Drift City Review

OVERVIEW :
Drift city is an unique online racing game. Unlike most racers it is online and delivers both solid single player (you still have to be online) and great multiplayer.
You may find yourself playing this one for hours and never getting bored.

GAMEPLAY :
There are 2 main choices of gameplay. Battle Dome (races versus other players) and missions.
Battle Dome get's you racing with other players. These races are really fun and the better you rank in them the more exp you will gain (needed for new cars). I think the multiplayer aspect is quite solid. Playing is fun and no major glitches have been found to interrupt the races.
As of the Missions. These are pretty good, but not that exciting. Somewhat like the GTA series.
Drive-this-there, pick-up-that, get-there-on-time and etc. Anyone who played GTA knows these types of missions.
You complete those game modes in a variety of cities, which is quite nice as most racers give only one.
Missions are important as they give a lot more exp then just racing does. And sometimes you just want to race without the competition. Just for the driving.
It's a nice touch for an MMO racer to have these 2 modes.
Overall the game is solid and playable. A must-have for racing game fans.

GRAPHICS :
Cellshaded, cartoonish graphics. They do their job pretty nicely.
Also smooth on the processor and runs lag-less.

Anarchy Online Review

OVERVIEW :
Anarchy online is free (with advertisements) Sci-Fi MMORPG. At first it was a commercial MMORPG, but later adopted Free2Play. When it launched back in 2001 it was praised for it's grapihics, gameplay and the ability to deal with evry aspect of the game solo.

GAMEPLAY :
A nice combat system. The terrains are well drawn . There's a big variety of enemy's you can engage in battle with.
The customization is superb, you have a lot more options here as oposed to other MMORPG's.
The game is very democratic in the sense that any class can wield almost any weapon. And all clases can use Nano-Formulas (the equivalent of magic in the game).
PvP is not bad, but not as exciting as in most game's these days.
Evryghting is very balanced and well built. None of the games features feel tagged-on.
The game feels quite good and you often feel being you're character. Worse, that's not the fable feel of WoW or Sword Of The New World, but still it's a nice touch.
The quests (called missions) are quite fun, The good rewards you gain from them keep you away from grinding. Some game's have suffered from quests with little pay-off. Well, Anarchy Online isn't one of them.
The game does have some glitches, a little bit more then in most games. But these don't enterfere with the general gameplay that much.
There are so many items in the game, that the combinations you can get are practically limitless.
Overall the game feels quite good. And you never feel forcing yourself to "do that quest", "grind here" and etc.
Evryghting here is well balanced and just fit's in ideally. And about the balance, there's no item shop! Yes, no premium items! This game is free with ads, but if you want different expansions.. Some of them are still P2P.

GRAPHICS :
Back in the day - state of the art. Now - not so good. Most game's do look better. But the graphics suits the game. And almost every piece of graphics feels polished. The terrains are beautiful, to say the least. These dated graphics still pack a big sense of realism.

GAMERS THOUGHTS : Yes, you can play it and get a ton of fun. It's quite old and doesn't have some of the features that have become must have right now. But, it's polished, nice looking, good playing and that's the only thing that matters. Do i recommend it? If you are searching for a game to play, it might as well be Anarchy Online. Most of the MMORPG gamers have already played it. So play a few weeks, at least you will know what makes it so good.

OVERALL : 7/10
THE GOOD : Balance; nice feel to the game; everything is just where it should be; no premium shop.
THE BAD : dated graphics; some minor glithes.

WarRock Review

OVERVIEW :
WarRock is a popular, free MMOFPS with a lot of nice features.

GAMEPLAY :
Unlike most games, you can actually choose the gameplay you want. Be it the Soldier Front-like, Close Quarters Combat. The Mid-range Call Of Duty-like, Urban Ops. Or the massive BattleField-like Battle Group.
All of the modes are pretty nice to play. In the last two you have access to vehicles.
Vehicles are a big thing in the game. Some of them do feel tagged on. But WarRock wouldn't be WarRock if it haven't it's vehicles. They play a huge role in combat.
From the tiny motorcycle's to the massive airplane's.
As of overall competitive gameplay, it is nor good, nor bad. In comparison to Soldier Front, this game is more fun to play. But Solider Front has that special something that makes you choose it over WarRock.
Comparing these two can take a lot of time. But if you're into the more BattleField huge scale maps. You're choice is definitely WarRock. If you get tired of huge maps, just change the game mode. It's that easy! That is definitely WarRock's special something that makes it unique.
Another nice feature is the leveling system. Like in games like GunZ: The Duel or Soldier Front you earn XP and currency for each kill.
Lags are an issue, yet not as big as in some games.

GRAPHICS :
As of this moment, outdated. But not horrible. They are pretty decent and superior to Soldier Front. You can say they are on a pretty high level, but not as high as we would like.

Yeah, WarRock is a nice game. It's not the perfect game, but it's a pretty decent game. You can give it a try. Play the 3 game modes and you will certainly find one that you will like.
As of overall gameplay it's worse then Soldier Front, yet it's more fun as the game has more content.

OVERALL : 6/10
THE GOOD : the ability to change the gameplay via 3 game modes; The vehicles are decent; May get intense.
THE BAD : The game is pretty much cash based, you must buy in order to win; some lag issues;

Soldier Front Review

OVERVIEW :
Solider Front is a free MMOFPS game. It plays simular to Counter-Strike, but has more gameplay twists; weapons and the best thing in an MMO game, a ranking system.
So the gameplay is similar to Counter-Strike, only with the MMO feel. Awcourse knowing your rank is a great feature. And no one will ever steal your nickname, as you make a character and it get created on the server.
This is simular to GunZ: The Duel, yet in a true FPS setting.
Overall it's a pretty nice game, there have been some issues with it being to easy. This is because of the simple hit boxes.

GAMEPLAY :
The ussual in a competitive team FPS game. You create/enter a room and start the battle to death. For each frag you gain rankings and SP. SP is the currency in the game. You can buy weapons with it.
Playing this is quite interesting. Usually im not a fan of team FPS games, but this made a few hours of my life a lot more interesting. Killing a player in this game is sometimes extremely easy. Spray And Pray work excellently.
There are some lag issues, but they aren't as big to ruin the game.
As of what can ruin the game. The textures are glitched, and some players can actually get inside them. With is really frustrating. The developers have said that these bugs will soon be fixed. I truly hope so.

GRAPHICS :
Not so good. I usually am not a graphics whore. But to tell you the truth, these do look pretty ugly. When your in deep gameplay, it doesn't ruin the game. But if you see the game for the first time, it makes you change your mind about playing it.

Not a very new concept, but fun to play.

Rakion Online Review

OVERVIEW :
Rakion Online is a free Korean MMORPG. It is very unique to say the least.
It's somewhat GunZ in a fantasy setting, with more depth and better AI in quests.

GAMEPLAY :
You choose a room, and play either a quest PvE game, or a PvP game. Unlike other games with this system, Rakion's PvE portion is great. It feels like it was made to be co-op MMORPG, with no PvP at sight. As the PvE delivers a great experience.
As for the PvP, it's also pretty decent. The game is focused on combat, so the PvP is on a very high level.
The game uses a peer-to-peer networking system ( Like GunZ and S4 League ). So the lag is an issue, not as big as in other games, but it exists.
After you gain a high amount of kills in a game, you can transform into cell-form. It's like the Quad-damage in Warsow, or Berserker in GunZ. A nice feature to say the least.

GRAPHICS :
Not the best graphics. Bulky textures, and some special effects. It's not eye-candy, but the game doesn't lag on slow PC's. And if you have to sacrifice graphics for the gameplay in a game with a concept like this, do it! The worst thing possible are even more lags.

Sword of the New World: Granado Espada Review

OVERVIEW :
Sword of the New World: Granado Espada is a 17-18 century based MMORPG. It features unique visuals, controlling multiple characters in the same time and a great storyline.
It won multiple awards and truly is the ONE of free MMORPG's. It's the most unique game in there.

GAMEPLAY :
You control 3 characters at a time. It's quite challenging on it's own, as you must keep an eye and coordinate a whole party by yourself. Experimenting with different clases and setups is the key to victory. Overall you always have fun when grinding, as trying out different setups is quite fun. As of quests, there aren't as many as in WoW, but enough for a free MMORPG.
As most great free MMORPG's, Sword Of The New World features epic pvp. Family Vs Family ; Faction Vs Faction and the amazing City Vs City. The game controls basic character actions (like attack and healing), but the more complex stuff is up to you. So, its not hard to learn but has a big skill requirement to be a great player.
It plays like an hybrid of an RTS and an RPG. So you play not only with your heart, but also your brain.

GRAPHICS :
Stunning, at this moment the best graphics ever seen in an MMORPG (free or paid).
Won an award for the best PC graphics 2006, in Korea.

I mean a lot of games got praised by players just because their great compared to other free games. As if Sword Of The New World, you can compare it to the industry giants and never see it lose much.

OVERALL : 8/10

Jam Legend Review

OVERVIEW :
Jam Legend is a new Guitar Hero/Rock Band clone. It's played through a web browser, and is a hell of fun. New songs are added regulary, and it's 100% free!

GAMEPLAY :
Mutch like any Guitar Hero clone. Only this is played through a web browser.
There's a fun versus player mode. You can challange your friends ( even if they aren't online! ).
A lot of fun songs, and nice gameplay.
Feels like real guitar hero. The graphics aren't that good, but it doesn't ruin the superb gameplay.
A lot of people wanted that a long time ago, and it's finally here !

GRAPHICS :
Flash based, nothing special. But it fits nicely with the game.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS :
Web browser and a flash player.

UNIQUE FEATURES :
Great Guitar Hero-like gameplay; Good versus player features;

GAMERS THOUGHTS :
A nice concept overall. Fun gameplay, a lot of songs and a good ranking system.
Playing this can get very addictive. And you can play 5 minutes at a time, or up to several hours without getting bored. A lot of people wanted that a long time ago, and it's finally here! Overall it's a very great game and a must play for Guitar Hero fans!

OVERALL : 7/10

Shaiya Review

OVERVIEW :
Shaiya is a great, free korean MMORPG. It features stunning graphics, massive (1500v1500) Realm Versus Realm PvP . Controls in the style of P2P mmorpg's. Well made professions that dont feel tagged on.

GAMEPLAY :
As you first log in, you see this huge landscape. The maps in the game are epic!
You move around with WASD , as opposed to click-to-move. All the games features are well made. You have a lot of options and paths in the game, wich makes it feel like a fable.
It has the feeling of WoW. You feel yourself in a world, not a game. This makes you forget yourself in the game. You get the feeling of playing a high-end p2p MMORPG.
The game feels nice and well built.
Another cool feature is the fact that you can choose your difficulty setting. This is truelly an innovative feature. Much like Diablo 2, which had the normal and the hardcore difficulty.
Only here you have a lot more options.
As of PvP, it's one of the best games in this term. Balanced, overthought, just plain fun.
Overall you have a huge amount of distraction from grinding. And playing this is a hell of fun.
I think this could be a WoW killer, but it wasn't advertised enough.

Stunning, if you enjoyed WoW's one's. You will love these! Just Epic!

So the second time i will give a 9 out of 10. But, if GunZ got it for the button-mashing, but Shaiya got it for the whole game!

OVERALL : 9/10

Requiem : Bloodymare Review

OVERVIEW :
Requiem is a korean , horror MMORPG. The horror MMORPG ganre isn't quite big , and the only good game was Dark Eden. But that was 10 years ago anyway. Well, horror fans. This year will be a happy one for you!

GAMEPLAY :
Intense combat, a little sense of fear, huge amount of blood and gore. That the first things that pop into my mind when i think of Requiem. There are games that you can play hours-on-end. But after playing Requiem i didn't get one feeling a always got from playing a free mmorpg. Usually you think, " Again , i spent 16 hours of my life grinding in that crappy mmo ". As of Requiem, you get the same feeling like after WoW, Dark Eden or Guild Wars.
You really had a good time. And didn't work hard grinding.
The PvP has a nice touch and i look forward to the games speciality, the 96v96 battles.
The DNA system is a nice touch, but it doesn't feel revolutionary.
The gore looks fantastic, because the graphics are awsome!
It's a great game, especially for people who enjoyed Dark Eden or Diablo.

S4 League review

OVERVIEW :
S4 League , is a fresh , free , Korean MMO TPS. Mutch like GunZ:The Duel. The both games share the same concept, only they do it in a EXTREMELY different way. S4 League is more futuristic, sci-fi like. The graphics are cartoonish, the game play is fun. Unlike GunZ, which is realistic and intense.

GAMEPLAY :
Much like GunZ, you join a room and start playing. You kill players, gain exp. Like in GunZ, the game has quite a few tricks you can perform to evade enemy fire.
The networking system of the two games is the same Peer-to-Peer connection, so lags are a big trouble.
Unlike GunZ the game has only 2 gameplay modes, but a HUGE selection of maps. It may get repetitive after time, but it's still darn fun.
When something is destroyed, it is decrypted into data , this gives the game that futuristic feel.
The game is very competitive and even is nominated for being an official discipline in the 2009 World Cyber Games.
Overall it's a game you can spend 5 minutes and get entertained, but can also play for hours and not get bored.

GRAPHICS :
Anime-like, solid graphics. They suit the game perfectly

Is this good for the HardCore? Yes! It's even great for the hardcore. As it is fast,competitive, fun to play. And even may become a WCG descipline !!

Dark Eden Review

OVERVIEW :
Dark Eden is an old, Korean MMORPG. One of the pioneers of the genre , and the pioneer of Horror MMORPG's. It was released in Korea in 1997, but the global version became available only after 10 years. It focuses on the war between Vampires and Slayers.

GAMEPLAY :
The gameplay is similar to Diablo I. Unlike other game's that copied the diablo franchise ( like Mu Online ) , Dark Eden has left the beat'em'up style combat in place. It get's boring, but if you're a fan of Diablo I ( or even Diablo II ) , you may find this worthwhile.
I must say, that the game play is fun , but the combat is TERRIBLY slow. Maybe it's just me , but this is an insanely slow game!
But, once you get used to the graphics and the speed. It's quite a fun game! It's very in depth, and playing for each race in different ( in ways of skills , and even gaining exp! ).
The PvP combat is brutal and a hell of fun.
Overall it's a great time waster, but sometime the bad graphics just drive you mad.
The suprising thing about the game , is that it's STILL frequently updated!

GRAPHICS :
If it was 1997 , id say that these are state of the art. But it's 2008, and now it's just terrible.
Normally the developers can't do anything about that. But this isn't the case!
The game is STILL updated regularly and making a graphics update is a must!

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS :

GAMERS THOUGHTS :
Yes, if you're a Diablo fan, this is a must play. Some MMORPG's copied the look and feel. But this is almost the same game, even more brutal and has more gore and violence. It's actually more frightening then Diablo. This is a great feature that almost all mmorpg's lack, the depth you'd get in a single-player game.
Great gameplay, but the graphics are so dated that it makes you're eyes bleed.
And the game is pretty slow. These 2 factors bring the game from almost-perfect to low-mediocore.

OVERALL : 5/10

Cabal Online Review

OVERVIEW :
Cabal online is a free , korean mmorpg with a unique combat system.

GAMEPLAY :
Korean companies make a lot of free MMORPG's , and Cabal is one of them.
The gameplay between them is quite the same. But Cabal's great combo system , plus it's stunning graphics are really the things i like about cabal.
It has a decent quest system, it's combat is good.
There are only a few clases thought. But , the game feels pretty mutch finished.
Playing this game is quite addicting. Again there is a quite amount of grinding.

GRAPHICS :
High-end. They are great, and a lot better then is some other korean MMORPG's ( like SilkRoad and Knight Online ).

OVERVIEW :
Knight Online is a very-popular , free Korean mmorpg. The game was praised for it's graphics back in the day. It's combat system is strong , and large tournaments are played.

GAMEPLAY :
Somewhat a grindfest , but the huge amount of quests keeps you'r mind away from that. Yes , you do have to grind , but there's so much more to do !
Getting a quest done to get new armor or participating in the great PvP.
About the PvP . Knight Online has one of the best combat systems along MMORPG's ! The 1 on 1's are great , but it's true perl is the realm versus realm. Over 10,000 people in a single combat.
Just fantastic.
The gameplay is somewhat ruined by the games popularity. Crowded servers , and long waits to get online do ruin the excitement. But once you're there , it's hard to leave !

GRAPHICS :
Superb graphics , back in the day. Now they aren't as fantastic , as other games pack even more detail. Still the graphics are really high level for a free MMORPG.

OVERVIEW :
Silkroad Online , is a free Korean 3d mmorpg. The game is centered around the "Silkroad" , a path by witch merchants from asia and europe traded goods with eatch other.
Your primary goal is getting rich. You can choose three paths on achieving that.
The game has superb graphics.

GAMEPLAY :
The gameplay is pretty mutch addicting. Simular to Mu Online it's a grindfest , yet there are a lot more quests in Silkroad.
The combat is the games main focus. It's really fun to battle , and the PvP is great.
As of quests , they are pretty decent and provide you with some fun.
The game is very addicting , and just has that little sparkle that makes it fun to play .
A big downside , well the servers are constantly full. But you can buy a reserved slot.

GRAPHICS :
Amazing! Best graphics i saw in a Free MMORPG ( After Grenada Espada ).

OVERVIEW :
CS-MANAGER is a browser-based mmo manager game . Here you take on a role of an Counter-Strike clan manager. Unlike most browser-based manager games , i must say , this one is pretty fun . The game offers more action and a faster-changing situation .

GAMEPLAY :
A perfect text-based interface ! It's really great and easy . The pages look very clean and colourfull. It mixes javascript , flash and plain-good HTML code to give you that feel . You do need to download plug-ins to play this , but it's worth it ( 99% of people have them for other reasons anyway ).
What i like about this is it's season system , ( unlike hattrick ) a full season is 50 days . So you get a match ( or even more ) every day ! It's just makes the game more fun , then waiting a week to know the result .
2d-match viewing , is a good add-on . It costs a few bucks , but it's worth it ! It's one of those few manager games that offer you to view the FULL game . You don't just get random numbers , but a full , graphical game !!
You do have to sociolise here to make you'r team stronger . So after the first day of playing , you end up with a few friends . After a while you feel like in a family , and just don't wan't to leave the game .

GRAPHICS :
Text & Flash . A really good , clean interface. A lot of graphical content , 2d match-viewing . This game has it all ! Really , for a browser-based manager game , it's graphics are superb !

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS : Any browser ; Flash plug-in .

PAID OPTIONS : VIP membership gives you : 2d match-viewing , weekly reports , and detailed stats .

UNIQUE FEATURES : Really fun , for a manager games . One-of-a-kind Counter-Strike clan management simulator . Nice gameplay . The game is very balananced . Fast seasons . Graphical match-viewing .

GAMERS THOUGHTS : Yeah , it's a good game . If you'r a manager game player , or a counter-strike fan . One of the best browser-based manager games ever ! Really an excellent game !!

OVERVIEW :
Hattrick is an extremely popular online football manager game .
You really don't need to introduce it . It's the biggest manager game in the world !
And yeah , it's free .

GAMEPLAY :
It's a very accurate simulation . You can control evryghting ! It's really in depth ( a little to much for me to be honest ) . Controlling the WHOLE team is sometimes very hard . It really requires you to be online about an hour a day ( witch isn't a lot , but you can't miss ANY day as you will lose some control and your team will be a little bit weaker ) .
The premium service is the ideal of a premium service !! For the payers : you get a lot more features and abilities + you have more custumization options . For the free players : the premium users don't have unfair advantages ( they just get more info + premium forums and newsletters ) .
Like if you would be a real club manager , your team plays once a week . And championships and etc. play like a real football season . It's the real deal !
But i find it too long ( but that's my opinion , others like that ) .

GRAPHICS :
Nice text based graphics . Clean interface. Intuitive controls.
Nothing much , but feels pretty comfortable.
You can get more graphics with free add-ons witch can be downloaded from the site .

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS : Any browser .

PAID OPTIONS :
A 30$/year subscription . You get more stats , ability to customize your teams logo's and etc.
Ability to join more conferences . And a lot of off-site features .

UNIQUE FEATURES :
It excellently simulates the job of a manager .

GAMERS THOUGHTS : If you like manager game's and football . This is a must have !

GunZ : The Duel Review

OVERVIEW :
GunZ The Duel is a free online-only Third Person Shooter with RPG elements . I must say that its a very under-rated game . I mean its practicly perfect , only bad marketing left it out of the sunshine .
GAMEPLAY :
In GunZ you gain levels for frags or by killing monsters ( in quest mode ) . The better you play the faster you level . Its a feature i would like in a lot of FPS games . As you feel that your not spending time on nothing , you're leveling your character . It's an interesting system , and it works pretty well .
There are quite a few gameplay modes like : Deathmatch , Team Deathmatch , Deathmatch + Berserker , Assasination , Gladiator , Quest and etc. You can play on for hours .
The combat is great and fast . Hardcore gamers utilize the ability to cancel animations ( yes , like in good-old Street Fighter II ).
The weapon variety is amazing , from pistols and grenades to rocket launchers , uzi's and katanas.
Gaining levels allows you to get better items , so your hours of gameplay do payoff .
The game doesn't feature a storymode , but its no biggie . I mean its like counter-strike , you just don't need one .
To be a frag-master here you need to have a golden aim , a ton of patience and a little bit of luck .
I can see GunZ as a perfect eSport some day .

GRAPHICS :
The game is a few years old , but on high settings it looks great ! Far more then you would expect from a free game .

GAMERS THOUGHTS :
A must play ! Judge for yourself : It's free , it's great , the game has a loot of room for skill .
A casual player may have a ton of fun . As for the hardcore , well.. Are you hardcore enough for this !!?? It's a big challenge , and totally worth to play .

OVERALL : 9/10
It's just perfect . Yes no story line and some features are messed up . But those are minor things, the gameplay is just so : addictive , skill-based , fun , fast & intense . You just want more and more .
I personally love this game so much i would give it an 11 ! But , as a critic i must state that the game does has some flaws . There minor , but there are some and you feel them . So becouse of that it got a 9 , instead of a 10 .
THE GOOD : great gameplay ; it's skill based , it's free ; nice graphics (on high setting , for a free game); a great mix of shooting and leveling .
THE BAD : some minor flaws ; no storyline .

Mu Online Review

OVERVIEW : Mu online is a korean mmorpg . It is a very popular mmorpg in korea .
It's gameplay reminds of Diablo II . And its a hell of an experience !!

GAMEPLAY :
If you have played Diablo II , you will have no problems with Mu Online . Same camera , stats , combat concept and etc . It does proove to be more interesting and addictive then Diablo II .
You often find your selves playing for 12+ hours and not feeling like grinding . Witch is an interesting thing , because the game is a grindfest .
There are a few quests in the game , and they aren't any good . But the grinding and the multiplayer interaction is so great , you forget about the lack of quests .
There are some interesting events like : BloodCastle , Devil Square , Castle Siege and more .
Some of witch are PvE , others PvP .
The maximum level is 400 witch is pretty hard to reach ( especially if your not playing for a premium account or an Power Item ).
The bad thing is , well there's no storyline .

GRAPHICS :
The graphics have much more depth then Diablo II's . They do look brighter , witch is a good thing when playing hours at a time .

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS :
Pentium III 500 MHz equiv, 64MB RAM, 32 MB graphics card, Internet access, DirectX 8, sound card, 250 MB hard drive space.

PAID OPTIONS : You can buy : premium status ; Power Up! Items .
Premium accounts get more exp and drop , and the items do the same ( generally they expect you to use the items on a premium account for maximum effect).

UNIQUE FEATURES :
The game is a grindfest , but it never gets boring . The Diablo II style gameplay is interesting .
The game has a inormous variety of items and posibilities to enchant them ( over 300,000 possible combos ).
GAMERS THOUGHTS :
I would give this game a try . Its something a hardcore and a casual gamer can enjoy . It doesn't take to much skill , but has a lot of depth in builds and weapons . It doesn't have a storyline , but you can live without that i guess . Its ot a very good game as it lacks quests , better pvp , more content . You oftentimes find yourself grinding on end . Its a good game , but there are games that are a lot better then this one .

OVERALL : 6/10.
THE GOOD : plain fun ; it's free ; you can play for hours and not feel bored ; Diablo II style gameplay .
THE BAD : lack of quests ; dated graphics ; bad PvP ; lack of enemies ; No storyline (at all).

OVERVIEW :
RuneScape is an Java-based 3d BBMMORPG. The game is fun and addicting . It's mainly oriented on casual players , but hardcore gamers can find something to do here too .

GAMEPLAY :
The game isn't based only on combat . In RuneScape you can do whatever you want . It's like a virtual life . You can be anyone you want in this fantasy setting . Examples : Warrior , Wizard , Farmer , Hunter , Chef and etc. As well as any mixes and even everyone of the professions ( you are not expected to choose , you have total freedom of leveling your skills ) .

GRAPHICS :
For a BBMMORPG these graphics are state of the art. Fully 3d and looking great.
Absolute eye candy in the BBMMORPG area .

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS :
Any browser with java ;

PAID OPTIONS :
Membership . Unlocks additional quests , skills , locations , items . You get about 5 times more then you would without membership .

UNIQUE FEATURES :
Random events - are NPCs that randomly spawn and give you quests and bonuses (it quite a good touch).

GAMERS THOUGHTS : Its a quite decent game . You can play it endlessly , yet its to "kiddy" for most hardcore gamers . But the game is so good , everyone should at least try it !

OVERVIEW :
Combats.com is a free Russian text-based BBMMORPG , that is pretty popular in eastern Europe and Asia. The game was launched in 2002 , and was one of the first Russian BBMMORPGs. In later years it became even more popular because of its stability and addictive gameplay.

GAMEPLAY :
The goal of the game is leveling your character. Unlike most MMORPGs maxing out your character is extremely hard ( thats a good thing for the hardcore gamer scene ). The maximum level is 21 , after 6 years the maximal level a play has achieved is 12.
Combats.com leveling system is pretty interesting. You get points from levels and so called "UPs" . UPs are milestones on reaching a level , so you do get more out of those levels.
Combat in combats.com unlike most text-based BBMMORPGs is controlled by the player.
You can choose where you hit , and 2 places you want to block. As well as some skills that are available once every few turns . It makes the combats a half-lottery with a medium skill-element.
I must say its quite fun , and thats an improvement on the classic role-play combat where you only watch the fight .
The game has quite a few quests . Some are well-made , some are not . The quest system feels a little bit tagged on .
Strategy does matter quite a bit here . Choosing the right weapons and knowing your opponent is the key to victory . Most fights are won before the had even been started .

GRAPHICS :
The game uses text and some pictures . But i must say , the interface is as great as an MMORPG can get . In comparison to other text BBMMORPGs combats.com does look pretty good .

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS :
An Internet connection ; Microsoft Internet Explorer ( the only browser it works on ) witch is a big loss as it's impossible to play on MACs and GNU/Linux based machines .

PAID OPTIONS :
You can buy special in-game currency for witch you can buy items that are mutch stronger then the free ones . It is possible to get these items for free , but its hard .

UNIQUE FEATURES :
Everything feels in place and polished . A thing a lot of text-based games lack .

GAMERS THOUGHTS :
If you have to play a text-based game , its a good option . You won't play it 24/7 and you may feel grinding . But as a time waster , this game is a good option .
OVERALL : 6/10
A good text-based MMORPG . I personally have no problems playing this .
THE GOOD : Easy to get into ; can be played very-casually ( like on a 5 minute coffee break ); it's free ;
feels great compared to other text-based BBMMORPGs ; No client required .
THE BAD : Lack of quests ; You oftentimes feel doing the same action over-and-over again ; No graphics ; Can only be played on Microsoft Internet Explorer .
