The same thing happened to my 38-yr old daughter, who already has one of each., so I can empathize with you. It's traumatic for all concerned. She also had the usual D&C, follwing quite a lot of loss of blood. After the procedure, her healing did not go well, and she lost more blood, which worried my obstetrically nurse- trained wife and her O.B. quite a lot. But, with further meds and rest, she has recovered, but is still fatigued. This would be bad enough, but she is a really fine Chiropractic Physician, whose patients really miss her minstrations. Happily, her husband is also a very talented Chiropractic Physician as well(he treated me as a student, and was Class Top Clinician), so the Clinic carries on.

Their little four-year old daughter said of the lost baby: "Now he doesn't hurt anymore- Jesus is taking care of him." No need to wonder why the Messiah loved little children so much!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19038911.post-1147118740107450402006-05-08T16:05:00.000-04:002006-05-08T16:05:00.000-04:00Oh, Dr. Moser, I'm so sorry. She is doing fine physically, but the emotional impact will take a bit longer to heal. As you might imagine, we are all really sad about this unexpected turn of events. Although nature has infinite wisdom in these matters, it does not make it any easier.

Thank you so much for your kind words.....Rod Moser_PA_PhDhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16002492839461731343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19038911.post-1146763112560298602006-05-04T13:18:00.000-04:002006-05-04T13:18:00.000-04:00Congrats!But you know, there's only one problem wi...Congrats!
But you know, there's only one problem with that gift - the "last year" rule.
