On Boston's and snoring...Chet comes from a long line of fierce snorers. His grandmother, Maeve Bean can suck the curtains off the windows! I bring her in to sleep with me when her human daddy Bob is out of town...I need the WHITE (yeah right)sound to put me to sleep. Julie, you are so right, these dogs love everyone and everything except chipmunks, rabbits and squirrels. Well that's not quite correct...they just love those three creatures to death!

Naughty, faithless Kathi. We won't tell your dogs. Bostons get along with everyone, anyway! Chet's breeder, Jane Streett, tells me I have sold more Bostons for her than I'll ever know. On that site, you will see pictures of Maeve Bean (Chet's grammy)and Chili Bean (his mom), as well as the adorable Miss Cocoa Bean and Miss Coffee Bean. Jane Streett represents a number of reliable breeders, so there are always pups available on her site. I was lucky enough to get one of her own puppies, and you can be sure that I'll go back to her (in about 15 years). She breeds for health and temperament first.

I have always been a "big dog person" but between knowing several Bostons who are patients at my office and of course, reading the tales of the famous Chet Baker Zickefoose-Thompson, I am getting more and more interested in Boston Terriers. Their happy-go-lucky personalities and zest for life are infectious.
