As much as you should contact your customers once in a while you should also
be liberal about the frequency of your emails. Nobody likes to be spammed every day.
Bizzvo will tell you if a member in your campaign has already received an email within the last 30 days, and allow you to remove them from the campaign.

I know it may look like were doing nothing around the office, but were actually working on the new sales tracking system for Bizzvo. Originally we were not going to add this we didn't want to be a real CRM tool so much as a "Suite of web based business applications". But this feature has been heavily requested and as such we feel we should do everything we can to help our users get the most out of their software.

Soon you will be able to Track Sales, Set personal Sales Goals, Company Wide Sales Goals, and administrators can print reports on all users Sales Statistics.

Why small businesses should move to a hosted solution

I would like to talk about the importance of online hosted solutions for small business.

Besides the benefits of; being easily mobile, accessing data anywhere with internet,
or the convenience of not having to install software on any computer. Not only is it convenient but you are not susceptible to viruses or computer crashes!

Many small business users are not aware of the many options available to them online.
Not just Bizzvo, you can search and instantly and find hundreds if not thousands of applications built for business on the web.

Recently a good friend of mine who runs his own small business began to tell me his tale of how his entire business came to a stand still because his computer hard drive failed and he lost all of his data. Now he even backed up his information daily.

The problem is he had deadlines and now he had to first get the computer fixed rebuilt and all of his applications reloaded onto it before he could even try the backup of his accounting software his Estimates and so on ( which he later found out he was only backing up half of).

Now had he been using an online software suite like Bizzvo he could have simply logged onto a working computer and instantly had access to all of his data. He could have resumed business in less then a minute by simply using a different computer.

The same would go for a virus or other computer malfunction.

"But what if the internet goes down" you say.

I think if most people stop to consider the down time of a computer rebuild or permanent loss of data, it is far easier in todays world of internet enabled everything to find a working internet connection at a friends house an internet cafe a library, all could be utilized to get up and running instantly.

I believe anyone who runs a small business should look into hosted online solutions for their company. The benefits are too great to ignore, and you can find a lot of hosted solutions for the same price as buying Microsoft Office and in some cases less.

Sticky Notes Released!

Sticky Notes are now released! you will find a new tab when you log into bizzvo.

You can play with them RIGHT NOW by clicking this link It will auto log you in as guest and go right to the stickies.

The sticky notes now support multiple boards with color legends so you can organize your stickies better.

We will be adding a feature to change the color of a sticky soon, but as of now to get the color u want you gotta keep clicking to make new stickies until one comes up as your desired color (its random).

Multiplayer Sticky Notes

Well there have been some additions to bizzvo over the long weekend, and I decided I would share them with you so that you can check them out and send us feedback and all that good stuff.

Contacts

You can now print contacts by clicking on the groups which will enable the print group Icon. To print all contacts click the All Contacts Group

Email Campaigns

When executing a campaign it will now check if anyone has unsubscribed to any previous campaigns and allow you to remove them. This is in addition to the already implemented (sent to member within the past 30 days) check.

Link Tracking has been added to the email campaigns, it will automatically add all links as track-able links and record when people click on a link in the email.

Print Campaign button added You can now print a list of members with related info and statistics on track-able links.

Sticky Notes

You can now change the color of your sticky notes, when you hover over them you will see little color circles clicking on one will change your sticky color.

Something amazing happened to the sticky notes this week. They became, that's right, multiplayer sticky notes.

Multiple users can now move sticky notes around the board and jump up and down with glee as they watch sticky notes seemingly move on there own and even change there own content! oh wait, that wasn't the sticky note nor was it the extra pot of coffee you hoarded to yourself, it's just your co-workers messing with you.

Next on the list is making multiple name-able bulletin boards. We want the ability to create a new board for a new project, or anonymous gossip session of sticky note goodness.

but I have decided it's time for bizzvo to leave the home nest and start along its own journey.

Bizzvo gets sticky!

Well, I have decided to make something so cool and so awesome and so sticky that it will make you run around the office with glee, in absolute euphoria.

That's right, sticky notes.

Very soon when you log in to Bizzvo you will find a section for sticky notes.

You will be able to post sticky notes for all users in your company to see. you can drag them manipulate them delete them and even email them to all your friends.

There will also be a bulletin board view so you'll be able to look at the notes in an organized fashion in case that disgruntled worker messed em all up. aka. You. Yeah I know you just couldn't resist dragging them all around hey, it was fun, life's short. drag a sticky.

This is probably a couple weeks away so check back often!

Back to Bizzvo

So I admit Ive been neglecting bizzvo for a while but NO MORE!

Ive made some major improvements lately like updating the entire site structure to be alot more organized. with the added benefit of being able to visit each module by specifying the module name in the address as a folder IE http://www.Bizzvo.com/BizzvoCM/Modules/Contacts will take you right to the contacts if you are logged in.

I also made some major enhancements to the Invoices section. One being the ability to Void invoices, once voided you get a nice big VOID stamp on the invoice so you know not to send that guy. I also finally added the long needed Email Invoice button. So you can now send your invoices off at the touch of a button. As well as use FCKEditor's fantastic interface. to edit the message. However it will auto insert text in the subejct and body so if your in a hurry you can just hit Email Invoice then send and your done.

I will add some screen shots to this post later, I still have some final mucking to do tonight before i upload the final code for the above mentioned features.
