I had a walk in the forest today. The leaves were falling and different points along the path displayed different patterns of leave. At some point there were a lot of big golden leaves and then many green leaves and now a lot of different kinds of leaves. There was a narrow but long and steep waterfall with dark mossy rocks, still damp beneath the heavy foliage at the end of a long dry summer.
