Sandy, I hope I said it with my eyes. Jen had told me about your pilgrimage. I was reminded of 1994, of having to arrange to ship my dad (whole) to Iowa, where he was born, to be buried. It was what he wanted,so I did it. It is something that we must do, a sad honor, and I was with you. You are so special. I still chuckle about your breeding plumage comment.

The first picture of the beach and the lighthouse off in the distance is the area where I left some of my das's ashes the day before. I took a picture of the envelope on the Headlands sign.

Lovely. I had a peregrine fly-over on Sat at Headlands with Jen, and a gorgeous perched peregrine posed for us on Sunday at Geneva SP.

Ooohhh, Fairport Harbor! I've never been there, but I love Ohio's lighthouses.
And a peregrine...the only one I have even seen is Lucy, RAPTOR's program bird.
