The vaccine is free for all Pratt students.<p> You are highly encouraged to come to Health and Counseling for the<br> vaccine during our designated H1N1 vaccine clinics between 4:00 and<br> 5:30, November 16 ? November 20 and November 23 - 25.<br> You may also use our regular medical walk-in hours for this purpose<br> (9:00 ? 11:00 and 1:00 ? 3:00 M ? Th and 10:00 ? 12:00 and 1:00 ?<br> 3:00 F), but the wait is expected to be much longer during these<br>hours.<p> Due to the current shortage of the vaccine, only those faculty and<br> staff memebers fitting the following criteria are eligible to<br> receive the H1N1 vaccine at this time:<br> Pregnant women<br> All health care workers<br> Anyone 6 months through 24 years of age<br> Anyone 25 through 64 years of age who has an underlying health<br> condition that increases risk of severe illness or complications<br> from flu:<br> Asthma and other chronic respiratory conditions<br> Heart, kidney or liver disease<br> Hematologic diseases, such as sick cell anemia<br> Metabolic disorders, such as diabetes<br> Weakened immune system, from illness or medication<br> Neuromuscular disorders that interfere with breathing or the<br> discharge of mucus<br> Long-term aspirin therapy in people under 19<br> Anyone who lives with or cares for children less than 6 months old<br> We have not yet received our full stock of SEASONAL flu vaccine. We<br> will notify you when it becomes available, but in the mean time you<br> can obtain this vaccine from the NYC Department of Health?s<br>Immunization Clinics.
