Some of those women could have grown up on farms near the woods and known the names of all those plants, with mothers and grandmothers who taught them. It takes all kinds to make this wild and wacky world of ours, sadly those gals were not on your plane of thought but who's to say that that is wrong? I mean they may be into really wonderful life altering things too that you or I would never dream of doing...much less have the time to. They might be sending Girl Scout cookies to the troops overseas or volunteering at the local old folks home. Life in the woods is alien to them but then that's okay because with little or no knowledge they could do more harm than good. In her kindergarten league, everyone bats until they get a hit, everyone gets on base, nobody is out, everyone comes home. If they play 4 innings, the "score" is always 40-40. Wouldn't it be good if life were always that fair?<BR/>And while I'm sitting there, I'm also watching crows harrassing redtails in the treetops, and thinking about the fresh poo I found in the "fox latrine" area on the trail where I hike, so that I can have a good guess what the fox has been eating (squirrel yesterday, vole today!)
