan meminta izin YB Karpal untuk bergambar bersamanya.

YB Karpal hanya mengangguk angguk setuju dan tidak keberatan untuk bergambar bersama kami.

From Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's standing order to those of us who are Muslims to 'invite all mankind to His Way with wisdom and beautiful preaching and to argue or reason with the Kaffirs @ Disbelievers in ways that are best and most gracious, for He knows best as to who amongst us keep faith in Him and as to who has gone astray?

Surah An Nahl, Chapter 16 Verse 125, in the Holy Al Quranul Karim.

125. OdAAu ila sabeeli rabbika bialhikmati waalmawAAithati alhasanati wajadilhum biallatee hiya ahsanu inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu biman dalla AAan sabeelihi wahuwa aAAlamu bialmuhtadeena

Sadaqallah hal Adzhim. Truthful indeed is Allah the Most Powerful.

An order so crystal clear that only those who have befuddled minds and diseased hearts will choose to ignore and cause those who obey Allah to the letter as per the above commandment unnecessary harm and mischief if not impose upon them harm and ridicule!

Thus has become the fate of one Muslim by the name of Dr.Mohd. Asri bin Zainul Abidin, the former Mufti of the State of Perlis, here in this country.

What was his crime?

Preaching to the masses. Something that is ordained and commanded upon him as a scholar of Islam by none other than The Almighty Lord and Supreme Master of us all as per the Surah An Nahl which I have reproduced above.

For the Islamic Religious Department of Selangor to arrest the preacher and charge him for teaching without authorization from their department is simply an outrageous and illogical if not preposterous thing to do!

Who are they to go against the Commandments of Almighty Allah?

I find it most unbecoming for a so called religious department to cause so much heartache and unnecessary provocations against a young outstanding Muslim scholar such as the often celebrated ex-Perlis Mufti!

All I can say is that it is proven to be true as per what Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam prophesied that in the Last Days, the singers and performers will be adulated and celebrated whilst the religious scholars will be hounded and offended by those who abuse the trust placed upon them to rule over the people justly.

As a fellow Muslim and one who has sworn to call others to Al Islam, I will not rest till justice is upheld and the victimized scholar of Islam, Dr.Mohd Asri bin Zainul Abidin is vindicated and his honor upheld.

If the so called justice system perverts the trust we the people have in them and causes harm to the young scholar, rest assured that it will not be long for Allah's Wrath to descend upon them!

Insya Allah!

The so called Leaders and Keepers of the Faith have done nothing to defend or champion Al Islam in this country and thus have lost their right to claim such honorifics in the first place, so help me God!

As far as I am concerned, they have betrayed the Muslims and by remaining silent about this injustice against so good a man, they have earned their place in the hereafter as those who have turned their backs upon the ummah.

Today I read about how the 'President of the Human Rights Party of Malaysia, ex ISA detainee and HINDRAF leader , lawyer P.Uthayakumar is not happy with the Royal Malaysian Police Force for shooting dead 5 suspected criminals in Klang, recently.

The Royal Malaysian Police are now being accused of decimating the Malaysian Indian population systematically by all these shooting to death of criminals who happen to be from the Malaysian Indian community!

What else is going to be plastered against our nation's Royal Malaysian Police Force?

They are now accused to be putting to practice a 'shoot to kill' policy when confronting vicious crooks and criminals terrorizing the nation?

Maybe a few videos taken off You Tube could clear away the clouded judgments and condemnations of the 'Men in Blue' to show just how dangerous and heartless are some of the murderers, rapists, robbers, gangsters and hardened criminals who are rampaging throughout our country!

Here's a video showing brazen vicious criminals brutally hacking a convenience store cashier to death :

This video was removed from Youtube due to its violent graphic nature but somehow I luckily managed to scour for it and found it here.

The criminals robbing and hacking the victim are Malaysian Indians.

Remember the murder of Ustaz Mohamed Khairuddin Mohamed Isa, 42, who worked as a part time cashier at Petronas Gunung Lang, Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Perak on 11th November, 2008?

3 Malaysian Indian men named below were arrested and charged with his murder:

N. Ganeson, 22, from Rumah Murah, Jelapang;
M. Tayalan, 32, from Kampung Razak, Jalan Kuala Kangsar
and K. Nanda Kumar, 22, from Kampung Baru, Jelapang together with another suspect who is at large were charged with murdering the Ustaz at 6:58am on that day!

Does our Human Rights Party of Malaysia stop to think for a while and consider the unnecessary deaths of all such victims of the Malaysian Indian criminals?

Who sheds a tear for these poor unfortunate souls who died at the hands of such heartless brutes who happen to be part of the Malaysian Indian population?

Before you even start accusing me of being a racist who hates Indians, let me clarify that :

My car motor insurance agent has been and is a Malaysian devout Hindu @ Mr.Ramakrishnan @ Ramky of ALLCARES Service Agency from AIG. He was my colleague during my apprenticeship with American Home Assurance General Insurance training period. I gave him my business when I stopped being an agent myself and have not dropped him in favor of another because of our friendship.
Many of my blogging mates are decent Indians such as Cikgu Murali of Gangeticus.blogspot. Ask him about me? Do I treat him any different because he is a Hindu or Indian? Hell! I respect very much Cikgu Murali for his levelheadedness and intelligence.
Emmanuel of DAP Socialist Youth and many others. Same case here. We respect each other and constantly keep in touch through our blogs even though I have my reservations regarding the DAP!

There are good, decent Malaysians of Indian origin all around us but due to their involvement in serious crimes such as murder, rape and robbery, many suspected Indians who are caught in the confrontations with the Malaysian Police usually end up dead in such shootouts!

The Malaysian Police Force are trained professionals. Crooks are not.

Hence the outcome. I am sure that many of us would cry foul if it was the cops getting blasted by the crooks!

I prefer that it be the crooks and vicious criminals like the murderers in the video above who get shot to death as an appropriate measure and to uphold the spirit of justice we all crave for!

This is not a race issue we are talking about!

This is about the police fighting crime and using force where and when it is necessary.

Does anyone here wish for the situation to be the other way around and have these crooks killing our law enforcement officers as they damn well please?

I surely hope not!

Here's a tragic case where one of our nation's finest died after he was killed by a criminal while being on duty!

Did Uthayakumar shed even a tear for this greatest sacrifice by a policeman? It would be a miracle if he did that!

The man's just too fixated with venting his anger against the 'Malay-sian' Police Force judging from the way he publishes his ire against our nation's 'Men in Blue'!

So much hatred and anger eating away from the inside....sheeesh!...What a waste....

Not good for the heart, I tell you...

Lastly, May our Royal Malaysian Police Force be able to safeguard the nation and take out all such crooks and criminals, no matter what race or religion they are from!

Fish Spa therapy gone wrong! News from AsiaOne.

Thinking of soaking your tired feet in your nearest 'fish spa'?

Well, please take a moment to read this and consider the risks you are exposing your legs to?

Fish therapy gone wrong

THE latest health fad in town involves letting little fishes nibble your legs to get rid of dead skin.

These fishes are dubbed "doctor fish", but two sisters who went for the therapy earlier this month ended up having to visit real doctors instead.

They claimed that that their legs became itchy and turned red and blotchy. They also said they had brown patches and scaly skin after going to a "fish spa" that features the Garra rufa fish, a Turkish spa fish.

Miss Jas Huang, 22, a manicurist, and her younger sister Min, 20, a hairstylist, went for one session at a spa called Dr Fish in Ang Mo Kio on 3 Aug.

The treatment cost them $28 each, for a half-hour session. Clients have to submerge their legs in a tank filled with the fish.

Stinging sensation

Miss Jas Huang said: "Our legs had turned red after the treatment. There was a stinging sensation on my legs when I took a shower after going home.

"But my sister thought it was part of the after-treatment process. We didn't think it was serious until a week later, when the redness and itchiness still did not go away."

They then went to see separate doctors who told them that they had fungal infection on their skin. They were given cream to apply to the affected areas.

Miss Jas Huang said: "I was very upset and angry at that time. It was supposed to be a treatment to rejuvenate our skin, but now our legs look so ugly that we have to see real doctors."

She said she had tried asking for a compensation from the spa - $108 each for her and her sister. This is to cover their medical bills ($80 each) and for the refund of the treatment fee ($28 each).

But the shop declined to pay because she could not produce the medical bills. Miss Jas Huang claimed that she had thrown away the bills - hers and her sister's - in a fit of anger.

She added: "I regret trying the fish treatment. It was fun and interesting at first, but now it has turned into a nightmare. I wouldn't dare try such treatments in future."

Her sister Min said: "I usually wear shorts and skirts, but now I can't. Some strangers who walked past me even commented that my legs look scary and ugly with the marks."

Miss Jas Huang said that they did not get any receipts at the spa.

When contacted, the spa owner, Mr Steve Wong, said that his shop issues receipts only to customers who pay by Nets and those who ask for receipts

No medical receipts

He said he was aware of the incident and that he was concerned for his customers' welfare. "Our treatment is safe because we even have parents who take their children for this treatment," he said.

He added that the water in the tanks are changed every two to three days.

Mr Wong said he had spoken with the sisters and had asked them to go to his shop to discuss the matter.

But the sisters told him they did not have receipts for their medical treatment and had also refused to tell him which doctors they had visited.

Mr Wong also showed The New Paper on Sunday an indemnity form that all customers must sign before proceeding with the treatment. It stated that the spa "holds no responsibility for any ailments that arises after treatment".

However, the Consumers Association of Singapore (Case) said that making customers sign an indemnity form does not absolve the shop from responsibility.

Mr Seah Seng Choon, the executive director of Case, said: "The vendor is trying to exempt itself from liability against injuries suffered by its customers.

"But signing the indemnity form does not take away the right of the consumer to sue."

Mr Seah said it could be argued that this was not allowed under the Unfair Contract Terms Act, which states that businesses cannot exempt itself from liability for injuries howsoever caused.

But the consumer needs to show proof that he had suffered injuries that were caused by the business and that he had paid for medical treatment.

If the case goes to court, the customer may need to get the clinic doctor or staff member to confirm in writing that she had gone to the clinic and incurred a certain amount of medical expenses.

Dermatologist Patricia Yuen says:

1. No proven medical benefit from fish spa. Fish might bite off skin cells, but it is not a medical treatment. If water is not treated for hygiene, it could be a breeding ground for fungi.

2. Possible to get fungal and bacterial skin infection from submersion in the fish tank.

3. Symptoms of fungal and bacterial infection and redness of the skin, blotchiness and itchiness. With scratching and after-treatment, a brown pigmentation may appear. Brown patches will disappear eventually anytime from a few weeks to a few months.

Fish Spas should have proper water filters. Good filtration system, proper hygiene, approved meds, goes hand in hand (or foot in foot :}). Without such system, even changing the water everyhour can't help!

Fish Spa owners should also check their fishes every day (begining and end of day) for any abnormal white patches etc. or any sick fishes, get them out and chage the water etc.

Fish Spa owners should invest and not just look at earnings if they want to last longer in this highly competitive business.

They should get hints and tips from Qian Hu's Fish Spa, I have been there tens of times, I did not have any problems. And it costs $10 for half an hour only. Cheap!

Definitely not hygiene, owner of the shop only knows how to make money. He is slapping himself by saying that he changed water in the tank every 2 to 3 days.So many feet had soaked in or 2 to 3 days for only 'ONE' customer. I think Ministry of Health need to step in to see all spa owners observe hygiene, not only this but also all towels,etc.

Cutting corners and poor hygiene and lack of concern is chief to blame for incidence like this.
People are just washing their legs some of which may been in contact with dirty surfaces or worst come from shoes infested with fungi and bacteria in the spa water.

Silly gullible people wasting time money and risking health in a place like this.

How come spa like this are not certify for hygience standards by NEA??

Personally, I have come across this 'fish spa' treatment at expo's and shopping malls where such containers containing all those little nibbling fishes are seen nibbling away at all kinds of people's feet!

It gave me the wiggly giggly to see such scenes!

It's unhygienic in the first place.

People with all kinds of skin conditions submerging their feet together with other people at the same time, expose themselves to be inflicted with all kinds of dermatological risks of infections as proven by the case of the Singapore sisters above!

I am pretty sure that the operators of this fish spa do not change the waters as often as they claim or that they will offer a personal container for customers to soak their feet in.

This is just another new fad of supposedly treating one's feet at the expense and risk of getting serious complications set in to one's skin as evidenced above.

My advice will be to just take care of our health and hygiene ourselves and if one is suffering from any conditions to go consult one's doctor, physician or herbalist instead of risking all these kinds of treatments where there are chances of such treatments going wrong.

If you see a guy (especially Indian) who rides a motorbike with a bloody hand knocking on your window demanding you to stop and asking for tissue paper to clean the blood when you are driving a car, remember DO NOT stop the car at all. Even if he damages your car or holds the side mirrors tightly, DO NOT stop the car but drive directly to the nearest police station. This kind of criminal tactics have been reported in about 40 cases in Seremba n, K. Lumpur, Shah Alam, P.Jaya and Klang Town police stations (actually around the whole country).

These guys are mainly Indian gangsters, They work in a group and dare to commit this crime even in crowded areas where nobody will dare to stop the car to help you. The main purpose of this dirty tactic is to rob you and/ or even commit rape if you are female driver driving alone. Please forward this message to the people you care about.

I replied yes and she stated that it is a lie!

I thanked her promptly and am posting this to you so that if you are amongst those who receive such a forwarded email to first not panic and in turn cause a domino effect by you spreading such a false report if you can call this email as one to your contacts online and they in turn further spread this unwarranted piece of rumor to their contacts!

Why do some folks do this?

This is no joke!

I Googled the name of Dr. Jeyashree Shrinivasan and found that a whole lot of people have published such a false report in their blogs, websites and online forums!

The sin of spreading untruths and falsehood will be very severely punished both here in this life on Earth and in the Akhirat @ Hereafter.

Persons who do this @ forwarding of untruths through the email can be deemed to be abusers of the online technology.

Although one might think that he or she is actually doing the email receivers a huge favor by 'alerting' them to the dangers posed by gangsters and ruffians on the road, attributing such an email to someone like this said doctor is tantamount to implicating the doctor and dragging her reputation and dignity down the drain.

The doctor named above can and should take legal action against this person who forwards such a false piece of news if you can call it one and clear her reputation.

This should serve as a warning and reminder to all others not to engage in such forwarding of untruths and lies!

I do not deny that there are shysters, conmen and tricksters out there on our roads who do pose a danger to the general unsuspecting public but any avid newspaper reader or one who keeps abreast with all that is going on here in our nation and across the world would know better than to endanger themselves by opening their car doors or windows to anyone 'supposedly' injured or lying there across the road!

The wisest thing to do would be to alert the authorities by calling the police or the highway authorities and report to them the situation.

Yet, we can never know as to who's really in trouble or just putting up an act to take advantage of our general sense of pity and compassion towards our fellow mankind?

I am not saying that this forwarder of such news is totally wrong but am just asking that before you implicate someone such as the doctor here, to please verify and authenticate your sources.

Forwarding such emails might have been done in the spirit of goodwill but it can also backfire against the sender when what you forwarded turns out to be nothing but a piece of false news or slander!

Think before you press 'Send!'.

My heartfelt sympathies to the poor doctor.

She has in a way been victimized by over exuberant 'do gooders' who inwittingly have in turn become amongst those who spread rumors!

It's the season to be confused.

Why do I say so?

Well, after that shocking episode of learning about the secret as to why PAS MP's and State Assembly men and women stay put with the party no matter what, I have been trying my level best not to disclose anything more from the 'dialogue' we had with the Selangor PAS Commissioner YB Dato' Dr. Hassan Ali and PAS Deputy President YB Ustaz Nasharudin Mat Isa at the former's residence at Pinggiran Taman Tun, I was confounded by the affirmation of some and then the vehement denials of the existence of such a conditional swearing of such PAS YB's not to turn froggie!

As a usually apolitical blogger who prefers to focus on sharing my views about my faith and occasionally touch upon social issues, I have sort of become disillusioned with the way some of these local Malaysian politicians twist and turn at every given moment that I can't really for the love of God, figure out these slinky politicians to guess where they actually stand?

The Supreme Leader of PAS out rightly rubbishes such a declaration of oath to divorce one's wife according to the Muslim Code of Marriage where the 3 talaq's fall upon the unfortunate wife of any PAS MP's or State Assemblymen who betray the party and leap frog over to their enemies!

I am still not going to release the audio recordings of the dialogue to the global realm for now because I am still waiting for the green light from Dato Dr Hassan Ali if he so wishes to set the record straight and clarify once and for all as to what he really stated during our get together and also what was uttered by YB Ustaz Nasharudin Mat Isa?

But out of the blue, here is a YouTube of the Gunung Semanggol PAS Assemblyman testifying on video that he too has taken that oath being denied by the PAS Supreme Leader and other top honchos:

Next we heard of YB Zulkifli Nordin getting into a spat with his PKR Vice President YB Sivarasa Rasiah to the extent of YB Zul issuing a direct challenge to YB Siva to go one to one with him and see who emerges righteous?

Before the cake even gets baked, these two chaps are reported to have clashed cheeks and made up!

All that smoke and no fire?

Damn!!!

Next time we hear any similar squabbling among these two, I'd just go on my ignore mode and let the fellows claw each other silly, online of course...

'Anak' or 'Presiden CAP'?

Naturally it will be the latter.

Same modus operandi when the son of Malaysia Today owner Raja Petra Kamaruddin was hauled up for crimes that he did!

Who got sensationalized?

Raja Petra of course...all for the wrong reasons!

Same scenario here with the reputation of Tuan Haji S.M. Mohd Idris, the legendary consumer affairs champion of our nation who has contributed so much to our nation, as far as alerting the general public as to the dangers of certain consumer products which have been proven times and times again to be injurious or detrimental to our health!

Why do our mainstream media need to smear this good citizen's lifetime achievements just because his son has been accused of committing crime?

Why drag Tuan Haji S.M.Idris's name into the mud for something that he did not do?

Tuan Haji S.M. Idris is a man who has refused titles and honors which were offered to be bestowed upon him for his contributions to the nation as far as advocating a responsible consumer rights awareness by manufacturers and service providers both from the official and private sectors.

Why highlight the father for sins committed or assumed to have been committed by the kith or kin?

Is that fair reporting?

I believe this is just a ploy by the publishing media to draw the attention of the public into buying their newspapers!

Sensationalizing of news.

Where is the respect due to such notable prominent figures in our nation who have contributed to the good of society but get their reputations and good names smeared for something that they did not do?

Will we get to see the names of newspaper editors highlighted for bad deeds committed by their offspring or family members?

Fat chance!

Give the fathers a break will you and go apologize to such fine gentlemen like S.M.Mohd Idris Al Haj.

Do we blame Our Father Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam for the murder committed by his son Qabil @ Kane?

Innocent folks getting plastered for the offenses committed by their family members is just not right at all!!!

The media ought to practice fair reporting if they want to be taken seriously!

Failing to observe good morals will only leave their newspapers to be worth nothing more than to be used to wrap groceries and thrown into the garbage bin or recycled!

KENYATAAN AKHBAR / PRESS STATEMENT

I refer to the statement issued by YB Sivarasa Rasiah that appeared on the STAR today 10.11.2009 at page N. 17. He was quoted as saying “PKR leader DSAI’s warning to party members to leave and join UMNO is aimed at people like Zulkifli Noordin, whose actions are not in line with party policies”.

I wish to state that is YB Siva’s own interpretation of DSAI’s statement. It was clear from the meeting called by DSAI yesterday afternoon at his office attended by MPs from PKR that the main issue discussed was the new party’s strategy to launch an attack on the Prime Minister.

The issue of toeing the party line was mentioned in passing, and at no time did DSAI mention it was meant to me.

In fact, DSAI was happy that I remain the only MP from Pakatan that is consistent in raising matters of importance to the Muslim and Malays.

DSAI even went to the extent that it is important to also champion the rights and privileges of the Muslim and the Malays, while not forgetting the rights of Christians, Hindus, Buddhist, Chinese, Indians and the rest.

The only caution he raised, even then generally, is for any MPs to inform the party whip and DSAI himself on any motion or private member bill he or she wished to submit to Parliament.

At no time did DSAI said anything about me going against the party policy!

I want to ask YB Siva and the likes of him, what does he meant when he said toeing the party policy?

Whose policy is he talking about?

His policy?

Is defending the right of Islam and the Muslims against the policy of PKR?

It was precisely for refusing to toe the party line (i.e UMNO) that DSAI was incarcerated and imprisoned for 6 years in 1998.

It was precisely his fight and struggle for freedom of speech and the basic right to air one’s views that Reformasi was launched.

That is the fundamental difference between the Pakatan and BN.

The hallmark of Pakatan was premised on the platform of these basic human rights.

Islam and the Muslims also have their rights to be protected and fought for.

All that I have defended and fought for are the rights of Islam and the Muslims.

Is that a sin in PKR?

Does human rights mean only rights of others, and Muslims has no say at all but to take everything hands down?

It is a sad day for democracy and human rights if people like YB Siva are allowed to dictate what democracy and human rights are; that democracy and human rights meant only when they say it is democracy and human right.

And if defending and upholding the rights of Muslims are not in the realm of PKR's human rights and democracy, then I think that is the death sentence to democracy and human rights in Malaysia.

My strong advise to YB Siva and the like of him, “what is good for the goose is a sauce for the gander”.

I would again reiterate what I have been consistently saying; defending and upholding Islam and the right of the Muslims is something very dear to me.

I may not be the best Muslim, but I will give my very best in defending and upholding Islam and the right of the Muslims.

I am a Muslim first, and an MP second.

I am a Muslim first, a party member second.

When the day comes that I have to make a choice between Islam and the party, I would not hesitate a second blink to choose Islam.

And my challenge to YB Siva, I dare you to step down within 24 hours as Vice President and we contest one to one.

Let the PKR members decide whether defending and upholding Islam and the Muslim rights is or is not the party policy?

If I lose then I am more than willing to leave PKR, for a party that does not defend and uphold Islam and the Muslims rights is not the party that I should be associated with.

Saya merujuk kepada kenyataan yang dibuat oleh YB Sivarasiah yang disiarkan dalam akhbar The STAR dimukasurat N. 17.

Beliau dipetik sebagai berkata “amaran Ketua Umum PKR kepada ahli PKR supaya keluar daripada PKR dan menyertai UMNO ditujukan kepada orang saperti Zulkifli Noordin, dimana tindak tanduknya tidak selaras dengan dasar parti”.

Saya ingin menegaskan bahawa itu adalah tafsiran YB Siva sendiri kepada kenyataan DSAI.

Adalah jelas daripada mesyuarat yang dipanggil oleh DSAI semalam dipejabatnya yang dihadiri oleh AP PKR bahawa isu utama yang dibincangkan adalah startegi baru PKR untuk melancarkan serangan terhadap YAB Perdana Menteri.

Isu kepatuhan kepada dasar parti hanya disebut secara sampingan dan tiada pada bila-bila masa DSAI menyebut ianya dituju kepada saya.

Malahan, DSAI melahirkan rasa bangga bahawa saya satu-satunya Ahli Parlimen Pakatan Rakyat yang istiqomah didalam membawa isu yang menjadi kepentingan Muslim dan dan orang Melayu.

Malah, DSAI menegaskan bahawa adalah juga sangat penting untuk Pakatan menjuarai hak dan keistimewaan Muslim dan orang Melayu, tanpa melupakan hak penganut Kristian, Hindu, Buddha, kaum Cina, India dan lain-lain.

DSAI hanya menyentuh satu isu, itu pun secara umum, iaitu mana-mana AP hendaklah memaklumkan kepada Ketua Whip dan beliau sendiri jika hendak memfailkan apa-apa cadangan pindaan rang undang-undang persendirian dan usul ke Parlimen.

DSAI tiada pada bila-bila masa menyebut bahawa saya melanggar apa-apa polisi parti.

Saya ingin bertanya kepada YB Siva dan yang sewaktu dengannya, apa yang beliau maksudkan dengan mematuhi polisi parti?

Polisi siapa yang beliau maksudkan?

Polisi beliau?

Apakah membela dan memperjuangkan hak Islam dan orang Muslim bertentangan dengan dasar PKR?

DSAI sendiri dihukum dan dipenjarakan selama 6 tahun kerana enggan akur kepada kehendak parti (UMNO masa itu).

Kerana perjuangan dan jihad beliau untuk menobatkan kebebasan bersuara dan hak asasi kemanusiaan dan hak untuk menyatakan pendapatlah maka gerakan Reformasi dilancarkan.

Itulah perbezaan fundamental diantara Pakatan Rakyat dan BN.

Premis perjuangan Pakatan Rakyat tertegak diatas hak asasi kemanusiaan ini.

Islam dan Muslim juga mempunyai hak yang perlu dipertahan dan diperjuangkan.

Apa yang telah saya pertahan dan perjuangkan adalah hak Islam dan Muslim.

Apakah ianya satu dosa bagi PKR?

Apakah hak asasi kemanusiaan hanya bermaksud hak orang lain, dan Islam serta Muslim tiada hak langsung tetapi mesti akur dan patuh kepada hak orang lain?!

Ianya adalah satu tragedi bagi demokrasi dan hak asasi kemanusiaan jika orang semacam YB Siva diberi ruang untuk menggariskan apa itu demokrasi dan hak asasi kemanusiaan; bahawa demokrasi dan hak asasi kemanusiaan hanya menjadi demokrasi dan hak asasi jika mereka mengesahkannya.

Dan jika membela dan mempertahankan Islam dan Muslim tidak termasuk dalam ruang lingkup demokrasi dan hak asasi kemanusiaan dalam PKR, maka saya berpendapat itu adalah hukuman bunuh kepada demokrasi dan hak asasi kemanusiaan di Malaysia.

Nasihat saya kepada YB Siva dan yang sewaktu dengannya, “apa yang baik untuk kamu tidak semestinya baik bagi orang lain”.

Saya ingin menegaskan apa yang saya telah sebut secara konsisten dan istiqomah; mempertahankan dan memperjuangkan Islam dan hak Muslim adalah sesuatu yang sangat berharga bagi saya.

Saya mungkin bukan Muslim yang terbaik, tetapi saya akan melakukan yang terbaik untuk Islam.

Saya adalah Muslim dahulu, Ahli Parlimen kedua.

Saya adalah Muslim dahulu, ahli parti kedua.

Apabila tiba harinya saya terpaksa memilih diantara Islam dan parti, saya tanpa sedikit keraguan pun akan pasti memilih Islam.

Dan saya mencabar YB Siva, sila letak jawatan beliau sebagai Naib Presiden dalam tempoh 24 jam dan mari kita bertanding satu lawan satu.

Mari kita berikan hak demokrasi dan bersuara kepada ahli akar umbi PKR membuat keputusan samada mempertahan dan memperjuangkan Islam dan hak Muslim menjadi dasar PKR ataupun tidak.

Jika saya tertewas, maka saya bersedia pada bila-bila masa untuk meninggalkan PKR, kerana parti yang tidak mahu mempertahan, membela dan memperjuangkan Islam dan hak Muslim bukanlah parti yang saya mahu bersekutu dengannya.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Para pembaca sekelian.

Saya ingin merujuk kepada perkembangan terkini didalam negara yang membabitkan perkara perkara berkaitan Agama Islam dan masaalah ummah.

Menurut teks rasmi JAKIM kedudukan Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong dimahsyurkan sebagai Ketua Agama Islam Malaysia :

" SERI PADUKA BAGINDA YANG DI PERTUAN AGONG
SEBAGAI KETUA AGAMA ISLAM NEGARA "

Sidang Jumaat Yang Dirahmati Allah,

Marilah kita sama-sama mempertingkatkan keimanan dan ketaqwaan kepada Allah SWT dengan bersungguh-sungguh melaksanakan segala suruhan-Nya dan menjauhi larangan-Nya. Mudah-mudahan dengan keimanan dan ketaqwaan, kita beroleh rahmat dan keredhaan hidup di dunia dan di akhirat.

Sempena dengan hari keputeraan rasmi Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong pada 7 Jun; maka tajuk khutbah pada hari ini ialah

"Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong
Sebagai Ketua Agama Islam Negara".

Sidang Jumaat Yang Dirahmati Allah,

Dalam Perkara Tiga (3), Perlembagaan Persekutuan telah memperuntukkan bahawa Islam adalah agama persekutuan atau dimaksudkan juga sebagai agama rasmi negara.

Bagaimanapun, agama lain boleh diamalkan dengan aman dan damai.

Dalam usaha mengukuhkan Islam di negara ini Perlembagaan juga memperuntukkan dalam Perkara Sebelas (11) (4) bahawa diayah agama lain kepada umat Islam adalah dilarang.

Persoalan besar timbul ialah siapakah pelindung kesucian agama Islam di negara ini?

Di dalam Perlembagaan dinyatakan bahawa yang DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong adalah Ketua Agama Islam bagi negeri yang tiada raja seperti Pulau Pinang, Sarawak, Sabah, Melaka dan Wilayah Wilayah Persekutuan. Manakala di negeri-negeri lain Ketua Agama Islam ialah Sultan atau Raja di negeri berkenaan.

Yang Di Pertuan Agong, Sultan atau Raja sebagai Ketua Agama Islam adalah sesuatu yang amat istimewa di negara kita.

Umat Islam di negara ini amat bersyukur kepada Allah SWT dan setinggi-tinggi terima kasih kepada Majlis Raja-Raja dan bekas Perdana Menteri pertama iaitu Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman Putra al-Haj yang bekerja kuat memberi kedudukan istimewa agama Islam dalam Perlembagaan Malaysia.

Bagaimanapun, pada akhir-akhir ini terdapat pihak-pihak tertentu cuba mempertikaikan kedudukan Islam dalam Perlembagaan, peranan Mahkamah Syariah dan bidangkuasa Raja sebagai ketua agama dan adat istiadat Melayu di negara ini.

Persoalan besar timbul ialah mengapa keadaan ini berlaku?.

Berdasarkan pemerhatian, mimbar yang mulia ini berpendapat keadaan ini berlaku kerana:-

Pertama : Umat Islam sendiri telah berpecahbelah mengikut kumpulan tertentu;
Kedua : Sanggup menggadai maruah dan kepentingan agama kerana kepentingan diri dan kumpulan; dan
Ketiga : Terdapat umat Islam bersyubahat dengan pihak tertentu untuk mempertikaikan Islam sebagai agama rasmi di negara ini atas alasan untuk mempertahankan hak asasi pihak lain.

Oleh itu, mimbar ini ingin mengingatkan sekali lagi bahawa jika umat Islam berterusan berpecahbelah, hilang integriti dan diperalatkan pihak lain; maka lambat laun umat Islam di negara ini akan menerima nasib yang malang seperti yang berlaku di sesetengah negara di mana rakyatnya diburu dan dihalau daripada tanah air mereka sendiri.

Sidang Jumaat Yang Dirahmati Allah,

Negara kita mempunyai penduduk yang berbilang kaum dan agama. Masing-masing berusaha memperjuangkan hak asasi budaya dan agama mereka.

Kita amat bersyukur dan menjunjung kasih dalam suasana genting dan gawat, Yang di Pertuan Agong dan Majlis Raja-Raja telah membantu menyelamatkan ketegangan politik, menjaga kesucian Islam, adat istiadat orang Islam dan menjadi simbol perpaduan rakyat di negara ini.

Islam adalah agama Allah yang diturunkan kepada manusia. Oleh itu sebagai ketua agama Islam, memperlihatkan kepada kita bahawa amanah dan tanggungjawab yang dipikul oleh Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong amatlah berat.

Maka, kita selaku rakyat yang berpayung di bawah pemerintahan Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong hendaklah sentiasa memberikan taat setia yang tidak berbelah bagi kepada pemerintah negara.

Lebih-lebih lagi kita sebagai umat Islam telah diajar supaya taat dan patuh kepada pemerintah sebagaimana firman Allah SWT di dalam Surah An-Nisa’ ayat 59:

59. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo ateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo alrrasoola waolee al-amri minkum fa-in tanazaAAtum fee shay-in faruddoohu ila Allahi waalrrasooli in kuntum tu/minoona biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri thalika khayrun waahsanu ta/weelan

59. Maksudnya: " Wahai orang yang beriman, taatlah kamu kepada Allah dan Rasul dan kepada Ulil-Amri dari kalangan kamu. Kemudian jika kamu berselisih dalam sesuatu perkara, maka kembalikanlah ia kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya jika benar kamu beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat. Yang demikian adalah lebih baik (bagi kamu), dan lebih elok pula kesudahannya."

59. O ye who believe! Obey God, and obey the Apostle, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to God and His Apostle, if ye do believe in God and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination.

Sidang Jumaat Yang Dirahmati Allah,

Sejak merdeka hingga kini telah terbukti bahawa institusi Raja memainkan peranan penting dalam mempertahankan Islam dan perpaduan rakyat di negara ini.

Bagi mengekalkan suasana aman damai ini, marilah kita sebagai rakyat Malaysia hidup penuh mahabbah serta bersatupadu dengan menjunjung institusi Raja berperlembagaan.

Elakkan daripada terlibat dengan sebarang tindakan yang boleh mengugat atau mencemar institusi Raja-Raja serta mempertikai kesucian Islam sebagai agama rasmi di negara ini.

Firman Allah SWT dalam Surah al-Hujurat ayat 13:

13. Ya ayyuha alnnasu inna khalaqnakum min thakarin waontha wajaAAalnakum shuAAooban waqaba-ila litaAAarafoo inna akramakum AAinda Allahi atqakum inna Allaha AAaleemun khabeerun

13. Maksudnya: " Wahai umat manusia! Sesungguhnya Kami telah menciptakan kamu dari lelaki dan perempuan, dan Kami telah menjadikan kamu berbagai bangsa dan suku puak, supaya kamu saling berkenalan. Sesungguhnya semulia-mulia kamu di sisi Allah ialah orang yang paling takwa di antara kamu. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui, lagi Maha Mendalam Pengetahuan-Nya".

13. O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

Akhir sekali, mimbar Jumaat pada hari ini menyeru para jemaah dan rakyat Malaysia untuk sama-sama mendoakan semoga Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud al-Muktafi Billah Shah dan Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah diteguhkan keimanan, dilanjutkan usia, dikurniakan kesihatan dan kesejahteraan bagi mentadbir negara dan menjalankan tugas dengan sempurna.

Kita doakan juga agar negara dikekalkan nikmat kestabilan politik dan keamanan, dijauhkan dari segala perbuatan jahat dan fitnah yang boleh membawa malapetaka dan kehancuran.

Tanamkanlah rasa kasih sayang di antara rakyat yang berbilang kaum, kukuhkan perpaduan di kalangan mereka semoga sentiasa hidup aman damai, menikmati keadilan, kemakmuran dan keselamatan sepanjang zaman.

Sidang pembaca blog Mahaguru58, saudara saudari seIslam yang dihormati sekelian.

Isi khutbah di atas yang di sediakan oleh Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia @ JAKIM mengajak kita mendaulatkan Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di Pertuan Agong al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud al-Muktafi Billah Shah selaku Ketua Agama Islam Negara Malaysia ini.

Sebagai hamba rakyat dan warganegara Tanah Melayu yang tercinta ini, saya menjunjung kasih, taat setia ke bawah Duli Tuanku Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong di atas peranan dan kuasa baginda mempertahankan kesucian Ad Deenul Islam di tanahair kita ini.

Sudah tiba waktu dan ketikanya dimana kesekelian Duli Duli Tuanku Sultan Sultan, Raja dan Yang Di Pertuan Melayu memperkasakan diri dengan segala kefahaman dan ilmu agama Islam selayak kedudukan Tuanku sekelian sebagai 'Khalifah Allah' terutamanya bila di isytiharkan sebagai Ketua Agama Islam Negara dan di negeri negeri dibawah jajahan takluk dan perintah Tuanku!

Sekiranya Duli Tuanku Sultan, Raja dan Yang Di Pertuan Melayu tidak mahu 'kuasa' baginda tuanku sekelian di sentuh oleh para pegawai dan penguasa agama baik di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Jabatan Jabatan Agama atau Exco Kerajaan Negeri seperti kes di Selangor baru baru ini, maka pada hemat patik, hamba rakyat yang insaf ini, molek benarlah Duli Tuanku sekelian selaku Ketua Agama Islam Negeri dan Negara mengambil langkah proaktif menerajui usaha meninggikan Syiar Islam didalam negeri negeri dibawah perintah dan kuasa Tuanku sekelian.

Saya kira tidak ada sebarang sekatan ke atas diri Duli Tuanku Sekelian untuk menjadi alim, warak dan arif didalam segala hal berkaitan Agama Islam sempena kedudukan dan tugas Duli Tuanku sekelian selaku Ketua Agama Islam di dalam negeri Duli Tuanku masing masing dan selanjutnya menjadi Ketua Agama Islam Negara bilamana Duli Tuanku ditabal dan di mahsyurkan sebagai Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong Malaysia bila tiba giliran Duli Tuanku nanti.

Namun saya tertanya tanya akan bilakah agaknya Duli Tuanku Yang Di Pertuan Agong serta ke bawah Duli Duli Tuanku Sultan Sultan, Raja dan Yang Di Pertuan Melayu sekelian akan mula bersuara, mencantas dan mengajar pihak pihak kuffar dan munafiq serta yang musyrik didalam negara ini agar tidak memperkotak katikkan kedudukan Al Islam didalam kehidupan seharian kita didalam Kerajaan @ Mamluk Al Malaisie ini?

Agak agak bilakah kita umat Islam seMalaysia ini boleh melihat Duli Duli Tuanku sekelian mencemar duli mempertahankan Ukhuwwah Al Islamiyyah rakyat seMalaysia yang beragama Islam ini kembali bertaut sebagai satu gagasan yang berpaksikan Al Quran Al Karim dan Sunnah Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam?

Sudikah kiranya Duli Duli Tuanku bangun bertitah memerintah sekelian puak yang sedang bertelagah mengenai itu dan ini berkaitan Islam di mana Duli Duli Tuanku di mahsyurkan sebagai Ketua Ketua Agama Islam, satu satunya Agama yang di amanahkan Allah Rabbul Alamin, Tuhan Semesta Alam yang Maha Suci untuk berhenti berperang akidah diantara sesama saudara seagama dan sekaum di Tanah Melayu ini?

Agak agak nya apakah impian hamba Allah ini akan menjadi realiti semasa hayat saya ini atau sekadar menjadi retorik kosong didalam khutbah khutbah Jumaat seterusnya?

Mudah2an luahan rasa jiwa hamba sampai jua ke pengetahuan Duli Duli Tuanku sekelian.

Daulat Tuanku!

Semoga Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala memberikan Taufik dan Hidayah Nya keatas Duli Duli Tuanku Sultan Sultan, Yang Di Pertuan dan Raja Melayu seMalaysia.

Tiptoeing between the Haqq and the Batil. Between the Enjoined and the Forbidden.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Dear Ikhwanul Muslimin na wal Muslimat.

We are living in the Age of Fitnah. The Akhirul Zaman.

An age where most of the prophecies of our beloved Greatest Prophet of Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, Al Mustafa Sayyidina Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, Rahmatulil Alamin have come to pass and proven to be without a doubt that this is the End Times before Yaum al Qiyamat.

This is also the Age where Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's revelation of the Surah Al Humazah, Chapter 104 in the Holy Al Qur'anul Karim comes to be absolutely relevant when we are faced with the onslaught of slanderers and backbiters who despite their ferocity in hurling abuses, slanders and lies against their fellow Muslims cowardly choose to hide their true identities and wage their vendetta in anonymity online and off.

Sūra 104: Humaza, or the Scandal-monger

Section 1 (1-9)

1. Waylun likulli humazatin lumazatin

1. Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter,

2. Allathee jamaAAa malan waAAaddadahu

2. Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by,

3. Yahsabu anna malahu akhladahu

3. Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!

4. Kalla layunbathanna fee alhutamati

4. By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces,

5. Wama adraka ma alhutamatu

5. And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces?

6. Naru Allahi almooqadatu

6. (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze),

7. Allatee tattaliAAu AAala al-af-idati

7. The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts:

8. lnnaha AAalayhim mu/sadatun

8. It shall be made into a vault over them,

9. Fee AAamadin mumaddadatin

Truthful indeed is Allah the Most Powerful!

Dear brothers and sisters.

There are slanderers out there who accuse myself of being involved in deviant tariqahs such as the one led by Sheikh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al Haqqani Al Qubrusi Al Naqsyabandi.

Frankly speaking, I did at one time initiate myself into the said tariqah when I was learning about Al Islam in Penang and took bay'ah at the hands of Syeikh Adnan Adil Al Haqqani Al Qubrusi Al Naqsyabandi.

This initiation took place at the Zawiya of the Tariqah in Bukit Jambul, Penang. The Zawiya is established at the home of Syeikh Haji Zainuddin, son in law of Penang's 5th Governor.

I wrote about this here, explaining about how I came to be a mureed of the tariqah?

When one of our nation's topmost slanderer in the form of an anonymous coward declaring his sorry self to be 'Tulang Besi' endlessly chooses to bedevil me as a deviant follower of the said tariqah, I at first just figured that I shouldn't waste my time and bother about he who heaps upon himself all the curses that befall those described in Surah Al Humaza unnecessarily.

He inadvertently claims that he wishes me to repent and get back on the righteous path.

How sweet! I am definitely so flattered that words fail me to describe how grateful I am that my ardent fan such as slanderous he, wishes me so?

Alhamdulillah! All praises be to Allah, Our Almighty Lord, Most Supreme, Most High!

Yet there are those amongst the blogging fraternity here who unwisely choose to swallow hook, line and sinker all such slanderous filth and come nag me to answer such venom?

Actually, I could just say ' Go fly kite!' to such kind and go about my business but then again, such slanders and lies when left alone could grow to be a humongous hydra that those ill informed ones amongst the masses and even our 'Clueless in Kuala Lumpur' so called religious authorities would want to imbibe in and come snap at my old butt if I let them be!

So, let me state clearly here as to the state or level of my involvement in the tariqah.

I am a perpetual student and practitioner of my faith, Al Islam.
I am a follower of Muhammad ibni Abdullah, Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam from the moment I came to be aware of all that I do and will remain to be so till my life is taken away from my mortal being. Insya Allah.
I practice Islam according to the Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jama'ah.
I ascribe to the way the majority of Muslims here in Malaysia live our lives and practice Islam according to the Mazhab of Al Imam As Shafi'ee.
I joined the tariqah to learn more about the various forms of doing Dhikr and learned about the spiritual aspects of my faith, Al Islam taught to us by Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
Contrary to the slander that insinuates my following any of the said deviant teachings of those who hero worship any of the Syeikhs of the Tariqah, let me point and state crystal clearly here that I, Zainol Abideen @ Mahaguru58 worship none but Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and I declare myself to be an ummah of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam. Period!
I respect all righteous ulamaks of my faith and accord to them the honor that they deserve. Nothing more ; nothing less! Respect! Not hero worship or over adulate!
I do not idolize any being, no matter who or what they are or claim to be!
I practice the Dhikr and the Solats that are taught to us by Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam through his example by way of his Sunnah and authenticated Hadiths @ Sayings.
I do not practice anything that goes contrary to what is allowed us who are Muslims and I don't accept any living or dead being as my intermediary between myself and Allah Azza Wa Jalla.
If there is anyone out there who claims otherwise, I leave him or her to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Frankly speaking, I am not bothered by such slanderers for they do reap what they sow but since my blog is being read by others who have yet to learn as to who I really am, I have no choice but to clarify my side of the situation.

We will not meet any other being when we die and are entombed in our graves but the two Malaikats of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, Mungkar and Naqir Alaihis Salam's.

Thus those of us who declare ourselves to be Muslims and Mukmins ought to know better than to swallow just anything that the anonymous cowardly faultfinders out there spew forth!

Believe me when I remind you all that not one word, one insinuation, either expressed, published or uttered will escape Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's judgment in the Yaum al Akhirat!

La haula wala quwwata illa billah hal aliyyil adzhim bil sultaanik!
There is no other power except Allah the Most Powerful and Most Regal above us all!

I am sure that officers of JAKIM, JAWI, JAIS and all other JA's out there will be able to understand exactly what I have clarified here.

Didalam kitab Hadith Sahih Al Bukhari, Mukasurat 258, Bahagian Sifat Sifat Solat, Bab 43, Hadis # 479, diriwayatkan oleh Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu Anhu) bahawa :

'Beberapa orang miskin datang kepada Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam dan mengadu hal kepada baginda, "Orang orang kaya akan mendapat pahala yang lebih dan nikmat kekal di akhirat. Mereka bersolat dan berpuasa sama seperti kami. Mereka memiliki wang yang banyak membolehkan mereka mengerjakan Haji dan Umrah, berperang dan bermujahadah di jalan Allah dan menghulurkan sedekah!"

Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam bersabda : "Mahukah kamu mendengar akan satu amalan yang jika kamu lakukan pasti setanding dengan mereka?

Tiada sesiapa akan dapat menandingi kamu dan kedudukan kamu akan lebih baik dari mereka yang sekeliling kamu dan setara dengan barangsiapa yang melakukan perkara yang sama.

Sebutlah (Berdzikirlah ) Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah dan Allahu Akbar 33 kali selepas setiap solat ( fardhu)".

Sadaqa Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

Saudara saudari sekelian.

Sesungguhnya didalam ajaran ajaran Islam terdapat banyak perkara yang jika kita lakukan secara individu atau berjamaah, manfaatnya berbeza dari segi ganjaran pahala yang dijanjikan Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

Saya percaya bahawa anda semua tahu tentang perbezaan ganjaran solat sendirian dan solat berjamaah?

“Dan demikian lagi setengah daripada orang yang memeliharakan akan sembahyang dan mendirikan baginya, ia mengekalkan dan menyungguhkan atas mengerjakan dia dengan berjamaah, kerana bahawasanya orang yang sembahyang berjamaah itu lebih atas sembahyang seorang dirinya dengan dua puluh tujuh darjat." [Hadis riwayat Al-Bukhari: No. 645]

Keutamaan berzikir dan berdoa secara berjamaah sudah tentu mendapat lebih ganjaran dari Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala dan merapatkan talian silaturrahim diantara satu sama lain serta menambahkan perpaduan 'esprit de corps' sesama Muslim.

Semangat setiakawan.

Zikir dan doa itu merupakan pelengkap kepada amalan solat kita.

Bilamana ianya dilakukan secara berjamaah, secara tak langsung ianya membuahkan hasil didalam merapatkan hubungan sesama kita dan membuatkan kita rasa kasih dan sayang terhadap saudara seagama tanpa mengambil kira akan pangkat, kedudukan, ras atau warna kulit masing masing.

Soalan fly samada ianya wajib?

Bagi pendapat saya, amalan berzikir dan berdoa menuruti tuntutan hukum solat berjamaah seperti berikut:

Sabda Rasulullah saw: “Seberat-berat solat ke atas para munafiqin ialah solat isya’ dan solat subuh. Sekiranya mereka mengetahui apa yang terkandung di dalam dua solat berkenaan, tentulah mereka akan mendatanginya walaupun dalam keadaan merangkak.

Demi Allah, sesungguhnya mahu sahaja aku memerintahkan orang mendirikan solat berjamaah bersama para hadirin, kemudian aku pergi dengan beberapa orang yang membawa kayu api kepada orang yang tidak menghadirinya, lalu aku bakar rumah-rumah mereka”. [HR Bukhari No. 644. & Muslim No. 651 dari Abu Hurairah]

Hadis ini menunjukkan solat berjamaah wajib ke atas setiap orang (fardhu ain) lelaki yang mampu. Sekiranya solat jamaah adalah sunat tentulah Rasulullah saw tidak memberi amaran untuk membakarnya.

ii. Ibnu Ummi Maktum berkata: "Wahai Rasulullah, saya seorang yang buta dan rumahku pula jauh dari masjid. Penunjuk jalan saya tidak serasi dengan diri saya. Adakah keringanan untuk saya bersolat di rumah?

Rasulullah saw bertanya: “Adakah engkau mendengar azan?” Jawabku: Ya. Rasulullah saw bersabda: “Kamu tidak mendapat keringanan.” [HR Abu Daud No. 552, “Sahih”].

Saudara fly,

Berzikir dan berdoa itu adalah amalan ibadat yang menyempurnakan ibadah solat kita.

Umpama kita hadir ke suatu majlis kenduri dimana telah disediakan kepada kita pelbagai juadah yang lazat lazat serta minuman yang amat menyihatkan.

Kita hadir memaklumkan diri kepada tuan rumah dan tuan rumah suka menerima kehadiran kita. Sebaik sahaja kita selesai bersalam dengan tuan rumah, kita berbalik dan pergi membawa diri tanpa menjamah barang sesuap juadah yang dihidangkan.

Tetamu lain mendapat nikmat dari hidangan juadah lazat yang disediakan tuan rumah tetapi kita yang sombong tak kena tempat, pulang dengan berkeroncong isi perut masuk angin, keluar asap.

Pahala solat berjamaah, Insya Allah dapat tetapi sebab terlalu sibuk nak keluar dari masjid kita kerugian tidak merebut peluang bonus pahala pahala dan maghfirah @ keampunan Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala yang disediakan untuk mereka yang sabar duduk berzikir membesarkan Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala dan berselawat memuliakan Nabi Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

Zikir kepada Allah swt serta selawat ke atas Baginda Rasulullah saw seharusnya mendatangkan keinsafan, membina keimanan, memurnikan kerohanian dan mencantikkan perwatakan Muslim.

Berzikir tidak mempunyai tempat dan masa yang tertentu, walaupun umumnya terdapat kelebihan pada sebahagian tempat di dalam Islam seperti masjid, atau masa, seperti hari Jumaat.

Berzikir juga boleh dilakukan bersendiri atau di dalam satu kumpulan. Ini seperti yang dikhabarkan oleh Baginda Rasulullah saw di dalam hadis sahih riwayat Imam Al-Bukhari, Imam Muslim, Imam At-Tirmidhi dan lain-lain perawi hadis seperti yang dikumpulkan oleh Imam An-Nawawi pada bab 'Kelebihan Berkumpulan Untuk Berzikir' dalam kitabnya Riyadh As-Salihin.

Sunnah Baginda Rasulullah saw menunjukkan bahawa amalan berzikir secara berkumpulan tidak dilarang, selagi mana adab-adabnya terjaga dan tujuannya mengikut panduan syariat, maka ianya adalah satu amalan yang sangat sangat di anjurkan.

Tidak dipaksa ke atas kita tetapi hasil dari berzikir dan berdoa dengan cara berjamaah amat banyak manfaatnya.

Terpulang kepada kita samada nak merebut pahala sementara masih hidup atau mengambil risiko menghadap Allah dengan amal ibadat yang lebih kurang sahaja?

Jangan menyesal dikemudian hari bila ummah yang lain berseri seri wajah mereka di Padang Mahsyar tetapi kita raplah jingga sebab sombong tak kena tempat semasa hayat kita didunia ini.

Nak berebut rebut keluar dari masjid untuk buat apa?

Sekiranya dah sampai ajal kita, tak terawal barang sesaat ; tak terlewat barang sedetik, nyawa kita akan dicabut dek Malaikatul Maut Sayyidina Izra'il Alaihis Salam tak kiralah kita ada 'appointment' dengan Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di Pertuan Agong sekali pun!

Baginda Tuanku sendiri akan kembali menghadap Rabbul Alamin bilamana sampai saat dan ketika bagi diri tuanku sendiri. Insya Allah!

Fikir fikir lah wahai saudaraku. Bawa bertenang didalam beribadah dan hayati akan maksud dan tujuan kita beribadah sepertimana di perintah oleh Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala dan di tuntut oleh Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam!

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Pagi tadi, saya berkesempatan singgah di Utusan Publications Taman Shamelin yang sedang mengadakan jualan buku teks dan bahan bahan penerbitan yang lain.

Secara kebetulan je saya terpandang iklan tentang jualan buku ini di suratkhabar, maka saya terus kesana dan membeli beberapa naskhah buku buku yang menarik minat saya.

Semalam, saya telah membeli beberapa buku yang memang sangat sangat saya perlukan demi menambah bahan bacaan serta untuk menjadi bahan rujukan dan kajian saya di Ampang Point. Harganya amat berpatutan.

Isu Papantanda Jawi Penang Free School ~ Putera MIC mengugut Pengetua PFS?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Seperti biasa, mantan Ketua Pembangkang Malaysia Lim Kit Siang telah mencetuskan satu polemik terbaru mengenai penggunaan Jawi didalam papantanda salah sebuah sekolah terkemuka di negeri kelahiran saya iaitu di Sekolah Menengah Penang Free yang kini selama lima penggal ditadbir oleh pengetua berbangsa Melayu.

Di laman blog beliau kini semakin rancak para pembenci Jawi berkampong meluahkan rasa dan menghela cerca dan kata nesta terhadap pemasangan papantanda sekolah ini dengan Jawi serta sudah sampai ke tahap penglibatan pergerakan politik Putera MIC yang kelihatan sedang mengugut pengetua Penang Free School supaya membongkar keluar papantanda tersebut dan menggantikan dengan papantanda lain yang memuatkan 4 bahasa ~ Bahasa English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Tamil dan Bahasa Mandarin!

Saya memetik sebahagian perenggan akhir surat dari N.G. SENTHELNATHAN Timbalan Ketua Putera MIC , Negeri Pulau Pinang & Ketua Penerangan MIC Negeri : "Kegagalan pihak tuan menjawab warkah ini akan memaksa pihak kami untuk bertindak dengan lebih agresif untuk mengatasi masaalah ini yang di anggap serius!"

Saya tertanya tanya akan bentuk tindakan yang lebih agresif ini yang merupakan satu ugutan terbuka dari Putera MIC terhadap Tuan Pengetua Penang Free School Encik Ramli bin Din?

* Sila klik pada warkah tuntutan serta ugutan Putera MIC tersebut di atas untuk membacanya dengan lebih jelas di tetingkap yang lain.

Saya telah bercuti ke Kuala Terengganu baru baru ini dan sempat merakam beberapa papantanda kedai kedai milik orang orang China disana.

Saya rasa bangga melihat pekedai pekedai China Terengganu memartabatkan tulisan Jawi di papantanda premis perniagaan mereka dengan begitu gah sekali tanpa sebarang masaalah!

Itu dia simbol warga yang tahu bersyukur dan memegang teguh pada pepatah ' Dimana bumi dipijak ; di situ langit di junjung!'

Sebaliknya masih ramai yang keliru bahawa papantanda Jawi Penang Free School itu petanda awal proses 'pengIslaman' sekolah sekular tertua di Pulau Pinang.

Ini dikuatkan dengan bentuk komen komen di blog Lim Kit Siang yang mempersoalkan motif disebalik pemasangan papantanda bertulis Jawi di pintu masuk utama sekolah berkenaan.

Kenapakah minda sesetengah pihak seperti Lim Kit Siang dan penyokong penyokongnya serta pihak Putera MIC perlu menjadi sempit dan jumud sebegini?

Apakah mereka ini tidak lahir, membesar dan berinteraksi secara terus dengan kebanyakan penduduk berbangsa Melayu di negara ini?

Kenapakah masih mereka keliru di antara mana satu bahasa serta tulisan dan yang mana satu agama anutan orang orang Melayu di Malaysia?

Bukankah ada manusia manusia berbangsa China Malaysia yang handal dan mahir berbahasa Melayu, berkeupayaan menulis dan membaca didalam Jawi tetapi masih kekal hidup sebagai seorang China penganut Buddha, Taoism atau Kristian?

Kenapa perlu di politikkan sebuah papantanda?

Dah tak ada perkara lain yang lebih patut mereka menumpukan perhatian mereka?

Kok sempit kepala otak yang berkenaan?

Belajar lah mencari jalan untuk menambah baik mutu kehidupan kalian dari membuang masa mencari pasal...

Kan lebih berfaedah gitu?
