We are however very much in support of free speech and therefore can not deny h.tilly the right to post her comments on our blog.<BR/><BR/>I do appreciate the support for protesting the timbering of the park. It is however my understanding that fear of sexual activity in the park was the cause for the destructive clearing of undergrowth (and compression of soils and root systems) along the road going into Scott Park. It is my belief that this bulldozing of the park ultimately led to the timbering plans that we are now faced with. During the clearing work a man working for the township was hit with a tree that he was felling and was hospitalized.<BR/><BR/>On a personal note I have been a frequent visitor to Scott Park for<BR/>over twenty years and I have never seen anything like the scene described by h.tilly. I walk there with my son often and have never<BR/>felt uncomfortable.
