I worked as a deckhand on crab boats from, 1991-1998, the years prior to the now infamous TV series, The D. Catch. Recently, I have begun researching some of the psychological and physiological aspects of fishing as I am working on a book about my experiences "out there". However,It is not my intention for this book to be about hype, bravado (the longest I went w/o sleep was close to 60 hours)death defying thrills or money. I want it to read about the honesty of the fisherie's heart.. Anyway, I have been keeping a blog too. Its original purpose was to keep family and friends in the loop as my Husband and I work in Greenland and Antarctica, but it has recently morphed into me writing about and researching (fishing) my writing prospectus. If you would like to receive an invite to my blog, you would be more than welcome. As I said, I am very happy to find someone who has not only a a clinical perspective on, but an interest in the Bering Sea Crab fishing industry.
I would also like to add this particular post of yours to my blog.
shannon.zellerhoff@gmail.comShannonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01897908759106368744noreply@blogger.com
