Not because I’m a liberal, or a socialist, or I am “not patriotic” enough to support the war efforts. I said that because I had lost faith that there could be a candidate in the Republican Party uncontrolled by the corporate and media elite; a candidate possibly less unattractive and less controlled than any of the Democrats. There has been an obvious and re-occurring theme in recent elections that when voters are asked “who are you voting for?” that their answer is to some degree based on the relative less unattractiveness of the other candidate(s).

For almost eight years, America has been fooled by an administration that came to power and misuses its power by saying one thing, and doing another. They said they would decrease the size of government; we have the biggest bureaucracy ever. They said Iraq had WMDs and Bush said the war was over; clearly they did not and it isn’t. Our education was a priority; our schools are deteriorating. They claim to respect the values and morals of true Christians; yet Bush’s corrupt cronies continue to be ousted as sinners.

In a perfect world, a political party would support candidates that reflect the ideals of those they represent. In this world, the Republican Party told its members (twice) that the Bush administration was that reflection. In this world, the Republican Party leaders have walked hand-in-hand with the President since 2000. They supported his nomination, his positions, his actions, his vision, and exhibit the same exemplary ability to say one thing to cover up another. The current administration has been tagged by the world as corrupt and incompetent and clearly has no qualms with lying to its citizens; and yet the same party leaders who put them in power are telling their constituency to listen to the same messages from new messengers.
While those who control our current politics will use their ability to fool people into believing their rhetoric will represent their actions, Ron Paul continues to give direct, honest, and unfiltered answers; backed up by his past actions and current facts. Ron Paul can win over voters who are sick of choosing the least bad candidate because Ron Paul exudes integrity. And thankfully, as witnessed on November 5th, a glimpse of integrity can rekindle a dying enthusiasm for hope in American politics. Ron Paul can win because there will be Democrats like me, Independents like me, and Republicans like me that will vote for Ron Paul because he has a history of supporting his messages with his actions and shielding the persuasion of corporate greed with his integrity.

If you are under the impression that the “Ron Paul Revolution” has been borne from radicalism and is out of touch with the average voter, as the media is telling us, please do American politics the courtesy of making that decision for yourself. Direct information on Ron Paul and his message can be found by googling his name, listening to him on http://www.youtube.com/RonPaul2008dotcom, visiting www.RonPaul2008.com , or researching his history.

-S.C. Ron Paul ever the opportunist has decided that he can use this tactic in his fundraising goals as well.

Bill Crystal reports, “Ron Paul’s campaign has resorted to cloning their 10 nationwide supporters into a team of zombies that counterfeit money and send it to the Ron Paul campaign.” He goes on, “This rationally explains his popularity on Meetup.com, MySpace.com and the Blogosphere… Honestly, who cares about the constitution anymore? How else could the obscure Congressmen Paul beat out McCain in fundraising?”

It was reported that John McCain was irate with Ron Paul’s tactics. He was quoted as saying “This is just unfair, how come I don’t get to use cloning too? I just don’t understand how anyone could have developed this technology without an approval and full support from the Bush Administration”.

The Interactive Constitutional resource, iConstitution.blogspot.com, is about the only group happy with this practice, “Our unique hits are up 10,000% it seems this Ron Paul cloning scam is great for constitutional websites, we would go out of business if it wasn’t for Ron Paul.”

Sources close to the campaign have reported that to save campaign contributions they are going to start employing humanoid robots to stand on street corners with campaign signs, above freeways and pass out Ron Paul literature. The Ron Paul campaign was unavailable to comment.

By Anthony Astolfi

Donkefanthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04789021194665203262noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963571818573138366.post-52188594467541382612007-07-06T13:31:00.000-07:002007-07-06T14:22:42.692-07:00Ron Paul is Top Story on ABC News

Check out the video:
http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=3352795

Donkefanthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04789021194665203262noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963571818573138366.post-70931704291427412662007-07-06T13:28:00.000-07:002007-07-06T13:29:11.402-07:00Ron Paul Tops McCain in Cash on HandABC News' George Stephanopoulos Reports: Though often regarded as a longshot candidate for president, Republican Ron Paul tells ABC News that he has an impressive $2.4 million in cash on hand after raising an equal amount during the second quarter, putting him ahead of one-time Republican frontrunner John McCain, who reported this week he has only $2 million in the bank.

In an exclusive interview taped Friday and airing Sunday on "This Week," Paul said his campaign is on a better trajectory than McCain's.

"I think some of the candidates are on the down-slope, and we're on the up-slope," said Paul.

Paul's cash on hand puts him in third place in the Republican field in that important metric, although he is well behind leader Rudy Giuliani, who has $18 million in the bank, and Mitt Romney, with $12 million.

Paul, who polls show with support in the low single digits, said his surprisingly strong fundraising is the best measure of his support.

"I think people have underestimated the number of people in this country who are interested in a freedom message," says the Republican congressman from Texas, who has strong libertarian leanings.

To watch Paul's full interview, tune in to "This Week" on Sunday (check local listings).

Donkefanthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04789021194665203262noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963571818573138366.post-58858507624101055802007-06-30T19:53:00.000-07:002007-06-30T19:57:00.967-07:00Ron Paul at Iowa Forum
By Chris Dorsey
IowaPolitics.com

DES MOINES -- The lack of an invitation didn't stop< Congressman Ron Paul from crashing the party.

Congressman Paul, R-Texas, was not extended an invitation to speak at Saturday's Iowans for Tax Relief/Iowa Christian Alliance forum at Hy-Vee Hall in Des Moines. instead of individuals. We don’t have rights as gays or women or minorities; we receive our rights from our Creator as individuals. If homosexual behaviour in the military is disruptive it should be dealt with; but if heterosexual behaviour in the military is disruptive it should be dealt with too. Apply the same standards to everybody.

Donkefanthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04789021194665203262noreply@blogger.com0
