Applicants must be a member of a congregation in the Missouri District for twelve (12) months prior to filing an application.<br /><br />The Study Grant program is unique, as recipients are chosen according to financial need and commitment to Christian service. Academic excellence is not one of the criteria to qualify for a grant.<br /><br />Applications are available at the synodical seminaries and colleges, online at www.missourilwml.org under “forms,” from Missouri LWML zone presidents, from pastors, or from Study Grant chairman, Linda Verman, 20816 East 13th Terrace South, Independence, MO 64057-2702. Completed applications must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2009, to be considered for the 2009-2010 school year.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1920661021324916731-5752961778232173240?l=faithinjeffcity.blogspot.com'/></div>News at Faithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02587464386915527284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920661021324916731.post-61805285857338057472009-03-15T17:19:00.001-06:002009-03-15T17:19:32.191-06:00News and Notes for March 15, 2009 <meta http-equiv="CONTENT-TYPE" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> <title></title> <meta name="GENERATOR" content="OpenOffice.org 2.4 (Linux)"> <style type="text/css"> <!-- @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> </style> <p style="margin-left: 0.06in; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 100%;" align="center"> <font color="#000000"><font face="Lydian BT"><font style="font-size: 16pt;" size="4"><b>News and Notes</b></font></font></font></p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0.03in; line-height: 100%;" align="left"><font color="#000000"><font style="font-size: 11pt;" size="2"><b>Our Mission Statement:</b></font></font><font color="#000000"><font style="font-size: 11pt;" size="2"> "We live Christ's love and proclaim his salvation to our community and world through Word and Sacraments."</font></font></p> <p style="margin-bottom: 0.03in; line-height: 100%;" align="left"><font color="#000000"><font style="font-size: 11pt;" size="2"><b>Prayer Requests</b></font></font><font color="#000000"><font style="font-size: 11pt;" size="2"> — </font></font><font color="#000000"><font style="font-size: 11pt;" size="2"><i>(NOTE: Names will be listed for two weeks unless an update has been provided to the church office.
